month later.
Heartbeat university, a universe of medical study with all the possible Islamic teachings and guidelines still, couldn't guarantee safety to the women folk.
"Say..Sayba.."
"No no Yazan no..I.. can't I'm dyi..."
"I SAID SHUT UP! CALM DOWN."
Sayba froze at the rigorous warning that dared her to sob again or continue talking nonsense.
Her grip tightened over the cellphone held against her ear, lips wobbling in gloominess due to her husband's such threatening voice.
She remained quiet for few seconds and upon not hearing anything said from the other side of the phone from Yazan, another fear filled whimper escaped her mouth.
Yazan sighed at this, regretting his reaction.
"Love...listen to me, hmm?"
He lovingly said.
"Hm..hmm.."
"You need to be brave and save her, you need to stop crying." Yazan instructed.
She wiped her tears and was about to response in the positive but another scream roared in her eardrums resulting her tremoring to the core.
"Yazaannn...com..come soon...he will..rape her..."
Sayba whispered struggling to hold back her hiccups and sobs, tightly hugging her body to a ball.
She was reading in the library ignoring how hours passed and the whole university emptied.
Now that she realized she had to leave, learnt that she got locked in here mistakenly along with a girl forcefully trapped, begging for mercy from the guy she rejected and now brought here to have his ways.
"Yazan..."
"My lioness...hushh...I..I am just coming..but you need to show up sweetheart, just go and hit him from behind or distract him..please Sayba?"
Yazan calmly spoke hiding his agitation, driving as fast as possible.
"I..can't...she..she is so helpless like me...she isn't fighting ba..back..if..if I go out he'll...."
"Love, despite being there you're not going out to help. Please Sayba, I'll reach within minutes, you both will be fine just...stand brave."

"I couldn't help myself..how will I hel.."
"Tighten your faith, you can, just go out."
Sayba took a minute to get over her tears and overpowered her suffocation.
"Some..body help.. please help."
Helpless whines of the girl reminded her of herself being in the same situations for months over months.
She inhaled in a deep breathe and stood up deciding to fulfil her duty and not hide at a side like a looser.
"Sayba?"
"How..how do I distract him?"
"I love you so much wifey, that's like it. Tell him you're live and everyone's seeing them, can you?"
By now Yazan got down the car and ran out for his destination.
"Hmm...hmm.."
Sayba began to recite Duas while detaching the phone from her ear and held it in front making her way towards the area she was hearing their voices from.
"I truly loved you and you kicked me off, bitch...."
The guy's voice sounded repulsive to her as she entered in, immediately taking the attention of the crying pair of eyes crumbled in a corner.
Her breathe hitched finding the girl not defensing herself to the guy's touch.
As if she already got rescued, her quivering lips formed a smile of relief and gratitude to Sayba.
The boy stepped back from her and stood up to undo his pants when he sensed a presence behind him.
So he turned around to Sayba, causing her shiver like a leaf in storm but as she looked into the sinful eyes, she gained courage to still stand.
"Come on...shit..."
He cursed looking down at the phone in her hands, a murderous glare displayed in his expression.
Sayba gazed down at the girl, having her smile so serenely in joy brought her beaming in return.
"I'm sorry lady you weren't invited in."

The guy rushed to her but before he could make any contact, Sayba's foot automatically flew up kicking in between his legs.
"Aah.."
Her eyes widened at her own unplanned action which brought the guy groaning like an wild hurt animal.
She took it as a good chance and did the same again, this time harder.
"How disgusting you are!"
She seethed slapping across his face.
"Ohh am I?"
He smirked even not being over the pain. Sayba nodded her head in affirmative and planned for another shot but got caught in his arms.
He held her in a way she neither could move out nor take any chance to hit anyhow.
"Nn...o..aa.."
"You should have warned yourself of it."
He swiftly revealed her face pulling the Niqab off while yet struggling she hopefully stared at the front waiting for his arrival.
"HANDS OFF MY WIFE."
Yazan roared rushing there like typhoon and abruptly grabbed Sayba away, followed by the guy in his hold and devouring him with merciless punches in his jaw, snapping his neck at last.
Sayba ran to the girl pulling her to a protective hug as she wept but couldn't even hug back due to the drug causing weakness.
"Tha..thank..you..so much!"

"Yazan wake up."
Sayba almost cried in annoyance failing for the umpteenth time to wake her husband up while she herself fought with sleepiness to keep her eyes unclosed.
"Mmm umm."
He digged his face more into the pillow, inviting another kick in his back from his wife.
"Aarghhh!"
At last she decided to pick the call up which was the bitter reason to disturb them at the middle of the night.
"Yazan you nee..."
"He's not waking up, I tried, he's not. Is it too urgent?"
She asked cutting Iffaz off, yet kept kicking Yazan but he made no bare movement.
"It really is. Try again?"
She huffed taking her legs back and thought of trying in a decent way.
Leaning to his ear, she first kissed the side of his cheek while caressing his jaw and with the other hand ran her fingers through his silky locks.
"Yazan...you kicked me off the bed!"
With a kiss in his beard, she lied the words out.
She noticed creases forming in between his brows, followed by his eyes opening then he immediately sat up, his messy hair all around the forehead as he looked at her questioningly.
"I...are you hurt?"
"No, I lied, Iffaz called for 10 times at least, speak."
She threw the phone and laid back on her place turning her back to him, hugging her human sized pillow tightly with no interest in knowing what her husband's needed for at this hour.
"Faazi I was not dancing in the middle of the night......ohh, right now?"
Ending the conversation short, he shifted to Sayba enclasping her in his arms.
"Hey, you slept?"
"Hmm..."
"Sawda's pregnant."
He said nuzzling in her nape.
"I know hubby...sleep!"
"I've to go to Islamabad for a week in place of Iffaz, now, now means my flight is in an hour."
Her peace consumed slumber vanished in a jolt hearing the words. She instantly turned around coming in contact with his gaze.
Yazan passed her a helpless smile before leaning in to press his lips against her forehead which she replaced next with her mouth.
"Take me with you?"
"You've just started your classes, sweetheart. It's about only a week."

Beast
A threat to the galaxy has come from another, and the Union of intelligent life will go to any length to stop it. Military Quarantine has held for hundreds of thousands of cycles. Traders, merchants, colonists, and Pirates live risky lives along the fringes as the politics from the inner systems fail to see the larger threats beyond their borders. A lone human finds himself far from home with no memories to how he arrived. A failing Trade vessel plays on a desperate gamble, while a malicious parasite searches for a suitable host. ............................................. Author's note: Beast is a story that I wrote a long, long time ago. Some of you might have read it then, back when it was posted on reddit over at r/HFY. It was my first webfiction and made in the spirit of that subreddit's "genre" of humanity being awesome. But, it is also a story that has bothered me a little bit. Just like most new writers tend to do, I made mistakes and errors that feel painful to reread. A Space Opera will be a Space Opera, but I had prose that makes present-me cringe. Still, at the same time, the story is still very much a tale I've never given up on. It was my first adventure into fiction: Beast was a crazy adventure with bodysnatching aliens, galactic war, threats from across the universe... Posting this story here is a way to try and redeem myself a bit. I won't call it a complete rewrite, because it's not, but I have wanted to go through and correct some of the major issues Beast has for a long time and put it somewhere more accessible to read (instead of as posts/comments on reddit) and I figure that now is as good a time as any. Additional corrections you might notice are welcome.

Chains of Dominion
If Jake wins the local Fantasy Tactics Online tournament, he’ll have everything he’s ever dreamed of — a ticket out of town and the attention of a beautiful woman. However, this woman has more planned for him than a bus ride to the local metropolis. She teleports him back to her Realm and declares him her Master… and says it’s up to him to save the world. No pressure. Rival Dominions vie for power, and they are all far larger and more organized than Jake’s rag-tag group of women, but he has two advantages: the rules of this world are eerily similar to those of Fantasy Tactics Online, and his wildest dirtiest sexual fantasies act as a power multiplier for his all-female army. Warning: The heroes have intense tactical battles, wild kinky sex, and near-constant flirtation. The villains are disturbing and cruel. If the idea of villains doing bad things bothers you, please do not read books ever, but especially don’t read this one.

The Fall
Perhaps the most well known of all devils, demons, or fallen angels is the one known as Lucifer, Satan, the Father of Lies. The cultural influence of this figure throughout history is by no means small. Despite that, it wasn’t until the time of Milton’s classic – Paradise Lost – that we saw an attempt to portray a dramatized version of the events leading to this figure’s fall from grace and power. And while this is the case, Paradise Lost is not about Lucifer – though it goes into great detail about his potential musings. No, Paradise Lost was, and still is, about the fall of mankind. So, in light of this, and the feeling that the classical story deserved another telling, I present to you all The Fall – a story focused particularly on Lucifer’s fall from grace and his musings both before and after.
