Levina's POV

It was finally puppy day! I got to bring home my little man! I was practically vibrating on Lucifer's arm. "Are you excited baby girl?"

"Yes daddy!" He smiled down at me as he snapped us to Hades' house.

"Have you picked out a name yet?" He asked as he knocked on the door.

"It's a surprise. I want to ask Shadow first but you'll have to tell me if she approves." Lucifer just let out a chuckle.

"Yes, love whatever you want." Just then Hades opens the door.

"I don't think you have what I want, I'll leave that to Seph." Hades joked and I shook my head but moved to kiss his cheek. "How are you doing Levina?"

"I'm getting better thank you for asking. Where is your wife?" I asked looking around Seph was normally right on me as I entered.

"Outside watering her plants. She'll be in, in a minute. Go ahead and say hi to the pups." I squealed and dashed to the nursery.

Shadow and Cerberus were curled up together and the puppies were crawling around and playing with each other. "Hey mama," I came and sat next to Shadow and pet her then Cerberus. My baby came over and pawed at my lap, he was still the smallest so I picked him up and sat him on my lap. He was still extremely fluffy too; his face was all black except for a brown spot on his forehead. And then one small brown patch on his butt above his tail and then his paws were brown but the rest of him was black. "I have a name picked out for you my little munchkin."

Just then Lucifer and Hades came in. "Well let's hear it."

"So bossy." I murmured before picking up my fluffball so I could look into his face. "How does Cass sound?"

Lucifer groaned, "Like the angel Castiel? He's a prick."

I laughed, "No sorry love. Like daddy Cass from the Hades series by Tate James."

"You want to name our puppy after another dom?" Lucifer crossed his arms over his chest and looked down at me.

"He's fictional Lucifer."

"And has no doubt brought you pleasure." I raised an eyebrow at him.

"That would be Tate's writing. What did Shadow say?" Trying to get off this topic.

"So, you're admitting you pleasured yourself while reading."

"Yes, hundreds of times to different books. Including those books, I told you about in your office." I stood with Cass in my arms. "Remember? Now what did Shadow say about Cass' name?"

He frowned at me but looked towards Shadow, "They both love it."

"But if you don't, we can change it." I held Cass out to him and Lucifer cradled him to his chest.

"No Cass is a good name." He passed me back my puppy and I cuddled him close.

"He's still so tiny is he really ready to leave? I'm fine with him staying until he's strong enough." I asked Hades.

"Shadow and Cass both say he's ready. And he likes his name too." I stood on my tiptoes to kiss the corner of Lucifer's mouth but he grabbed me and kissed me full on, leaving me panting when we pulled apart.

"Well, that's new. I thought we told each other everything!" Seph's voice had me snapping out of my lusted haze.

"Sorry Seph, it just kind of happened. We haven't fully mated yet." I said softly avoiding everyone's eyes.

"And that's none of our business, I'm sorry sweetie for making you uncomfortable." I nodded but cuddled Cass closer. "Put Cass down and we'll have brunch."

I pouted, "Come on love put him down." Lucifer chided me and then I heard the click of his counter when I continued to pout.

"You bastard." Another click, "I feel like I should be warned that you have that."

"You should've known with your brattiness." Another click, "You're at three. You want to keep going?"

"Dammit." I kissed Cass on his fluffy forehead and put him back by Shadow then took Lucifer's out stretched hand.

"Lucifer leave her be." Seph tried chastising him but it didn't stop Lucifer from clicking.

"Seph, I love you but don't help again." She giggled when Lucifer wagged his eyebrows at me.

"No Seph please help more. Every count is a spank or a whip."

"Lucifer! They did not need to know that!" Hades was trying to fight his laugh. "Hades not one word."

"I think that's a count." Hades said to Lucifer completely ignoring me.

"I think you're right." Lucifer said as he clicked on his counter. I wanted to argue and fight back but I clamped my mouth shut, "Nothing to say baby girl?" I shook my head, "Good girl. Now let's eat."

Seph took my hand and lead me to the dining table. Hades had a full spread set out along with bottomless mimosas. "Dig in!"

Brunch went by smoothly, conversation flowed between the three but I felt like the outsider. So, I stayed quiet. When we were done eating, I collected Cass and said goodbye to Shadow and Cerberus. I carried Cass in my arms to the goodbye party. "Thank you for brunch," I said as I waved goodbye with Cass' paw.

As we walked out the door and down the street, I stayed quiet, "You're being awfully quiet for someone who just got a puppy."

I snuggled Cass' neck, "I am happy."

"Wow that was convincing, you were quiet at brunch too. Was it because of what was said beforehand?" Lucifer stopped us and looked down at me. "Levina look at me." I met his eyes, "You know that I won't act on any of this unless you consent to it. We'll come up with a safe word too. Okay?" I nodded but didn't trust my voice. "You're just so easy to tease baby girl."

"Yeah." I said in a small voice and kept walking but Lucifer stopped me again.

"I can't fix what I did wrong if you don't tell me." He pleaded with hurt eyes.

I swallowed and bit back tears, "You did nothing wrong. It's just me." I held Cass closer and buried my face in his fur, "I'm not good enough for you. I don't think I can be what you need."

The next thing I knew my back was against a brick wall and I looked up in shock at Lucifer. Who had me caged in with his hands on either side of my head on the wall. "Love, you are everything to me. We've had this argument before. It is I who isn't good enough for you. The king of hell, why should I deserve a mate, deserve happiness?"

"Stop. Now you sound like Seth." Lucifer growled and slammed his hand against the wall.

"Never compare me to him again." His growl was like a slap to the face and I cowered away from him.

I swallowed a few times before I got the words out. "I wasn't. I was just saying he said the same things. But fuck Lucifer! I fucking love you! We just met but from the moment you laid eyes on me in purgatory I knew I was done for. You claimed me and saved me time and time again. I just feel so lost in your world, like I'll never fit in with your friends. You all have done so many incredible things and the most I've ever done is read 300 books in one year."

One of his hands strayed to cup my cheek while the rest of his body pressed into mine. "My love, that is incredible too. They don't have to be big things to be incredible. I love your mind, not everyone has the capacity to read like that. And it benefits my selfish ass too because from what you've told me they have some great ideas."

I choked out a laugh but looked up at him, "There are some good ideas. I miss reading, I had so many on my tbr."

"Tbr?"

"To be read list." He laughed too as he pressed me harder into the wall, careful not to squish Cass.

"Okay love what do you need?" I looked at him with a question. "To read again. What do you need so I can be a selfish asshole to benefit from those dirty stories."

"Well, a kindle with my account so I had my list."

He snapped his fingers, "Done. It's at home when we get back."

"Aww you do love me." I kissed him softly.

"I love you more than anything baby girl." He kissed me so deeply I had to steady myself against the wall, "Now let's go to the pet store and get this little demon everything he needs before I take you against this wall." He leaned his forehead against mine, "And I really don't want our first time to be in a fucking alley."

"Yes daddy," But I couldn't help nuzzling his neck and kissing it.

He let out a loan groan, "Hold on to Cass tightly." I gripped my baby tighter as Lucifer transported us back to hell and right in front of a pet store.

"I still can't believe it's just like earth." I muttered as Cass tried to squirm out of my arms, "No baby not until I get you a leash. I don't need you getting hurt." When I got Cass settled, I looked at Lucifer, "What?"

He had a wistful look on his face, "Nothing. I just can't wait to see you be a mom." I blushed but walked into the pet store. "Let's get him a leash and collar first and then we can look at toys."

"So many things about that sentence could be misconstrued." I said with a smirk. "When do I get a collar?" I whispered.

Lucifer closed his eyes and breathed in then leaned in to whisper into my ear, "When you earn it baby girl."

"Okay daddy." I whispered back.

"Good girl, now go pick out his collar." I nodded and went to the collars.

Lucifer's POV

She asked me for a collar, a collar! Fuck me, if there had been any doubt that she was the one, this just solidified that. A collar! I know we have a way to go but damn! My cock was harder than it should be as I watched her hold up collar after collar to Cass' neck. Levina knelt on the floor by Cass and he looked so damn regal sitting there while she doted on him. You're loving this aren't you?

I asked him through his head and he just smiled up at me.

When she picked one out in a blue that went with her gray eyes, she put it around his neck. Then grabbed a simple black leash. "Now to the toys and then a bed!" They basically skipped to the toys where he sniffed every one until he picked out just two. A rubber squeaky toy and a soft stuffed moose that he carried in his mouth and was almost as big as him. "Just those two baby?"

Yes mommy. "He said yes." She pouted a little but nodded, "He also called you mommy." Levina's expression broke into one of pure happiness but tears were falling down her cheeks as she dropped to her knees to hug Cass. He just licked her cheek; she carried him and his moose over to the beds. Then she sat him down and he sniffed around again before hopping on a large fluffy blue one. I picked it up for them as she led Cass to the food. "Hades said to feed him a mix of dry food and raw meat so we'll grab him some good dry food and I can snap the rest." She nodded as I picked out the food Hades suggested. "Alright you two let's check out and go home."

After we were settled at home Levina and I laid in bed, Levina reading on her new kindle and I watching TV while Cass cuddled at the end of the bed with his moose. While she cuddled against me with her racoon tucked under her arm. I smiled to myself before tightening my hold on her, "You know you two are so similar."

She pulled back a little to look at me, "How so?"

I pointed to her stuffed animal and then his, "He hasn't chewed on that more than to carry it. It's his comfort toy like yours is. You both are spoiled as hell."

She huffed, "The spoiling of me is your fault. And the fact that I was an only child. But can you blame me daddy? No one spoiled me like this."

Fuck she had a point, and now I was mad. "You're right baby girl and I'm happy to spoil you." I kissed her quickly. Then tapped the top of her kindle, "Are you to a good part yet?"

"Can you smell my arousal?" I didn't need to take a sniff to know she wasn't turned on. Yet.

"No." I pouted as I ran my hands up her arms.

"I just started; they haven't gotten to the good parts yet. That's why when I wrote my books, they had sex fairly quickly." That stopped my hands.

"You wrote your own books too?" She nodded shyly, "What were they about? Did you publish them?"

She shook her head, "Paranormal romance, vampires, sex, bdsm, etc. And God no. They were never good enough for that." She clapped her hand over her mouth. "Fuck can I say his name?"

I laughed so hard Cass looked up at me, "You can say it but I'd prefer you didn't say it in our bed, or house, or office."

She laughed too, "So nowhere near you. Got it daddy."

"Good girl, now if I recall we have some punishments to dole out. But we have some terms to go over." I pulled her up to look into my eyes.
