I sat the food down on the table and began to eat after I fixed my plate. Gabriel has been staring at me since we got back to his house." What the fuck are you looking at my dude." I yelled

. He laughed and made his plate." What is it that you can't do ? Everyday you give a nigga a reason to marry you." He mumbled. I smiled and played with my food.

" Anyways ! What do you want to name the baby?" I asked changing the subject. He looked at me like I was crazy and shook his head. "Shakur!" Was all he said before he started eating. I smacked my lips at him.

" Shakur Whyte is not something I'm naming my son and what if it's a girl ?" He rubbed his face and stared into my eyes .

" It's not a girl so there is no need to worry about that. If you don't like Shakur then what do you want to name him then ?" I rolled my eyes and sighed loudly .

. " Well I was thinking Giovanni or something like that . Annnnddddd if it's s girl I want to name her Ginger or Malaya Whyte."

" Hold the fuck up ! Your not giving my SON my last name ? I just caught on to you saying Whyte. My last name is Harris and my child will be a Harris whether you like it or not Mila ." He yelled throwing his plate to the floor.

Being pregnant made me way more emotional than I usually was so I began to cry out of anger. " My child will have your name IF you earn it. "

" Mila I'm going to leave now before I slap the shit out of you . Earn it ? I think I've been doing that since I was told about my child . Don't try to play me like that ." He said before leaving me to eat breakfast alone.

Gabriel was right about him being here but the point is to be here during the whole thing . Not just a couple of weeks. He has five and a half more months to continue to do right . Am I wrong for thinking men had to earn their child getting their last name?

After breakfast I cleaned up and watched tv in the living room before there was a knock on the door. I went to the back to tell Gabriel to open the door but he just ignored me. His phone began to ring so he got up and answered the door for whoever was at the door. I sat on his bed in the dark just to be alone. I just know my kid wasn't going to like people because while carrying him I hated people so much. I yearned to be near Gabriel and no one else.

" Knock knock." Ty said as he opened the bedroom door. Gabby walked in behind him causing me to stand up ready to fight.

" Calm all that shit down . I didn't come to fight I just wanted to check on the baby ." She mumbled. I rolled my eyes and pointed to the door.

" The baby is good so your good to go my G. Bye!"

She sighed and shook her head.

" You don't have to like me but we should get along for the baby sake I am his aunt ." That really made me laugh. Who did she think she was ?

" Being the babies aunt means nothing to me . I don't have to fuck with you and I never will . When you put your hands on me that killed any friendship we ever had so kill it and walk out that door before I slap the shit out of you ."

I know I was being mean but I can't help but hold grudges. ( Fool me once shame on you . Fool me twice shame on me .) Same goes for her brother !

" He's my baby brother and it's my job to protect him. If the roles were reversed and I played Jason , you would have fought me too so you can kill that. We don't have to be best friends but I would like to be cordial."

She was right but I would never admit it that her.

" Yeah I would have beat your ass for playing Jason but don't compare the two. I fucked him so there's no way he could be like a brother to me. " She scrunched up her face and balled her fist before leaving the room. Ty just laughed and sat next to me.

" Such a beautiful apology Mila ! Congrats ! I want to be just like you when I grow up." He said sarcastically. I just rolled my eyes.

" Well I'll be nice for the baby sake but that's it. I don't even fuck with you anymore so cut it ."

"I'm not Gabby so you can shut that shit up. You stuck with me for life and I don't care about you being mad. " he said pretending to throw his nonexistent long hair over his shoulder. I laughed as he pulled me into a hug .

" How are you feeling about the baby ? Do you plan on making things official with my boy?" he asked causing me to frown . As nice as it sounded I didn't think we could ever get to that point. I was pregnant by a man I never even went on a date with or even entertained the thought of being with . I felt like trash and I just wanted to take it all back . Tears fell from my eyes and he held me close .

" Everything will be okay Mila ! You got me and I can send a note through Joe to your best friend. " I squinted my eyes at him .

" What you mean through Joe ? They don't talk no more . " he gave me a look before scratching his head.

" Well Joe and Gab got into a fight because Joe and ole girl didn't break up . You can't tell me you haven't noticed him not being around ." I shook my head no . I really hadn't noticed and I was shocked she was still talking to him . He got up and held his hands up before walking to the door . " The offer is still open just let me know ."

I don't know if I should be mad or not but I don't like being in the dark . I hate the feeling like I can't trust my best friend .
