Jane is watching in admiration as Marcus Morningstar plays his guitar in his chambers, beside his mother's. Marcus keeps a healthy diet of human food and blood in his system, it keeps hi healthy.

It's been seven years and it appears that he's done aging now. Novalee is in the throne room.

"Alec, go get Marcus," Caius says.

Alex grumbles a few choice words as he leaves the throne room. Shortly later, Alec returns with Marcus. Jane went somewhere else.

"Marcus, how would you like to go home with your mother?" Aro asks.

"Yes!" Marcus replies quickly as he looks at his mom and back to the kings. "Are you serious?"

"From what it seems, you're done aging," Aro states. "It's time you meet your family."

Novalee grows excited and Marcus hugs her.

The two load a plane in Florence, smiling at one another. Marcus is happy to be going to Forks, Washington. He hopes it will be home go him. Novalee first wants to go to La Push, and eee the pack. It's been seven whole years.

As the plane finally lands in Port Angeles, butterflies fill Novalee's stomach as she puts her dark shades on. They get off the plane and catch a taxi to the Cullen house. No one's home, thank goodness.

Noveles and Marcus get into Novalee's Charger and she drives to La Push. She sees a seven year old running around, a little boy. Sam walks out and he freezes at the all too familiar car and watches as the woman gets out.

"No," Sam gasps as she removes her glasses. "Novalee?"

"Sam," Novalee coos as Marcus gets out.

"Nova!" Sam says again with more enthusiasm and he rushes over, and hugs her. "Oh, you're back."

"Sam?" Emily coos as she comes out, holding a three week led baby girl. "Nova?"

Novalee looks up with her crimson eyes. "Emily?"

"Hey!" Emily exclaims, ignoring the red eyes. "That your son? Your reasoning for leaving spread like a wildfire with no treaty and all."

"Yeah, this is Marcus Morningstar," Novalee says.

"Hey," Marcus greets.

"The boy is Jackson," Sam points him out. "And the baby's Americus."

"Is Jared here?" Nova asks and Sam nods. "Does he hate me?"

"Come on in," Emily coaxes, Jared hasn't heard Novalee's name. "Only one way to find out."

Jared is talking to an eighteen year old Emma when Novalee walks in.

"Mom?" Emma says quietly when she looks passed Jared. "Mom!" Emma exclaims amd she runs over, and tackles her in a hug, Marcus reads her mind and sees the adoption process.

Novalee stumbles back a little as she giggles, catching Emma. Jared's eyes are wide as he gawks at Novalee. Emma has not let go.

"Emma, this is your brother, Marcus," Novalee grunts.

Emma releases her mom and looks at the boy who looks identical to Jasper. "Hey. You look like your dad."

"Novalee?" Jared croaks.

"Hey," Novalee coos and Jared just storms out, suddenly mad and he phases. Nova sighs. "I got this," she says as Sam goes to catch him. "This is my fault. Emma, Marcus, get to know each other."

"Jared!" Novalee calls as she walks through the woods, until she finds his human form near a pond in Forks. "Hey."

Jared looks up at her, the rain hitting his tanned skin. "Why?" He stands and he approaches the red eyed vampire. "Why'd you leave?"

"I was pregnant, like Bella," Novalee replies, and Jared just eyes her. "I died, in Volterra. Why do you think there wasn't a fight?"

"You had Jasper's baby?" Jared asks, rising an eyebrow.

"Yes," Novalee replies. "Marcus is Jasper's."

Jared stares at Novalee for what sees like hours before his eyes Pool with water as he pulls her into his tight hug. Jared sniffles into her hair as he hugs his best friend, finally. He denies to let her go until he hears Sam's howl.

Jared wraps an arm around Novalee and leads her back. They walk inside Sam's and find Jacob.

"Jacob Ephraim Black," Novalee muses as Emma and Marcus continue getting to know each other.

Jacob's eyes snap over toward her and he smirks. "Novalee Morningstar." Jacob gets up amd he hugs her before he turns to the pack. "I'm proposing to Nessie."

"Renesme?" Novalee inquires, and he nods. "I gotta see her again."

"Oh, un, Nova..." Jake says. "Edward's calling the coven in for this."

"Is my dad coming, too?" Marcus asks.

Jacob jumps, he didn't know Marcus was there but looking at him, he knows which one his dad is. "He should be."

"That's going to be one hell of a reunion," Jared mutters. "Rosalie isn't with them anymore. She went to Athens with June."

"I didn't think she'd stick around when she had June," Novalee says. "What was that comment before?"

"What?" Jared puts on his innocent face. "What do you mean?"

Novalee rolls her eyes. "Can I hunt?"

"She's on a mixed diet," Marcus tells a confused Sam. "Human and animal, just started that last week. Her eyes still need to,e to dim."

"Go ahead," Sam says after Marcus's explanation.

Novalee flashes out of the Uley home and she runs through the woods, enjoying being in Forks again.

Leah Clearwater enters the pack house - Sam and Emily's - And she picks up Americus first thing. She stops when she sees Marcus, and their eyes meet. Leah freezes and gasps a little as she sees their future.

"It's about time you imprinted," Sam says as Jackson begs Marcus to play video games, Marcus agrees when Leah finally looks away and Jackson drags him away.

"Who's that?" Leah asks.

"Novalee's son," Sam says.

"Nova's back?" Leah's asks. "Does Paul know? She was the only Cullen he liked."

"He doesn't," Jared states. "He hasn't been here.n he has a kid."

"A seven year old Jackson," Leah says. "Paul can bring Beau over."

"He knows that," Sam says. "Like that dumb Kim knows she can bring Janelle and Joby over."

Joby amd Janelle are Kim and Jared's twins.

Novalee has finished eating a bear when suddenly she's against a tree. When she looks forward, she meets Bella's golden eyes.

"Nova?" Bella gasps.

"Hey," Novalee greets.

Bella laughs as she hugs her, Novalee hugs back.

"Wanna see Edward?" Bella asks.

"Yes!" Novalee chirps.

"Before you do..." Bella says. "Another three months after you left... Edward let it out that you were pregnant."

Novalee closes her eyes at the news. "So Jasper knows?"

"He knows," Bella replies.

Bella leads Novalee to the cottage Emmett built for the married couple seven years previously. Edward comes outside and he freezes when he sees Novalee. She flashes over and she slaps the fire out of him before hugging him.

"You told Jasper," Novalee says as she pulls away.

"I'm sorry," Edward says.

"I gotta get back to La Push," Novalee says. "My son's there."

"Is that him in your mind?" Edward asks and Nova nods. "He is identical to Jasper."

"I know," Novalee replies. "He's a mind reader like you, and clairvoyant like Alice."

"Nice," Edward muses. "I'll see you soon."

Novalee nods and she flashes back to Sam's. Leah hugs her first thing as Emily feeds Americus.

"Welcome back," Leah says, she's radiant.

"Did you imprint on my son?" Novalee asks and Leah nods. "Welcome to the family, Leah."

Leah smiles even wider and hugs the vampire before she goes to find Marcus. Emily hands Americus to Novalee. Nova coos over Americus and she sits beside Jared on the couch while holding Sam and Emily's daughter.
