Levina's POV

After showering and packing Lucifer and I stood in front of Hades door, Cass in my arms. Seph opened the door, "Hi sweetie come in. Des and Bee are already here. You can put Cass with his siblings." Dropping Cass in the nursery and giving Shadow some love I found everyone in the living room.

"So, I hear we have two babies on the way now?" Hades asked to Bee. "Couldn't let Luce be in the spotlight?" He said jokingly.

"No of course not his ego is big enough." Bee shot back and I shook my head as I draped myself on Lucifer's lap.

"I like his big ego." I said with a straight face right to Bee while Lucifer choked on the sip of whiskey he had just taken.

Meanwhile everyone else burst out laughing, "Oh hunny we know. That's how you have that little heir growing in there." Des pointed to my bump.

I shook my head at him but Lucifer ran a soft hand over it, "Bee and I should get going love. I'll be back tonight." Nodding, I stood from his lap, he stood and pulled me tightly into his arms. "If you need me just text me."

"We'll be fine da... we'll be fine." I said almost calling him daddy.

Lucifer gave me a small smile and then cupped my cheek. "Be good we'll be back." I nodded and in the next blink him and Bee were gone.

"Come here sweetie, this isn't prison we just all want you and baby safe." Seph pulled me down next to her. "We can watch movies and gossip and do spa things." Des nodded as he moved closer to us.

Hades stood and kissed Seph on the top of her head, "I'll go get snacks. You two craving anything?"

"Pickles!" Des and I said at the same time.

Hades and Seph laughed, "I'll be back."

After snacks and two movies I was ready for a nap. From the looks of it so we're Des and Persephone. "I'm going to grab Cass and take a nap. You two can keep going." Hades had gone off halfway through the first movie to do whatever. So, I went to the nursery to grab my baby. Cass immediately came up to me, "Hey you want to take a nap with me?"

Yes!

I scooped him up and went off to the room Seph gave me, I curled up with Cass in my arms and was out within seconds.

Seth's voice was not what I wanted to hear while I was dreaming. "So, my dad finally maned up and mated you." When I turned around, he was as blurry as last time. "No matter we can break that little bond and then I'll break you."

"That will never happen." In this state he must not be able to tell I'm pregnant which is good we'll keep it that way.

"We'll see about that you little bitch!" He ran at me as I shot up my hand, a pulse of power went out and hit him square in the chest. As soon as it him, I saw him collapse and the dream ended as I gasped awake.

Cass was standing looking at me concerned and I pulled him into my arms. "It's okay baby. I'm okay." Rocking back and forth with him in my arms, that's how Lucifer found me.

"Love?" He dropped to his knees next to the bed. "What happened?" Lucifer cupped my cheek to make me look at him.

"Seth showed up in my dreams again, but this time I hit him with a pulse of power. He collapsed and then the dream ended."

Lucifer was quiet for a minute then his face changed to pure joy, "Levina! That means you actually hurt him! My mate is a badass!" I rolled my eyes at him and finally let Cass go.

"I don't know what I hit him with, he never seems physical in my dreams. How could I have hurt him?" I asked as he picked me up to cuddle me.

"You hurt his essence, wounding his soul, his own power." Lucifer gently squeezes me, "I'm so proud of you." As if to agree the baby sends out a pulse too. "And you protected our baby. Did he notice?"

"No, I don't think so, he only commented on you finally mating me. He never said anything about the baby."

Lucifer caresses my belly and then kisses my temple, "Good let's keep it that way."

After three days of being stuck at Hades and Persephone's with nothing really to do I was starting to get anxious. Pair that with my morning sickness which was all damn day, I was getting cranky. Meanwhile Des looked like he was glowing and was showing no signs of sickness. "Here sweetie I finally got these." Seph came and sat at the edge of my bed. "They're vitamins to help with the sickness. And I have some toast going right now."

"Thank you." I said softly as I swallowed the vitamins with some water. Seph hastened away and was back within seconds with my buttered toast. "Were you this sick?" I asked as I nibbled on my toast.

"No, I'm sorry I wasn't." I shrugged and Seph patted my shoulder as she got up to leave.

As I was finishing my toast Lucifer's presence filled the room before I looked up at him. "Hey baby girl." He scooped me up, setting me across his lap as he sat back against the headboard. "How are you feeling?"

I sighed, leaning my head against his shoulder while he ran a soothing hand up and down my back. "Tired and still a little nauseous." Relaxing further into him, I sighed again, "How was your day? Any updates?"

I could feel Lucifer's joy before he spoke, through our bond. "The army love, I wish you could see it. Practically every able-bodied demon has stepped forward to help protect you. After we defeat Seth, I think we ought to have a proper coronation. Introduce you to the kingdom."

Nodding along, that sounded fine, "But the baby?"

"By then anyone who dares think to cross me will rethink their intentions after I obliterate Seth. They should not be tempted to harm you or the baby." He caressed my stomach while he spoke. "And if they do, I'll kill them." I shouldn't have been turned on by that but of course I was. The touch her or die trope was always one of my favorites. "Baby girl behave." Lucifer warned.

"You're the one promising death for protection and I'm NOT supposed to react?" I huffed and moved so I could pout up at him.

"You test my control that I've built for eons." He argued back and I just smiled at him. Then his expression softened, "Even if we were home. You've been so sick; you have no energy." I sat further back to argue but he stopped me with a kiss and I lost my train of thought. "Yeah, that's what I thought." He chuckled at me then settled me back against him.

Apparently, I had fallen asleep in Lucifer's arms but I woke when I heard a crashing noise. Lucifer woke too tensing, "Luce?"

"Seth's here. It's not possible." His anger was almost visible. "I can't leave you alone. But I don't want him near you."

Dressing me in a black dress he pulled me to the living room where Hades, Seph, Bee, and Des were all standing. "What do you want to do Luce?" Hades asked.

"Is it just him?" Lucifer was tense as he held me against him.

"As far as we can see."

"What's his game?" Lucifer spoke to himself but looked ready to attack then turned to Hades. "You, me, and Bee go out and see what he wants. Levina, Seph, and Des will stay inside." I had already turned to argue, "No. No arguments." I nodded knowing not to push him right now. "Thank you." He cupped my cheek and gave me a kiss on the forehead before sweeping out the door with Bee and Hades on his heels.

Seph and Des sandwiched me between in an instant. "It's going to be okay." Seph murmured and she rubbed my back.

But the dread building in me was palpable.
