"LEAVE ME!
Just leave me alone please, let me stay alone for few seconds at least...Bhai... please let..me go."
Mayrah yelled in her hoarse voice coughing in between, tears flowing down her eyes, her hands pulling her hair in frustration.
"Mayrah...listen to me, what's wrong? Calm down please. Mayrah."
Musa tried to keep her hands locked down but she forced him back and cried closing her eyes.
"I can't... tolerate...it. Is..Isaaa." She fell down on the floor and held her mouth with her hands to stop herself from groaning.
Everyone stood in their places numb, occasionally looking at the direction of the door waiting for Isaa to come back from the hospital.
"I hate to see your faces like that."
She seethed looking at them with rage though is angry at herself.
With her eyes bloodred, her face glowed pale having her own nails scratches in her cheeks.
Her chest tightened at the pain which spread all over her body. It felt either of intense ice cold water freezing her or very heated fire burning her.
"May... Mayrah...love..."
Isaa entered running to her, he fell on his knees and took her face in his hands, airing her with his warm breathe.
"Arrghh! You shouldn't have given me those medicines, why are you doing all that intentionally?"
She yelled forcing him back with the little courage she has.
His eyes widened for a second noticing hatred in her eyes for him.
But he's helpless, he must go on hurting her intentionally like she said, just for the sake of not letting this pain remain for eternity.
He rubbed his eyes before turning his heads to others who stared back at him with the same helplessness he held.
"Isaaaaaaaa! To room....to room."
She grabbed him by his collar hiding herself in his warmth.
He immediately picked her up and made his way to their bedroom.
"Relax baby, Calm down." He whispered to her ear, caressing her back as he made her sit in the bed.
"Something's hurting within me
..a lot..very?" She complained wobbling her lips as tears rained down her eyes.
"It'll be fine. But you don't yell at all like that."
"Then what would I do? I don't like them always near me. I don't want to stay with anyone.
You've intentionally made me take those pills, why? I was fine till you came. It didn't hurt that much."
He warmly smiled at her instead of choosing to give her the same answer for thousand times.
"I love you, you know that?"
Kissing her forehead, he gently rubbed her cheeks.
"I love you....
They always stay around me. I just...don't...like them worried for no reason."
"You've hurt yourself, love, they were by you for that."
"I...I.. don't want to stay with them....just being a burden."
She wiped her tears in his shirt thinking of the harsh words she has said to her family.
"They are all we have Mayrah, what's wrong with you, you're no burden to anyone."
He spoke tying her hair in a messy bun.
"I don't know, I just don't want them around me."
"And me? You want me right?"

"Isaa......." She hit his arm and rested her head on his chest with her hand brushing his beard.
It's just him to whom she doesn't feel to be any burden.
It's just him to whom she finds her heart resting even if she's intensely in pain.
Half an hour passed as Mayrah slept making him relived.
He moved back from her placing a pillow under her head.
He filled in the syringe and came forward, resting his forehead against hers, he made sure to not cause disturbance before injecting her.
••••
My sleep broke hearing her cry. I took the hold of my phone and turned on the flashlight to find her sitting with her hands covering her face, as if she's scared.
"Aaaaaaaa...mmm!"
"...Mayrah...sssh..." She abruptly climbed up on my lap as I kept the phone down and caressed her hair. She seemed horrified, shivering like a leaf.
"You're supposed to wake me up if you're scared."
She nodded her head and held my arm tightly.
"Th... there's..some.. someone." She murmured pointing her finger to the way of balcony.
I turned my head, there's nothing but only shades of light coming from outside.
"There's nothing sweetheart. Why are you crying?"
I tried to make her face me but she kept her gaze fixed over that direction, as if there's really someone she's seeing.
"Mayrah?"
"Who...who are you?" She snapped making me confused.
"There's nobody Mayrah. It's only you and me."
"Can't you see him? He's...who...who is he?" She asked turning to me as if I know.
I moved to turn on the lights, she tightly grabbed my hand disallowing distance between us.
"I'm here love, just here with you."
Managing to turn the bedside lamp on, I looked at her, who's still glancing at the balcony's direction.
"Look, there's no one."
"There is.....see..." She whispered gripping my shirt in her fist.
"You're hallucinating. Come ne....."
"Isaa turn off the lights." She said cutting me off. I did so and laid down. Immediately when I was about to set her on top of me, she forced me back and got off the bed.
Allah!
"MAYRAH?"
"Move..move back....Nooo....Aahhh....That was you right? Why did you do so?"
She cried accusing me for what I don't know.
Why is she behaving like this!
What did I miss to not expect such things to happen?
"You shouldn't at least do that Isaa."
"I...I ..did nothing.. Mayrah."
"Why am I even here with you?" Before I could stop her she left our room.
I followed her soon but she reached to Musa's room and knocked there, looking at me in fear and with hatred as I stood in a distance.
"Listen to me, what did I do? It's midnight Mayrah. We'll talk about it, come with me."
"Bhaaiii...open the door."
"Mayrah..." As the door opened she immediately threw herself to him.
Musa turned to me, questioningly staring for an answer to her behavior.
"Uhh...I..I don't know."
I felt my body shivering when I walked near her. She hid her face on his chest making me more tensed.
Nora bhabi tried to pull her back but she stayed in his embrace for long few minutes.

"Mayrah? What's wrong?""
"Bhai, I don't want to stay with him."
"What did he do?"
"Can I sleep with you?" She asked, surely unaware of her words and actions.
Musa looked at me at which I nodded my head to take her in.
"Can I come in Bhabi?"
"Yes...yes you can sleep in here." Mayrah nodded, eyeing at me.
"Come in." They both walked inside leaving me and Musa staring at each other thinking of what to do now.
"What happened?"
"I really don't know. She...acts weird." I lowered my gaze feeling guilty for not knowing anything about this from before.
"Let her sleep. I'll bring her back to you."
"Wait a minute. Can you inject her on her left arm? She'll be unconscious then."
"Sure."
I ran to our room to prepare the syringe and hurried back to hand it to him.
He called me in 5 minutes later.
Going inside, I found her laid down in the couch.
My heart ached seeing her like this, anyone would say that she's being harassed for years.
"Have a good night, Isaa."
Day by day such things happen which I didn't even know are supposed to occur.
That is why I said I won't be able to do this.......
••••
"Just give that hospital's profit as charity to all whom you know are in need of it." Isaa said to his assistant and cut the call.
Shaking his head, which pained a lot out of his control to bear, he walked in and locked the door of his bedroom.
"Good morning, little heart."
He walked to the bed seeking her attention as she was busy looking outside the window.
"Morning Doctor."
She jumped on his lap resting her head against his chest. He began caressing her back so softly making her smile in pleasure as she found herself sleepy again.
"How're you feeling now?"
"I...I'm fine but you look so sick."
She mumbled in a guilty voice rubbing his red nose as he chuckled and leaned in to peck her cheek.
"I'm alright."
"What's the time?"
"Around 8."
"Then let's rest a little." She said pulling him up on the bed and made him rest his head on her lap.
"In mood of romance hmm....."
He found peace and delight engulfing his tiredness as she began running her fingers on his hair.
He closed his eyes and urged her to continue.
"Aani said that you look pale and your nose turns red when you get headache." She said causing him nod in reply.
"Do that more." He said when he felt her hand slipping away. Mayrah giggled leaning down and kissed his forehead.
She busily kept doing so not realizing when he slept.
Her hands caressed his whole face as she admired his handsomeness.
She took her phone kept near the pillow and took few of his pictures, she then decided to take selfie with him as she leaned forward and looked at herself through the front camera.
Her smile died seeing her dead face, noticing how bad she looks.
She angrily kept the phone back and tried to get off the bed but just then her mouth filled with blood that she threw up and began gasping for air.
"Mayrah!" Isaa woke up in a jolt and helped her to stay on her balance.
She looked down at the floor messy in her blood. Her eyes became teary feeling a sharp pain running down her throat.
"Are you okay?" He asked rubbing her chest and grabbed a tissue to wipe her mouth.
"I'm sorry, I broke your sleep."
"Mm...no...do you feel better after bleeding or...."
"Better, relaxed."
She answered warmly smiling.
"Water." He nodded and made her drink water.
Then they both again laid on the bed.
"Will you do that again? I want that." Isaa pleaded grinning at her like a baby.
"I'll do that always now on then."
"I love you."
"I love you more."
He shifted to her lap as she massaged his forehead with one hand and ruffled his hair with another.
He again slept within few minutes.
Getting hungry, she replaced a pillow under his head and moved back to leave.
"Abbu, Chachu." She ran to the garden finding them reading newspapers.
"You are up! Today isn't he running after you for that bitter juice?" Her Abbu asked looking behind her as she sat near Isaa's Abbu and rested her head on his shoulder.
"He's tired, he's sleeping."
"My princess looks so happy and beautiful today!" Her Chachu said caressing her hair as she looked at him shaking her head.
"Look at me, I look ugly."
"Aaahh no! You look like your grandma, cute!"
Mayrah suddenly felt her throat drying as her smile vanished. She excused herself and ran to the washroom. Staring at her reflection from the mirror, she let her tears flow down giving all her negative thoughts haunt her happiness.
••••
"Body massage? Are you serious?"
"I am."
"Like those spa, salon, parlour?"
"Yeah baby, kind of relaxation for bones and blood flow." Isaa replied as Mayrah fed another morsel of rice to him.
"By whom?"
"By me of course."
"Wait wait, that's a full body massage right?"
"Yeah yeah yeah yeah yea......"
"Shameless piece of my family,
don't you feel ashamed of saying this to your patient?"
Mayrah murderously glared at him as he chuckled and chewed his food.
"I'm your husband if you forgot."
"But you'll do that to me as a doctor."
She bit her lip controlling her sheepish smile.
"Yeah obviously."
"Which doctor gives body massage naming it a therapy?"
"The doctor who's also a husband to his patient."
Isaa winked brushing his nose against hers. She stepped back and kept the plate of rice on the table and turned back to him.
"You really don't need to do that."
"I'm the doctor, rules are mine, kindly obey or else......"
"Or else?"
"I may do something worse you know."
"Oh really. I'm ready for something worst then."
She confidently said making him laugh out loud.
"Will...it..he..lp me to..feel and look well... nice"
"Yes. So shall I take it as a yes?"
"Yes but...I mean really, can you do this?"
She asked as if that's a very big thing to work on.
"Come on, I'm the best in everything okay? I'll do that so gent...."
"Are you meaning to say that you've done that to other so called patients who might be girls too?"
"Astagfirullah nooo! When did I say this?"
"Yesss!"
"Shut up!"

Ursus Ex Machina
Ozzy was a man of the wild. Raised in a remote village atop the world's mightiest mountain, he'd been taught to respect and revere the natural world. The realm he was born into had been there long before him, and it would remain there long after him. Sure, there was the occasional madman who threatened to destroy it, but such boasts were always empty. No one individual was actually capable of demolishing this beautiful blue-and-green ball Ozzy called home. No matter what terrible magics these villains wielded, they were incapable of causing permanent harm to the environment. Even if the planet was completely devastated, it would recover. Life would find a way to flourish, same as it always had. That was what Ozzy believed from the bottom of his heart, so he never once felt the need to save the world he loved. After all, it was never truly in danger. The world would be fine no matter what. The people were a wee bit endangered, but that was another story altogether. However, what would happen if Ozzy suddenly found himself devoid of his beloved wilds? What would the man do if the realm he knew - one of wonder, magic, and chaos - was replaced with a man-made environment of concrete, industry, and steam? Ozzy could never imagine such a thing happening, and yet that was his new reality. After losing a fateful confrontation with a mad wizard, he and his friends found themselves transported to a strange world so thoroughly alien that every waking moment feels like a fever dream. Separated and scattered to the four corners of this land, each of these adventurers will need to adapt, survive, and overcome if they hope to reunite. They would also need to do so quickly. The sooner they are able to find one another, the sooner they can figure out a way back home and have another crack at putting an end to the villain's plans. Whether such a thing was actually possible in a world with barely any magic in it was a valid concern, but Ozzy had more immediate things to worry about. For instance, why did the air smell like a perpetual forest fire? How did ships sail through the sky as if it were water? And most importantly, was the pavement he was hurtling towards at high speed much softer than it looked? Probably not, but a man could hope.
