I sighed Riley was coming over soon and I sent Mikasa with hanji for two reasons. One for the plan and two because Riley was coming.

I was on the couch texting hanji because I wanted to enjoy some peace before doing this.

-how are the kids?

-good, we are exploring the city

-that sounds interesting just be careful

-im doing fine enjoying the quietness

-well I hope it goes well for you

-well I gtg Eren is wanting us to go somewhere new, love you!

I turned off my phone and sighed I went to my room. I opened my drawer and took out the ring box and smiled....

Oh please hanji....please say yes.... I love you with all my heart so please say yes....

I opened the box and looked at the ring I hope she likes it....

My moment was ruined when I heard my doorbell ring. I sighed and placed the ring box back in my drawer and shut it heading to the door.

I opened it and Riley was there holding some paperwork.

I sigh "alright come in" I let her in and she looked around the place.

"What have you been doing Levi?...." She asked surprised.

"When you left I kept working at my job then progressively climbed the ranks of the business and became the boss nothing really"

She laughed "you have changed haven't you...."

I shrugged "why does it matter lets just get this over with I'm on a tight schedule"

She nods and we go the kitchen table and she hands me the paperwork.

"Just look through that and we should be good to go, I already dealt with the lawyer and mediator"

I nod and start reading, the silence is Killing me then I heard her say something that utterly shocked me.

"Levi....I'm sorry I know it's kinda late for this but I wasn't in my right self back then honestly we were young and I panicked....I'm glad you kept the kid"

I shrug "your the one who gave birth I just convinced you to keep it"

She nods "yeah but still Its best if you know...."

I sigh "thanks.... and maybe it was for the best of us move on you know"

She nods "agreed....so Levi have you started dating?"

I nod "yup met an amazing woman"

"How seriou-"

"I plan on marrying on her, tonight I'm going to propose"

Riley nods "well good for you I'm happy you met someone better than me"

"What about you huh?"

She shrugs "I'm getting married once these papers are signed"

I nod "is that why you came? Because I completely forgot about a divorce"

She nods "yeah me and my fiance can't get legally get married until me and you get a divorce"

"Same for me so I guess its a win win huh"

"Yep"

I finished reading then started signing.

"So hows Mikasa? She asked.

"Good she had a hard time in the beginning when I tried dating other woman then when I met hanji my girlfriend, Mikasa became attached so I just new hanji could be the one"

Riley nods "so tell me more about hanji"

"She's a kind woman great with kids considering she had two boys shes smart... trustworthy.... Funny and overall an amazing person....I love her with all my heart and I hope she says yes to my proposal"

Riley smiles "well if what your saying is true then you have a very high chance of her saying yes"

"Thanks...."

I finish signing the last paper and handed her the paperwork.

"There you go"

She took it and smiled "thanks Levi"

I nod and we walk to the door she was about to leave then she looked at me.

"Tell Mikasa I'm sorry....I'm sorry I was a terrible mother..."

I nod "will do"

She waved goodbye gets in her car and leaves.... that was surprising....she must have changed over the years....

Now that I got that out of the way it was time to start making me and Hanjis special dinner.

Eren, Mikasa and Armin were wanting to go everywhere today. First it was the park then we went to some stores they liked and now we are going to a cafe to get something to drink.

I ordered a coffee while I got the kids some chocolate milk. We were having a great day today.

When we finished our little pit stop Eren jumped out of his seat and ran to the door he wasn't paying attention and he ran into a woman who was holding some coffee.

"Eren watch out!"

The woman was unbalanced but she held her coffee tight so it wouldn't spill on Eren but it spilled on her a little bit.

"I'm so sorry ma'am" I rushed over to get some napkins.

She smiled "oh no it's fine I'm just glad it didn't land on your kid"

I smiled in relief as I handed her the napkins I looked at Eren with a serious face.

He had a sad one then looked at the woman "I'm sorry miss...."

She smiled "please it's fine are you ok" she said looking at Eren.

He nods then hides behind me worried.

"Well thank you um?"

"Hanji" I smiled showing my hand.

She shakes it "thank you Hanji" here face then changes to her realizing something.

"Wait you are Levis girlfriend?"

I nod "yeah... and you are?"

"I'm his ex...."

My eyes widened so this was her....

She smiles "I can see why he likes you"

"What do you mean?"

"Your buetiful and kind I mean that's a win for him" I smiled too.

"Thanks.."

She sighs "well I'll be going please take care of him because I failed at doing that"

I nod "I will"

She looks at Mikasa and has a weak smile then bends down to her level.

"Mikasa you don't have to like me because of what I did and just know the woman your daddy found will be a better mother figure than me....I'm sorry I was a terrible mother" she stood back up and left.

I looked at Mikasa who was crying she looked at me and I smiled I picked her up and held her close.

We continued our day and decided to go back home....
