I open the envelope. I read it carefully and finally get to what I waiting so long for.

Father:Levi Pierce

"So babe tell me!!" Carter says carrying Blair.

I stay quiet and look at him with sad eyes.

He puts the baby back down and takes the paper.

"Oh my god. No it can't be." He shakes his head and looks at the paper again.

Father:Levi Pierce

It goes on and on again.

"This can't be right. The baby looks just like me. My own mom said it! That's not possible!" He punches one of his walls and makes a big dent.

"Hey calm down. Look you're bleeding, let me help you." I hug him and I feel him breathing heavily.

"This can't be right Rory. It just can't." He whispers and I see tears roll down his cheeks.

"Don't cry Carter, it's going to be okay. We will find a way. Like always Cartie." I wipe the tears off his cheeks.

"It's Levi's." I sigh as I tell Jules.

"But-."

"I know the girls look exactly like Carter. I know Jules." I sigh again.

"How is this possible?" She says.

"I don't know Julie. I love Carter, I don't want to leave him." I say.

"I know sweetie. Just know that I'm here for you either way." She rubs my shoulder.

"How did Levi react?" She asks.

"He was so happy. He said that I should change my mind about the divorce."

"Maybe he's right Rory." She says.

"What?! Are you really hearing yourself right now?"

"These babies need a father, you and I both know that Levi would be a great dad. Even better if you two are still together. Rory I love you and I love your babies but I want what's best for both of you. Your babies care and love is supposed to come before how you feel about Carter. They are all that matters now Rory." She says.

I feel hopeless.
