Today is June 27th and that meant we were partying all day long. Everyone who is really from Houston knows it is a hood holiday and a day to show respect for the the realest rappers to every come out of Houston.

Gabby and I were sitting on a bench at the park bobbing our head to the music while smoking a blunt. I had a few niggas from my crew standing behind us and Jason made Gabby sit on his lap. Tisha walked by and I mugged her like she would actually do something. I couldn't respect her because she had no heart and no self respect.

Jason never made it official with her and has been hooked on Gabby since they met. I looked over at them and began to feel jealous.

" Get away from me with that wack ass love shit. Matter of fact go get me a soda " I said mugging them while my crew laughed. The same four people followed me everywhere I went and they have done so since I was ten.

They would give their lives for me and were beyond loyal to my father. Mike, Jeremy, Maurice, and Hannibal was a team like no other and i admired them so much. They were the only family I had outside of my father. Jason mugged them and took Gabby hand as they went to get food and drinks.

My dad was on the grill and all the food smelt so good. There were ribs, chicken, burgers, links, potato salad, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, chips, and so much more. We liked to give back to the hood sometimes and I admired that. They kept us feed so why not feed and give to them. Jason handed me a plate and root beer before sitting next to me.

" You don't mind me courting your girl? " he asked with a grin. I laughed at him and wondered was he serious.

" I don't mind as long as you make each other happy real talk. " I responded while taking a sip of my soda. I hadn't know her long but I didn't want to see any I'll come to her .

Gabby walked over holding Brittney hand and before i could get on her for not meeting up with me my eyes traveled to the group behind her.

" Baby I missed you so much!' Ty yelled before taking the food and drink I had placing it on the bench next to me. He hugged me and spun me in a circle. Mike cleared his throat while the four of them mugged them. Ty put me down and started kissing the side of my face ignoring the big scary dudes behind us. Jason stood up as Gabby pulled him into a hug introducing him to everyone. Gabriel mugged Jason and pulled Gabby away from him. I hugged everyone but Gabriel and he smirked at me making me feel uncomfortable.

" Baby please take me away its too hot out here. And the fly's so damn big I swear one pushed me down and the mosquitoes bigger . " Ty whined pulling me down next to him on the bench.

" This is Texas what did you expect?" I asked while laughing at him.

" Hell yeah! Remind me to never follow Gabriel ass back here ever again" Marcus groaned before taking off his shirt leaving on his muscle shirt and his shorts.

" Mila did you really wear heels to the park" Ty asked causing everyone to look down.

" Yes I did! I wear heel everywhere if you hadn't noticed. " I said pushing his head. I wore white shorts, a off the shoulder jean shirt, and nude sandal heels. My dads eyes were burning the side of my face and I tried to ignore it. Gabriel kept looking at me and I just felt like I was going to melt. " You guys there is a big party tonight ! Y'all better be there " Brittney said dancing around them.

" As long as they have a bunch of bad bitches, we in there like swim wear " Ty yelled slapping hands with his friends.

" OH yeah! " I said acting as if I was upset and he wrapped his arm around me.

" Baby you know I love you and I have eyes for only you girl" he said so serious I had to scoot over a bit.

"Mila! " my dad yelled. I looked up and walked over to him. " Yeah?" I asked trying not to make eye contact.

" Tell your little ass friend to keep his hands to himself before he don't have any" my dad whispered while mugging Ty. UGK 'Da Game Been Good To Me ' came on and my dad began to sway side to side singing along.

" Was that all you wanted my dear father". I laughed out. He pushed me away and smiled.

" Love you too daddy!" I yelled walking away.

" You heard what I said Mila. Don't show your ass out here ." he mumbled when I blew him a kiss.

" Can you call my phone Brittney! " Joe said as he looked for his phone. K.O. by 2 Chainz and Big Sean began to play. Everyone laughed before I raised my eyebrow at him. I looked to Brittney and we sung it to each other. Back in the day we would play this song over and over until we couldn't bear to hear it anymore.

" I can't believe your boogie ass know that song. Joe you gay ass shit for that wack ass song" Gabriel said with a smirk. Jason, Brittney and our crew laughed at him.

" What's so fucking funny?" Gabriel asked with a mug. Everyone continued to look at him laughing.

" You really don't know who you fucking with bruh! Mila is a psycho and will fuck your life up. It's even worse for the ones underestimate her." Jason said wiping tears from his eyes. Gabby pushed him and looked at them like they were crazy.

"I got a song for Mila and Gabriel since they always in a horrible ass mood. " Ty said getting up standing in front of us. ' Perm' by Bruno Mars played and we laughed so hard. He tried to hit the James Brown but failed miserably. He always knew had to brighten the mood. We spent the rest of the day eating and chilling like we did in Cali. Before we went our separate ways we made plans to meet at the club. My dad had this look in his eye and I didn't know what it was. It seem like everyone around me was planning something big and I was left on my own to figure it out on my own.
