《parties // billie eilish》Chapter 65: Girlfriend

As I take a sip of my coffee, I hear steps from the hallway that makes me turn around. I smile when I see that Billie is the one who enters the room, sitting down next to me.

''Good morning,'' she says with a smile.

''Good morning, Billie! Would you like some coffee, too?'' Charles asks, nodding at the cup in my hand.

''Sure, thank you!'' She says happily. As Charles starts to walk around in the kitchen, preparing some coffee, he starts to explain what he did to me earlier.

''So, I was talking with Ember just now, and I let her know that me and Christina are thinking about moving back to LA. Chicago just don't feel right for us, and now we can take care of Ember,'' he says, messing up my hair. The nostalgia hits me when he does that, because it makes me feel so young. It feels like my family isn't fucked up... or wasn't fucked up.

''Really? That's awesome!'' Billie says, pulling me into a sidehug before leaving her arm around my shoulders.

''I know, right?'' Charles says with a smile before putting the cup down in front of her.

''Thank you.''

As Charles walks around in the kitchen, making some breakfast, I lean my head on Billie's shoulder.

"So, for how long have you two been together?" Charles suddenly asks, making me tense and raise my eyebrows.

"Uhm, we're not-" I start.

"Guys, I can see how you look at each other. Me and Christina met in your age, too so I know," he says, making me laugh a bit from how bad we must have hidden the fact that we're dating.

"Well, she became my girlfriend yesterday," Billie says, making me gasp a bit from her sudden confession but i nod with a smile. To have someone who shows appreciation towards me in this way almost makes me cry as it feels so new. To finally have her. She is mine and I am hers. Something about not knowing what Billie and I were hurt so much so now when we have a label on it, it feels so good.

"Really? How did you guys meet?" Charles asks while putting some lettuce on a sandwich.

"In school, we worked on a project about penguins together and fell in love," Billie says, making me laugh.

"Sounds interesting!" Charles says, turning around with a chuckle. Okay, so now Charles knows about me and Billie which I think is nice because I don't feel like hiding things from him.

We talk a bit more about mine and Billie's realtion, but I can't focus on the conversation because I can't stop thinking that Billie is my fucking girlfriend. I know how it sounds, trust me. I sound like a eight year old who just ''married'' a boy at kindergarden, but this is real. I can't describe how fucking happy this girl makes me, and I really wish that I could show her, too. I think that it's really hard to show love and appreciation, but showing sadness is easier. Just the thought of that makes me really sad, but we all know that sadness will always weigh more than happiness. Imagine a dark room where you light a candle. That will make the room lighter, right? You will appreciate that the room isn't dark anymore, but after a while you will get used to the room being light and you won't appreciate the candle as much as you used to. Now, imagine that the dark room represents me and the candle represents Billie. She came into my life and made it perfect, or at least better. She made me think that life was actually worth living, but I'm scared that I will get used to this feeling. Like I've said before, it scares me that we get used to good feelings, because someone or something can take it from us anytime.

''What were you thinking about when me and Charles were talking?'' Billie asks as we walk up the stairs towards our room after finishing our breakfast. I smile at her before answering.

''Nothing, I was just thinking about how I got a new family,'' I lie and Billie actually seems to believe me, wrapping an arm around my shoulders.

''I'm happy for you,'' she says, kissing the side of my head as I giggle. We walk into the bedroom again and I jump onto the bed, grabbing my phone. I scroll trhough my instagram feed as Billie suddenly grabs my arm.

''Yo, my old friend here in Chicago is hosting a party like twenty minutes from here tonight! We have to go there!'' She exclaims, looking at me with pleading eyes. I feel so incredibly tired and exhausted, but I don't want Billie to feel bad, so I nod with a smile.

''When are we leaving?'' I ask, making her smirk before pecking my lips.

''After dinner. Now come here, girlfriend,'' she says, opening up her arms for me as I lay down in her arms with a grin on my face.

After eating dinner, I walk upstairs to get ready.

''Yo, take it easy,'' Billie says with a chuckle as I almost run around in the bedroom, looking for my clothes.

''I gotta find my dress,'' I mumble as I search through my bag for the second time without any success.

''You mean this one?'' She asks, making me turn around in confusion. When I realise that she's holding up my black party dress I gasp before snatching it out of her grip.

''What the fuck? Why do you have it?'' I ask, looking for any scrathes on the dress.

''I don't know, I like to steal your things because you're so cute when you get mad,'' she says with a grin, making me roll my eyes.

''Come on,'' I mumble before taking off my pants, feeling her eyes on me.

''Aren't you supposed to change, too?'' I snap with a laugh, making her laugh.

''You still think that you're in control, don't you?'' She asks seriously while approaching me slowly, making me gulp.

''I know that I'm in control,'' I whisper as her body is pressed against mine and she's looking down at me.

''I will prove you wrong one day, trust me. When you least expect it,'' she whispers as her hot breath hit my face, sending shivers all over my body.

''I'm waiting,'' I say, my eyes not moving away from hers. She responds by leaning in, placing a kiss on my jaw. The sexual tension in this room could be cut with a knife, but we both know that we can't do anything right now because Charles and Christina are downstairs and the party is starting soon.

After getting ready, Billie grabs my hand and walks over to the mirror.

''You look so fucking good,'' she mumbles, hugging my from behind as her chin rests on my shoulder.

''As do you,'' I mumble and she smiles before grabbing my hips, making me turn around. I smile before she connects our lips, sending goosebumps all over my body. After pulling away, she grabs her phone and opens up instagram. When she takes a picture of us in the mirror, my hand on her chest and her hand on my back, dangerously close to my ass, a smile spreads on my face.

''I'ma post this.''
