Yisrael was trodding down the trail with Yuh, his fake smile was plastered on his face as she spoke of the events going on in Wahi Tribe.
After escaping from the sinful River, he had walked in on his father, who was talking to Yuh. She had come to meet Yisrael and invited him for a walk.
She told Yuri that this was a crucial time for Yisrael when his oath was coming close to an end. She thought it would be best to get to know each other. Secretly, she wanted him away from that human girl.
Yisrael's heart beat was slow when he was with her but when he saw River, it became rampant.
The green eyed monster was strong enough to make Yuh almost maul that human and she would have done it but knowing that Yisrael would probably break their engagement, she kept those thoughts to herself.
Instead she would use the art of being the ideal lover. To show him her natural and sincerity. It would make him feel at ease with her and would transport him back to her hands like putty.
"Yisrael I have been talking for a while now. Tell me something about yourself." Her arm wounded around his, bringing her breast to gaze each time they took a step back into the village.
It was still bordering into the evening dusk. The promise of starlight where last sun rays melt into the pure black velvet.
Some children were playing around, people scattered, collecting the day's hunt into weaved baskets, women skirting around talking to their lovers.
They were all getting ready for the dance of fire. It happens once at the end of the month. Where the moon was burning high. A commemoration to their Jaguar god of the underworld.
Iborians considered this as a time of rich feasting and over indulging in pleasures. They use intricate body paints to make tribal designs all over their skin and very few wore headdress made of the bright feathers.
Usually the chief or leader's families wore the headdress. It was always orange or yellow because it represented the rays of the fire.
The huge outdoor celebrated fire was lighted in the middle of their covenant. Stood under the carpet newly silver polyester sky, the bale fire looked ferocious. Though it was kept under control, it was phantasmagorical.
Last call of the birds were ringed above as stars began to bid them farewell. The night's solemnity rousing the atmosphere.

The virtuosoes had big drums ready on the side playing tense sinister beats that created the languid and pumping steps.
Yisrael noticed how all of them glanced at him and the hand that was coiled around his.
It was intentional. Done with a purpose to show Yuh's territory.
He tried not to clench his fist at the anticipation of going back to the tent. To River.
"Yuh, why don't we save that for when we truly-"
"Kiss?" Her eyes were widened and there had been a sparkle. He looked at her carefully then.
Skeins of black curls came tumbling down her shoulder, her body was of a very voluptuous woman. He had seen her naked maybe once or twice, he couldn't remember but he didn't need to. The dress she wore was of a snake. It moulded her curves just right. It showed him everything as if she were already bare.
But it wasn't right for him.
All he wanted was to tear off tiny shorts and tanks from his little aggressive glorious woman while she struggled against him.
Yuh must have gotten the wrong message from Yisrael's furrowed concentration because her cheeks blushed pink like the Victorian's high society ladies who showed off their chemise for the first time to those young rowdy soldiers.
However, it gave off all the wrong signals.
Had River been here, she would shoot up on her toes and slant her lips right over his, pursuing his tongue out almost expertly. It made him sour and sweet.
To know she had kissed several other men before him made him want to go and stab each and every one of them. The woman gave her lips to just anyone in the same manner he gave his cock.
The juxtaposition wasn't unknown to him.
"Yisrael?"
"Hmm?" When he broke from his train of thought, he noticed Yuh's attention had gone over his shoulder.
"What is she wearing?" Perplexed at her hostile tone, he turned around only to lose his breath.
Standing across them, River's figure was hugged with staggering black furred dress. No doubt, the women who she was laughing along with must have gotten and made her one.
The dark blue paints marks lined over her body like tracery. She must have known the color signified water. Her hair was down and waved over at one side revealing a bare glimmering shoulder.
Her pearls were in place, neatly over her collarbones. The place his mouth had kissed and he wanted to again. And again.

Yori was dancing around the women and she took his hand, giving him a whirl. One of the woman clapped her hands on her shoulder showing her the right way in which the Iborian dance actually worked.
She seemed to take it on stride, following the beats by the swaying movements of the arms and legs. The whirling of the hips, the smooth glide and arch of her back. She was a natural.
Yisrael's lips curl.
Unfortunately, Yuh noticed and she grabbed his hand. "Why don't you dance with me? Let's show them how it's done."
The Wahi and Iborian dance wasn't that much different. Instead of body paints, Wahi often dance naked but since Yuh was in their covenant, she had to follow by their rules.
Yisrael's gaze was snatched away and his hands were placed upon Yuh's hips, they began to sway around the fire and he tried not to trip as River's whiskey eyes clashed his.
The moment they met, she gave him a pinkie wave which had all the young women surrounding her giggling in spurts.
He shook his head, suddenly flushed. How did she manage to win them over? Iborian women take a lot of time to be pleased when it comes to strangers so she must have done something really worth-pleasing.
River seethed in control.
Look at them.
It was like they were made for each other. Tall two strong svelte individuals gracefully made their way around the fire. Despite her charm that she laid out in front, she couldn't help but feel her heart clench murderously at the way he grabbed Yuh's hips.
She came to know who she actually was and what was her relationship status with Yisrael. She was to be married to him!
Don't care. Don't care. Don't care.
"You shouldn't worry so much."
She rolled her eyes at Yamien, one of the young women who had designed such a bewitching dress for her.
All thanks to her supreme swimming skills, she had managed to snare the attention of these young jovial ladies.
Yamien being young was learning how to swim with a couple of her own friends down the forest stream and River so happened to pass by them where she noticed a hand surfacing out in sign for help.
Not thinking, she had ran headlong and just dove straight into the deep water. Swimming through the strong waves, she managed to lug Yamien onto the drop off as she flailed and coughed.
Giving her some chest compressions, she managed to finally get the water out of her lungs and she breathed deep in and out.
Her eyes were scandalous when she saw her savior. River didn't even expect a thank you and simply tapped her shoulder to get up only to be pulled down and given the tightest hug ever.
Jesus, she would need now chest compression because that girl hugged the air out of her.
Her friends who witnessed the whole ordeal and jumped in excitement and came jogging to her. She thought she had to learn Iborian to speak with them but mother fuckers knew the English language pretty well.
She asked them why no one spoke to her before and they shyly replied that most of women were actually intimidated by her. Her aloofness caused the distance and she wanted to shake her head at that.
After that things became enjoyable and finally, River felt like she was included. Yori came back to her, with his head bowed and that was enough to melt her heart.
When he told her of the dance around fire, she eagerly wanted to check it out. When Yamien noticed her clothes, she simply told her to wait and she got her this black beauty.
However, she gave her the stink eye when she mentioned how envious she had gotten on seeing Yuh began the second dance with Yisrael.
"I'm not."
Yamien clicked her tongue. "You do realize I can hear your heart thumping." Damn these half people!
"Funny you mention that when your eyes keep going to Yosemite." Instantly, Yamien gazed at him. He was clapping his hands watching his brother glide like a bloody swan with Yuh.
"That is not the point. He is the chief's son. He would never look at me." Time to boost in some confidence.
River shook her fist at him like some crazy person. "Woman. Then make him look at you!"
"How?" She worries her lip.
She squinted her eyes deep in thought. "Is this dance between only men and women? Or can even you go in as partners with me?"
"Yes both ways."
Taking hold of her hand, she moved to the circle. Smirking, she hushed at her like a snake. "Just follow my lead."

Eight Years Ago"Mom.." I say with a small smile on my face.My sister had passed her first music lesson and we're all so proud of her."What is it Layla!? can't you see I'm busy?!" She snaps."Oh.." I say, my smile faltering slightly, as I watch mom cuddle Heidi and give her lots of sweets as reward."C-can I have a sweetie too?" I ask.Mom laughs coldly. "Why should you? You've never achieved anything, have you?! Lazy little brat." Heidi giggles and I look at her to see a smirk on her face, making my face fall. I watch mom whisper things to Heidi, making her giggle even more. The door swings open, and my dad walks in.I smile again, running to him and hug his knees but he just brushes me off with an annoyed expression, walking towards my mom hugging her and ruffling Heidi's hair. What's going on?"Dad..ruffle my hair too?" I ask hesitantly. All three of them burst out laughing and I sink down in embarassment."Layla, we always knew you weren't the brightest kid here." He laughs "I just knew you'd be a screw up, right Luise?" He says and she nods."And I was right. You're a failure" He grabs my maths sheet, crumples it up and throws it at me. "You spend way too much time with your 'friends' never on your education, you ungrateful little brat. We should've got rid of you as soon as we found out you were on the way." He spits out spitefully as my mum nods, still smirking."Dad I'll do better, I promise!"I sob, tears streaming down my face, but he shakes his head, smirking. I look at my sister and walk towards her giving her a watery smile."H-Heidi... we're still friends right?"
