《The Newborn》Chapter 37

A very weak, and very pregnant Novalee is laying in Doctor Rathbone's room where he keeps his medical supplies. He has needles that can penetrate and he knows the baby's healthy. Aro steps inside amd he sees her stomach.
"You're coming around," Aro says. "Irina Denali came to us."
"What did she want?" Nova asks weakly.
"To tell us about Edward and Bella's child," Aro says. "Three months, looks seven apparently."
Aro walks over, he is actually holding a glass of blood. He helps Novalee stand and he hands her the blood.
~~~
"Novalee's What!?" Jasper yells at Edward, who accidentally let it slip. "She's pregnant? Since when?"
"When she left," Edward says. "She left when she found out. Went to the Volturi."
Alice goes into a vision.
~~~
Nova goes to tab the blood from Aro, but her baby kicks in the wrong spot and her spine snaps.
~~~
"She's going to he okay," Alice coos. "You will see her again."
"Should I want to?" Jasper growls.
~~~
As Nova falls, Aro is quick to catch her and get her on the table. Doctor Rathbone rushes in, having heard the spine snapping.
~~~
"Why wouldn't you?" Emmett asks..
"She's not my mate."
~~~
"The baby's coming," Doctor Rathbone demands as he hears her heartbeat fading. "I have to bite through her skin."
"Do it," Aro urges.
Novalee screams in pain as the pain finally hits. Rathbone bites through Novalee's stomach amd through the womb until he sees the baby. Rathbone hurriedly stuffs his hands inside of Novalee's stomach and pulls the baby boy out. He lays him down and he has Aro take him.
"You take him, I'll change her," Aro says and Rathbone leaves with the baby.

Aro looks at the girl he looks at as a daughter now and he bites her in a few different spots, making sure his venom get into her with each fang puncture before he pulls away. Aro pushes the hair from the dead girl's face before Marcus steps in the room.
"You changing her?" Marcus asks, he's rather close to Nova.
Aro nods. "Yes. That baby deserves a mother."
"Yes, he does," Marcus reploes. "And a name. A name his mother gives him."
~~~
Alice's vision cuts off suddenly and she looks at Edward. He knows. The baby killed Novalee. They look at Jasper, who isn't as upset as he ought to be. Nova might not have been his mate, but he still loved her.
~~~
After about an hour, Aro's venom has spread throughout Novalee's veins amd her eyes snap open, crimson. She heads a baby crying and she looks between the bloody hospital bed and sees a beautiful baby boy with a blotch of blonde hair on top of his head.
Jane walks in with a blood bag, making Novalee snap her eyes in Jane's direction. The vampire hands it to her, and Nova drains it before she picks up her son.
"Hi," Nova coos, not caring that she's a vampire again.
"What's his name going to be?" Marcus asks as he walks in.
"Marcus Avon Morningstar," Novalee replies. "After my favorite Volturi king."
Marcus smiles for once as he walks over and carcasses a finger across the boy's cheek. "Marcus Morningstar."
"What a wonderful name," Aro exclaims as he enters. "I see you're awake."
"Who turned me?" Novalee asks.
"I did," Aro replies. "I'm sorry."
"It's okay," Novalee coos. "I'm a mother."

"Indeed you are," Aro coos. "When he's full grown, whenever that is, I'll let you bring him to Forks to meet his father."
Novalee nods. "Okay. That sounds good."
"Can I hold him?" Aro asks.
Novalee nods and allows him to take her son. "Can i have more human blood?"
"Go with Marcus," Aro says. "It's feeding time. I'll watch baby Marcus."
Novalee walks out with Marcus and he leads her to the throne room. Caius smirks at Novalee's new red eyes and Felix leads the humans in and locks the door.
"Pick, and feed," Caius states as he goes toward the group of humans. "Enjoy."
Novalee smirks before flashing forward.

Now these players and anyone who harbors them are on his list. I have so much planned for this that it should be fun and entertaining for readers who enjoy the LitRPG genre as much as I do. Please join me as I recount the tale of a man who becomes a legend — both in-game and out of it. I plan to attempt a weekly update schedule. Upload Sunday evening(for me). Warning! This story will involve some amount of cussing to help add some realism and some insinuated sex that will fade to black the moment the fun begins. I am hoping to mostly keep this Rated PG-13 with maybe a few Chapters going rated-R due to language.

Ars Magica
Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)

Monstrous Path
This story is both dark and lighthearted, it will have a lot of deaths and gore scenes but not just for the sake of being edgy or something like that. Every being comes from someone’s life — a womb, an egg, the world, a God, and from itself. Then what about me? I came from a container, so what does that make me? Am I still a being? “I do not know — I want to understand — why?” This was my driving force to live when I opened my eyes, I had no need for food, I only needed to satiate my curiosity. But as I learned early on, life was not as simple as it seemed. Note: The Characters in this world would always have a reason for living, and the world moves not just because of the MC. This would also have a lot of tearjerking scenes (or so I would hope) Culture, Race, Government, and Language can and will be different and though some Races like Elves and Dwarves are present, please do not think that they are the same as every other.
