My first day at Julia, Travis and Kevin's school. I'm pretty fucking nervous about being the new girl so I stop before entering the classroom, looking at Julia.

''I'm nervous, Julia'', I say, biting my nails as the other, older students enters the classroom like any other day. Julia grabs my arms, rubbing them.

''It's okay, you're gonna do great!'' She says, hugging me before leading me into the classroom. I walk in and stand by the teachers side to be introduced. Jullia sits down and gives me a thumbs up.

"Today we're welcoming this student, Ember'', the teacher says, touching my shoulder lightly and I see how Kevin, Julia and Travis who sits in the back are smiling. Julia has been going to the same school as Travis and Kevin, but she didn't know about them because they didn't have any classes together. I walk through the classroom and sit down next to Julia. I already feel how the vibe here is better than my school. People seem more nice here and there's no girl like Karen. Euw.

The teacher hands out some tasks for us to do and I work together with Julia.

''Yo, this is much better than my fucking school'', I say, making her chuckle.

''It's okay, I guess'', she says, writing on the paper. I look around to see all the new faces. It looks like a normal class overall.

Later

I stab a piece of lettuce with my fork, inspecting it. It looks fresh and green, not like my the food at my school.

''Guys, I need your advice right now'', I mumble with my food filled with food. They all look at me, waiting for me to continue.

''As you know, Billie is going on tour next week and she offered me to come with her. I really want to, but I just can't leave my mom, you know?'' I explain and the others pout a bit.

''Yo, that's really hard. Honestly, I can't say what I would have done because I haven't been in your situation'', Travis says with a sigh. I move around my fork in my food, suddenly not being that hungry anymore. I hate when my problems just hit my all at once, it's just... too much. Julia probably sees the way my mood ruins so she takes my hand and smiles.

''You're gonna get through this, just do what you think is right'', she says, trying to cheer me up.

''Yeah, I'll figure something out'', I smile before trying to come up with other things to talk about and Travis saves me.

''So, my friend William who you met at the party at Julia's'', he starts, poiting at me. ''He will have a party tomorrow and y'all will come with me because I've got no other friends!''

I start to think. William, who's that? After a while I remember the blonde guy that I met at the party together with Travis. I actually wondered where he went because I never spoke to him again, even though he came to the party with Travis. I don't know the guy that well, so it would be pretty scary to have a conversation with him, but I'll try.

''Yeah, sure'', I smile, not showing any signs of being nervous. ''When are we meeting up?''

''My house at eight'', he answers.

Okay, so another fucking party to worry about. Is Billie even going? I try to stop thinking about it and focus on what's happening today, instead. What should I do after school? I'll probably hang out with someone. Or, I have to hang out with someone because I'm not even allowed to live alone at my place because I'm ''only a child''. To be honest, I don't know if it's good or bad that I'm always surrounded by people. It's good because I always have someone to talk to if something happens, but I would like to be alone so I can just shut everyone out. When I do that, it feels as if no one else has to suffer from the way I feel.

Later

I enter the house, throwing my bag on the floor before sitting down on the couch. After reaching for the remote, I turn the TV on and lean back. Suddenly, I hear a notice from my phone and I reach for it, smiling when I see that Billie is the sender.

''Billie's coming soon'', I say, stretching my arms.

''Okay, you miss her?'' Kevin grins.

''Shut up, I just can't stand y'all so I have to be with her!'' I say, acting mad and Kevin laughs.

''No, but you two are literally goals, man'', Travis says. ''I want a girlfriend.''

''You'll find someone, Trav'', I say before rushing to the door as Billie knocks. The others laugh from my excitement and I open up the door to see a tired Billie.

''Are you okay?'' I ask as she practically falls into my arms.

''Yeah, I'm just so fucking tired'', she yawns before pecking my lips. I smile when we pull away before entering the living room. She hugs everyone before laying down on the couch.

''Yo, Billie. Are you coming to William's party tomorrow?'' I ask her.

''I don't think so, unfortunately. I'm having some preparations to do about the tour, I'm sorry'', she says, making me pout.

''I'm sorry, baby'', she repeats before grabbing my head and pecking my lips.

''Dude, get a room'', Travis grins, making me blush a little.

We all just sit there and watch TV for a while before Billie stands up, yawning.

''Yo, I really need to get home and sleep now. I'm so fucking tired'', she says before hugging everyone.

"You can sleep here," Julia says, her gaze stuck on the TV screen. "Ember misses cuddling with you."

"Shut up!" I outburst, avoiding looking at Billie because she's probably grinning as fuck. From nowhere I feel how Billie pulls me up to my feet, leaning my up the stairs.

''Good night, Ember'', Julia says, smiling and I just wave before following Billie.

When I open the door, Billie lays down under the covers before looking at her phone. I lay down by her side, crawling under the covers before turning around on my side so I'm facing her. I put my arm around her stomach, moving closer to her to feel the comforting, warm feeling of her being close to me. She immediately responds by wrapping an arm around my shoulder and kissing my head.

''You're cute'', I say.

''Shut up'', she says.

''You sound like me'', I grin.

''That's a compliment'', she says back.

''Oh my god'', I sigh after hearing the cheesy statement.

Billie turns her phone off before cuddling into my side and I smile, holding her warm body against mine.

''I love you'', she mumbles against my neck, kissing it lightly.

''I love you more.''
