《SUNRISE ༘ bakugo katsuki》9

It was your 6th day outside of Musutafu together with your co-workers. Today was the last day as tomorrow would be the time to go back.
Unfortunately, there were no other texts from Katsuki aside from the day of the departure.
have a safe trip
Thank you
And that was it. End of conversation. But Katsuki definitely wanted to text you more, ask you how your day went and all, he just couldn't as he didn't want to seem annoying nor a creep.
Your co-workers conversed among themselves and decided to have a night out after today's last meeting.
This is it. You were going to use this opportunity to text Katsuki.
We'll be drinking
with the whole
team later.
I promise to
train hard
when I come
back.
The sound from Katsuki's phone caught his attention. His eyes immediately went wide when he saw your name. He didn't expect that you'd text him, but he'd take this opportunity as well.
i'll double the
intensity
Please, no.
i'd consider if
you get on your
knees and beg
I noticed
something about
you.
what?
You like acting
dominant, but
you were pretty
submissive to
me that time
in the changing
room.
Katsuki stared at the text with widen eyes. This fucker.
im changing your
whole workout plan
you asked for it
I was kidding.
bye
See you when
I get back.
You suppressed a smile as you placed your phone in your pocket. Walking with your co-workers towards the meeting room.
Even Katsuki smirked after keeping his phone back in his bag. "Oya? Who you texting?" Kaminari asked. Katsuki, Kaminari, and Kirishima were hanging out.
"No one." Katsuki says, brushing the topic off by stealing Kaminari's food.
While Katsuki and Kaminari were bantering, Kirishima inwardly smiled to himself as he thought that Katsuki was texting you.
Time flew fast, you and your team were at a RestoBar, ordering dinner and alcoholic beverages.

As the night progressed, where everyone was talking to each other, one of your co-workers caught the attention of the whole team with his topic.
"Gays are so gross, man! I can't stand seeing two men kissing each other. Wait, scratch that, gay people." He said and laughed, it was quite obvious that he's drunk.
"Dude, shut up. You're going to get chewed out by Yaoyorozu." The person beside the homophobic man said.
"It's true! They're so fucking gross!" Despite the warning, he continued spatting out bullshit.
Momo sighed. "I can see why you're single." She says, loud enough for the homophobic man to hear.
"What did you just say, bitch?!" The person spat and stood up angrily while Momo remained calm and collected.
"With that trashy belief of yours, there is no wonder why no one likes you. Oh wait, probably your mom." Momo said and drank her cocktail elegantly.
The aggravated person was about to throw something at Momo when you held his arm. "That's attempted assault. Apologize if you don't want to go to jail." You said.
"Tch. Sorry or whatever."
Let's just say the night didn't end well like you thought it would.
The whole team was heading back to the hotel, with some of them almost passed out and dead asleep, having some of your co-workers carry them.
"Woah, Y/N. You seemed bigger than before." Momo said, walking beside you. "Are you working out?" She asked.
You nodded. You weren't really close with her, specifically everyone in the team since they all belonged to different departments.
"By the way, thank you. If it wasn't for you, I could've gotten hurt." Momo said and smiled.
You nodded once again. "You're welcome. Anyone could've done that, I'm just doing the bare minimum." You said.
"You're so ideal, Y/N." Momo said and laughed. "Do you have a girlfriend?"

You shook your head. "I'm not interested in that type of relationship." But I'd consider Bakugo.
Upon laying down on the bed, all you could think about was how that person's beliefs still exist until today.
Same-sex relationships were still gross to them, but you were honestly glad that someone stood up against your homophobic co-worker. It give you a tingly feeling that there are people that accept those types of preferences, not the standard male to female relationship.
Although indirect, you felt accepted.
Huh? Your eyes briefly widen. With how your thoughts and feelings are going, it seems like you really do prefer men.
No, slash that. You much preferred Katsuki over other men.
Your face scrunches up lightly in confusion. Why would I want Katsuki over others? You were obviously too ignorant for this.
Your phone buzzed on top of the coffee table, slowly sitting up to reach for it.
It was already close to midnight and you certainly didn't expect a text from Katsuki.
did you get back
safe?
The corners of your lips tug up ever so lightly.
Yes, thank you for
your concern.
Katsuki stared at the screen for a good while, wondering what to say.
He couldn't sleep, it was way past his bedtime and here he was, staring so intently at his phone screen. He was 'curious' - denying the word genuine concern - to how you were doing, especially that alcoholic beverages were involved.
He wanted to say something. Anything at all just to keep the conversation going, but he doesn't know what to say.
He flinched when he saw another message from you.
We're going back
tomorrow.
But I won't be
coming back to
the gym
for a while.
I still have matters
to attend at work
after this trip.
Katsuki unconsciously frowned at the text. So, he won't be seeing you for a while.
The hell I care. Katsuki quickly covered his glum thoughts with an unbothered one.
dont forget to
take care of
yourself
NO WHY DID I SEND THAT SHSJFJKEK. Katsuki threw his phone on the bed as he rolled on the floor with his hands roughly pulling his hair.
You read the text, once, twice, three times. You lightly smile again. You immediately thought of Katsuki's flushed face. But of course, you didn't think of his text in any other way and only as an advice from a trainer.
Yes, of course.
You too.
The thought of Katsuki being concerned for you in another perspective didn't occur to you. You merely thought of his concern as him being the trainer.
But when you replied 'you too', you meant it from a different viewpoint, but it wasn't someone as a trainee nor a friend. It was something different.
Katsuki immediately grabbed his phone when it buzzed and he stared so intently at the text.
You too. Katsuki wondered if you were actually concerned for him as a trainee or something else. But, he didn't take this in a different manner.
Knowing him, he's just using me to know if he's gay. Katsuki thought.
Unbeknownst to Katsuki, you had already decided that you preferred men. But of course, you wouldn't tell him that because of a lingering thought in your mind.
Why do I favor Katsuki more than the others?
So you wanted to stay with him for a while, further explore your curiosity with him a bit longer, wanting to prolong the confusing relationship with him.
Concealed to the both of you, you were already falling for each other.
ayt
imma head to
bed
Goodnight, Bakugo.
night
Hearts racing wildly, mind thinking loudly, the two of you laid back down on the bed with a known smile plastered on your faces.
A sincere smile of someone in-love.
