I knock furiously on the door and Jules opens up.
"Oh honey, what happened?!" She sees the mess that I look like.
I sped walk into her apartment and continue crying my eyes out.
"He cheated Jules!" I sob out.
She hugs me and sits me down on her sofa.
"Shhh Rory. It's okay I'm here now. Calm down sweetie." She says softly rubbing my back.
I tell her every single detail about what happened and she basically exclaimed that she wanted to kill Levi.
"Here drink some water. I'll go get some take out. Make yourself at home sweetie." Jules grabs her purse and walks out the door.
I enter the bathroom and look at myself in the mirror.
Insanely puffy red eyes.
I look like a monster in a scary movie.
I wash my face with nice cold water and that seems to relax me for a little.
I hear a knock on the door and open without looking through the peep hole.
"What did you forget this ti-."
I cut my sentence off when I see who's standing in front of me.
"Carter?" I say dumbfounded.
"Oh wow hey Aurora!" He gives me a tight hug.
"hey..." I say without much excitement.
"What are you doing here?" I ask.
"Well I came here to drop off this for my sister, but I'm guessing she's not here." He said raising a box.
"Of course yeah, she went out to get some food." I try to look down so he doesn't see my eyes.
"Hey are you okay?" He says softly taking my chin and raising it so I could look up at him.
"Yeah I'm fine." I attempt to lie but it doesn't work.
"Nonsense come on let's sit and talk." He closes the door.

He gets two wine glasses from the cabinet and a cold red wine.
He sits on the sofa next to me and passes me my glass.
I take a sip and sigh.
"Tell me what's going on?" He says.
"Levi cheated on me." I whisper.
"WHAT?!!" His jaw clenches and he makes fists.
"Yeah..." I say dryly.
"That son of a bitch!" He slams the glass on the table.
"You're absolutely right." I downed the wine and poured myself much more after and after.
