Turns out I'm having twins. Two baby girls.
Carter and Levi were really happy when they found out.
But still it feels so weird that my babies have two dads for now.
I was with Carter laying on his couch.
"I hope these beautiful girls are my babies." He rubs my big belly.
"I hope so too Cartie." I smile.
I walk to the kitchen to get peanut butter.
I take the jar and a spoon then make my way back.
Then I feel something run down my leg. I look down and see a puddle of water underneath me.
"Carter my water just broke, we need to get to the emergency room right now!!" I scream.

Aurora couldn't give birth naturally. She couldn't seem to dilate at all. Then she passed out in bed and that's when I got really scared.
They took her to the surgery room. She was going to get a c-section. The nurse asked for Levi to go in since he's her husband. I wish it was me.

From hours and hours of waiting we finally see Levi walk out in scrubs.
"How is she?!" Jules yells.
"She's good, she's sleeping right now. Rory almost died in the operation but she's resting now." He says sighing.
I feel relief.
"Can we see the babies?" I say.
"Yeah come on." He walks us to Aurora's room.
Turns out my puppy wasn't sleeping, she was carrying one of her baby girls.
"Awwww who's this adorable little cutie?" Jules says and takes the baby from Aurora's arms.
"That's Millie." She shows her beautiful smile.
"That's the name I told you about." I say in shock.
"Yes it is." She blushes.
"And my other little girl is Blair. Which is the name Levi picked." She takes the second baby girl.

"Come here Carter." She says and I walk to her side.
"Look how beautiful she is." The baby coos and Aurora laughs, full of happiness.
"She's beautiful just like you." I say looking at Aurora. All I wanted to do was kiss her but I wasn't going to do that in front of Levi.
"Yes she is." She giggles.
I really hope these little girls are mine. I feel it in my gut that they are, I feel a strong connection towards them.

There will be discussions of mental illness, immense loss, and joy, ranging from the truly heartbreaking to the properly heartwarming. The first chapters are on the short side but eventually escalate to the 3000-5000 word range. especially the early chapters suffer from poor grammar and I am sorry. they are slowly going to be brought up to spec.
