I found the best work outfit I could I refused to wear a skirt so I chose a white button down and some black tight trousers.

I finished getting ready and Armin and eren were waiting on me. We got in the car and I dropped them off. I drove to my new work office this was my first time Actually meeting my boss I only heard story's about how successful he is.

When I arrived I saw the a woman bursting out the doors having a cuss storm at the other employees....she kept saying how fucked up they were for not giving her, her last pay check.

I walked inside to see a tired employee rubbing her head.

"Hello are you ok?" I asked.

She looked up and smiled "oh welcome sorry about what just happened are you miss Zoe?" She said giving a weak smile.

I nodded "ok will you just follow me and we can go meet Mr. Ackerman" she said walking to the phone.

I saw her pick it up.

"Hello Mr Ackerman Mrs. Zoe is here..........ok we are on our way" she hung up and signaled me to the elevator.

We got in the elevator and she let out a sigh of relief.

"I am terribly sorry you had to see that Mrs. Zoe...." She said

I smiled "hey it's ok I've seen worse office quiter's in my old office building" I said Trying to cheer her up.

"Yeah but she was the old manager she quit yesterday but came back having a fit because we didn't give her the paycheck for This week since she quit early" the woman admitted.

I widened my eyes "oh...I'm sorry you went through that" I said.

"Its ok happend with the past three managers....." She sighed.

The elevator dinged and she told me to follow her.

I passed many offices with tired workers....we reached a huge empty office.

"This will be your office" she said.

My eyes widened this was my office???? I nodded and examined my huge office.

She smiled then glanced at her watch and then freaked out.

"Ah Mrs hanji we are late please follow me"

I followed her and we arrived at another huge office.

The girl knocked on the door.

"Come in" I heard a man say on the other side.

We walked in to see a man finishing his papers.

"I apologise for our tardyness Mr. Ackerman"

"Its fine Mrs. Ral now please go return to work" he said coldly.

The girl nodded and left the room.

I looked at the man who stood up and sighed.

"You are Mrs. Zoe right" he said crossing his arms.

I nodded "yes sir".

He nodded then started walking twords me.....he was A MIDGET!

I held in my snickers and tried to give him a straight face. he approached me and I looked down and smiled.

He tched and held out his hand "please to meet you Mrs Zoe"

I took his hand "you too Mr. Ackerman"

I was dying inside from laughter....I don't know why but I found his height pretty hilarious.

He sighed "if your gonna laugh about my height then just let it out your face looks crappy"

I snickered "I'm sorry sir I won't mention your height while I work here"

He glared at me then sighed "now that introductions are our of the way let's get down to business" he said sitting back down at his desk.

"Whats my first assignment?" I asked.

He pushed some papers on his desk twords me. "I need you to look through these papers and put your signature on them"

I nodded and picked up the stack of papers and started to leave.

"Wait Mrs Zoe one more thing" he said stopping me.

I turned around"yes sir?"

"Your second assignment is to pick up my daughter after school I filled out her paperwork of when she needs to be picked up and where" he explained.

I sighed "I'll see if it works when I pick up my kiddos sir" I sighed.

He glared at me "either you can pick her up or not Mrs Zoe...." He said coldly.

I just left, I was frustrated but at the same time I had to keep my cool I looked at when she needed to be picked up and where.

My eyes widened....she went to the same school as Eren and armin...WAIT Mikasa....that's armin's and Eren's new friend.

I smiled atleast I know who she is and Maybe I could pick up eren and Armin as well....

A few hours later

It was almost time to go pick up Mikasa I walked to mr. Ackermans office and knocked.

"Come in" he said as I walked in.

"Yes Mrs. Zoe?" He said looking up at me.

"Sir I was wondering if I could pick up my kiddos are the same time as your daughter as I read I have already met her and Im pretty sure she's the one friends with my kiddos" I explained.

He stared at me wide eyed and then shook his head.

"Yeah that's fine" he said returning to his work.

I lifted an eyebrow and left....that was kinda weird....

I drove to the elementary school and saw Eren and Armin talking to Mikasa.

I walked out and greeted them. "Hey kiddos"

They looked at me and smiled "hey mama!" Armin and eren said running to me.

I hugged them and saw Mikasa looking at us a little sad....

I smiled "Mikasa I will be taking you home today" I walked up to her and bent down to her level.

She looked at me wide eyed "did daddy hire you?" She asked.

I nodded "your dad is Mr. Ackerman correct?" I asked.

She smiled and nodded "ya that's him".

I ruffled her hair "we should get going don't you think?"I said smiling.

She nodded as we got in the car.

The kiddos sat in the back talking and laughing amongst eachother.

We arrived at the house Mr Ackerman told me to go to.

We arrived and I walked Mikasa to the door and knocked hoping someone was home....

"No one's home....daddy doesn't come home till later" she said looking at me.

I looked at her worriedly "do you stay here by yourself?" I asked.

She nodded "I'm used to it....the woman before you just left me here....I'll be fine Mrs zoe" she sighed.

I shook my head "well I'm not leaving you here by yourself do you want me to stay?" I asked.

She looked up at me surprised and then nodded....

I smiled "I'll go tell Eren and Armin" as I left to go get them.

We walked in the house and it was very neat and clean.

"Wow Mikasa you live here" Eren said astonished.

Mikasa nodded.

They sat in the couch and I sat next to them.

"I have some toys in my room if y'all want to go play" Mikasa said to Eren and armin.

They nodded and then looked at me "can we go play with Mikasa?" Armin asked.

I smiled "ofcoarse you can go ahead" I said ruffling his hair.

They smiled and the three of them took off to Mikasa's room.

I thought about what Mikasa said how the woman before me left her here....poor child......
