"It's better to die than not having your love"
Meera looked at the watch to see the time is 9.30 pm. Sitting next to his mom Siddharth was playing a game on his iPad. He was curiously watching the iPad even the sound of TV didn't distract him.
While changing the channel Meera stopped to see the news reporting about her father in law's health. The reporter also added about Vikranth's recent entry in politics. Hearing that Meera felt irritated and sad.
Yes, Vikranth joined in his dad's party a month before, because of the constant compulsion of that party's president. Without much thinking he accepted and he not even asked any suggestion with Meera.
The things that she doesn't want to happen in her life is happening now. She's stuck with her fear of losing Vikranth and her happiness.
She waited for him till 10 pm, knowing that it's waste to wait Meera bought the iPad from Siddharth, this time he gave without fighting. She placed the iPad on the table and carried Siddharth to their room.
"Siddharth do you want to Pee," she asked.
He nodded and Meera took him to the restroom. After comfortably placing Siddharth on the bed Meera turned on her phone to see whether there's any message from Vikranth but as usual there's none. If it were five months he will call or message her to inform that he will be late but now he stopped doing that.
She laid beside him and Siddharth embraced his mom to sleep. Cuddling him, her mind started clouding with the thoughts of Vikranth. Like what happens when he leaves her and Siddharth. It gave a trembling feeling and fear. Seeing the things that were happening in her life she can't help but having negative thoughts and losing this beautiful life.
She knows Vikranth won't do that mistake but after all, he's a human, a man.
Then Tired of thinking all this Meera slept eventually.
After a tiring day, Vikranth came to the house at 11 pm, he looked at the misplaced things and Siddharth toys all over in the living room. With a small smile, he went to the kitchen to place the imported chocolates in the fridge that he bought specially for Siddharth.
He saw there's food for him, though he is not feeling to eat but thinking about Meera, he washed his hands and had that in silence.
He's missing Meera if it where five months before she will wait for him even it is 1 pm or more than that. She will hug him and kiss him with all her love when he enters the house. And she used to call him when he's late.
Vikranth can see her eagerness in her eyes for him, sometimes Meera confesses that she is missing him terribly, she doesn't know how Vikranth felt to see and hear that, it assured that he's having someone only exclusively for him but now it is all changed.
Vikranth tried to eat but this separation disturbed his peace of mind, he pushed the plate aside and placed his palm on his forehead. It is torturing him to be away from Meera. He felt it is better to die than this separation.
He headed upstairs. To his surprise, Meera and Siddharth were sleeping in his room. His eyes calmed to see them and his heart clenched because he's not with them.
Unbuttoning his shirt, Vikranth went to his closet. He changed into a blue t-shirt and a pair of black sweatpants.
He stood beside the bed and looked at his cute family, his world and his everything. In these five years, he never made her cry, until that day he scolded her for being a retarded person. From that day onwards he avoided to touch her, even she wanted too. That is not because of anger, it is because of love.

He didn't want Meera to feel his pressure. He doesn't want to be a burden that hurt her both mentally and physically.
When he was in his thoughts, Siddharth called him. "Appa you came?" and that surprised Vikranth.
With a big smile on his face, Vikranth nodded his head. "Had your dinner?" Siddharth questioned as a big man and Vikranth laid beside him.
"Hmm, I had, you?"
"I had", Siddharth said and laid over his dad.
"Siddharth, today where did you go with mom?" Vikranth asked casually.
"I went to see grandpa, and Amma asked me not to say this to you."
"Oh..." Vikranth nodded and looked Meera who's sleeping peacefully without aware of anything.
"What did you do there?" he asked caressing his hair.
"Hmm... I played there and mom talked with that grandpa," he said and touched his dad's mustache.
"Appa(Dad) when I will have this," he asked pointing the mustache.
"Soon," Vikranth said and embraced him.
Closing his eyes, he sighed deeply. He knows Meera went to see his dad, he knows everything that she is doing and hiding from him.
But he doesn't understand what just happening....he never indented to create this separation.
Vikranth gently patted Siddharth and made him sleep peacefully in his embrace and his head clouded with the thoughts of his busy life that is getting even more busy by his recent commitments, now Vikranth clearly understood about his dad's situation, even he wanted to spend some time with his family he finds it really difficult.
When he found that Siddharth slept, he slowly placed him on his side. Giving a kiss on his forehead Vikranth held Meera's hand. He gazed her face that was dull and sad.
Can't you forgive ms? He asked her and decided to end this silence and separation as soon as he could.
Meera opened her eyes in the middle of her sleep. She looked Vikranth and his hand holding hers made her realize his love for her.
I am sorry for hurting you. I am not in my right mind, but now I am changed. Please don't avoid me Vikranth, she thought and slowly taken her hand from his grip. She hugged Siddharth and held Vikranth's hand and continued her sleep.
"Hey Siddharth, come here my darling," she called. As she decided Meera started to overcome this depressive depression.
"No... I am playing with dad," he replied.
"Have some milk and then play with dad," she said again.
"Meera... come here with the milk," Vikranth ordered.
Meera went to his playroom, where father and son were sitting and constructing a toy building. She sat beside them and gave the cup to Siddharth. He hurriedly drank that in a gulp and again started giving ideas to his dad for the construction.
Meera smiled and watched how cute he was! Siddharth is very similar to Vikranth like a carbon copy of him, he's having every single quality that Vikranth has. Just like his dad, he won't spend a single minute without his mom.
"Sid, shall we go somewhere in the evening," Vikranth asked looking Meera.
"Ok!!" he said in excitement.
"Ask whether mom is coming or not," Vikranth said.
"Mom will come," Siddharth didn't ask but ordered.
"Ok, my dear," she gritted and lifted him to place in her lap. She cuddled and kissed him until he asks her to stop.
Vikranth watched this with a big smile on his face, he suddenly hugged them with his wide shoulders and that surprised Meera.

She hugged him back, tightly like she never wanted to leave from his warmth. But they forgot that they were crushing their son.
"Ah... I can't breathe," Siddharth said and that disturbed them.
Vikranth had a mischievous smirk gazing at Meera and she turned her face to the other side unable to withstand this awkwardness.
She quickly left the room and Vikranth looked at her with a smile on his face because she is still feeling shy even though they did this for a million times.
That evening Vikranth taken them to an amusement park, it is been a while since they went out together, most of the time Vikranth will reject the idea of going out because people will look at him like seeing an alien so Meera will take Siddharth outside for park or some other places where she wish to go.
Vikranth carried Siddharth in one hand and held Meera's hand in another. They went on every ride and Siddharth enjoyed a lot, by seeing his smiling face Vikranth and Meera forgot about their misunderstandings and smiled along with him.
After enjoying for some time, they settled in a place to have their ice cream that Vikranth brought for Meera and Siddharth. Today there is no crowd and only a few people were sitting in that park.
"Why you didn't say that you're going to see my father", Vikranth suddenly asked Meera. She turned her gaze to her son who is running here and there. Oh... Siddharth how can you betray your mom...
"What?" she asked like she doesn't know anything.
"Why you didn't say?" Vikranth asked again giving an intimidating expression.
"How did you know that?" she asked in a defeated tone.
"I know, Siddharth told me, our driver and our hospital staffs everyone knows that you're visiting my father and I am not an exception in that," he said.
"That...is.." Meera tried to give a reason but Vikranth cut her off.
"What I did Meera, am I looking like a stupid for you. This minute I am living means that is only for you and Siddharth but you just avoiding me for a simple reason. And I too hated you for not caring about me, don't you know that I am having only you and Siddharth?" he blurted and Meera felt like crying.
"Meera... if you told that you wanted to see my dad, then I have allowed you but why you hide that from me," he asked.
"I thought you will get mad," she said in a low voice.
Hearing that Vikranth sighed in frustration. "But...why you didn't say anything about joining in politics?" Meera asked.
"That is... I don't want you to feel my pressure. Don't worry I am not planning to become like my dad," Vikranth said. He was compelled since his dad is sponsoring a lot of money on his party and they don't want to lose that after he dies.
Hearing that Meera's heart calmed little. "I am sorry Vikranth for doing that and I won't do that again."
"It's ok, but don't ever try to avoid me Meera, it is killing me," Meera's eyes welled with tears to listen to those words.
"Amma water, water, water", Siddharth whined and Meera came out from her thoughts and gave some water to him.
Meera remained silent throughout the ride back to the house, realizing her mistake immersed her in the pool of regret. She didn't cry but understood how much Vikranth is meant to her and how much she meant to him.
After finishing their dinner Vikranth and Siddharth went up to their room and Meera followed them after some time.
She made Siddharth sleep by telling some stories and Vikranth was doing some work on his laptop but he was constantly impatiently looking Meera. When Siddharth was asleep Meera looked Vikranth who's eagerly waiting for her kisses, her moans, her touches and her warm body that he's going to cherish for this whole night.
When they entered the adjacent room, Vikranth yanked Meera very close to him and started kissing her like a hungry man. He started undressing her at the same time controlling her with his lips.
"Ah... I am going to rip this blouse," Vikranth groaned when he struggled to unpin her blouse.
"Wait I will help you," she gasped and removed it to reveal her beautiful torso.
Getting rid of his shirt Vikranth again started kissing Meera and they stumbled on the bed nearby he purposely nibbled her collarbone little hard to mark his yearning for her.
Meera moaned and the sting made her eyes to well with tears.
"Is it paining?" Vikranth asked in a concerned tone looking her eyes. But still has that mischievous spark on his orbs.
"Stop talking and kiss me," she snapped and hold him against her.
With a smile on his face, Vikranth kissed her and his hand went inside her petticoat.
"Vikranth stop, please..." Meera moaned unable to resist this pleasure he's creating in her.
"Why I have to stop, this is your punishment for not allowing me to touch you," he groaned while thrusting into her hard.
"Don't be loud it will wake Siddharth," Vikranth added and kissed her lips.
Hearing him Meera stopped somewhat and kissed him back. Vikranth sucked her lips until they were swollen. She ran her fingers through his locks and gripped whenever he hit her inside very hard.
After reaching his fifth orgasm Vikranth collapsed on her, breathing her scent and feeling her warm body Vikranth closed his eyes in peace. Caressing his back Meera kissed his chest.
"I love you, baby," she whispered in his ears.
Vikranth raised and looked her face, caressing her hair and analyzing her eyes, "Remember this, I am not just loving you... I am living for you, you're my everything Meera. So don't push me, I don't have anyone and anywhere to go," he confessed from his heart.
These are the words that were lying deep in his heart that wanted to come out in this precious moment where their soul is connected intensely than their body.
Meera just nodded and hugged him as tight as she could. He didn't waited further and entered into her again and passionately adored her body with his love.
"Vikranth will I get pregnant again?"
"Umm, you will", he said and kissed her nape.
"Siddharth needs a lovely sister," he added seeing his son. After their passionate lovemaking session, they came back to their room since they don't want to leave their son alone.
"I thought the same," Meera giggled.
"Vikranth... shall we go to see your dad tomorrow," Meera asked.
"Hmm Okay," he snuggled into her neck.
"But now let me sleep. After a long time I am going to sleep peacefully," he said and cuddled her and Meera embraced her son. And they slept peacefully.

Noli Me Tank in a Mall
Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo are important cultural works that ignited the Philippine Revolution against Spain. They are novels that exposed to the populace the abuses and the injustices of their Spanish colonial rulers, the hypocrisy of their priests, and inherent cruelty of their class structure over the powerless masses. Unfortunately, they rose up in the middle of the Spanish-American War, one which saw Spain lose most of their overseas colonies and decisively end as a World Power. The war ended in the 1898 Treaty of Paris, in which Spain also sold the Philippines to the USA for the sum of twenty million dollars. The revolutionary government was then crushed by the overwhelming military might of the United States and the Philippines turned into a territory. While the Philippines stands as the USA's greatest successes in nation-building, their early occupation left almost one-fifth of the population dead from combat and disease. Jose Rizal was executed by the Spanish long before knowing what might happen to his country. The world presented within The Noli and the El Fili is therefore stuck frozen in time, forever caught in that moment before a Revolution. Now let's see what happens to this nation if we give it the Light Novel treatment and jam the entirety of the Internet into their protagonist's skull and watch him try to fix things with his unfortunate tendency to sound like a supervillain. Updates Mondays and Fridays. Note: The Noli and El Fili have been public domain since 1946. This is completely fair game.
