"What do you mean?" I asked, confused.
He already ruined my life by just kidnapping me. Is that what he means? Unless-
"I am the one that caused that deadly outbreak." The Doctor said bluntly.
He didn't even bat an eye to what he said. That made me angry.
"Explain," I demanded sternly.
He simply chuckled.
"As you wish."
The doctor took a sharp inhale, and continued,
"You never had a disease. In fact, nobody has had the disease. The whole disease thing was an experiment to see how to the world would react to it."
I couldn't believe his words.
"What about the deaths?!" I shouted.
"I poisoned foods in countries, so it could look real. Instead, it malfunctioned and killed people who ate the food."
I gasped in horror. My whole life was a lie. Why was I in a bubble for years?
"Why- Why did you trap me?" I asked, my voice's volume lowering.
"I trapped you and everyone else who had the fake disease, because I didn't want anyone to figure out my wrong doings. It wasn't my fault. I didn't think it would happen-"
"Yes, it was your fault!" I screamed at him.
Tears streamed down my cheeks and onto my lap.
"My family," I mumbled, crying even more.
"Your family was a piece of shit towards you," the Doctor said, straight forwardly.
"What?"
He smirked again, crossing his legs.
"You were trapped in the quarantine bubble for so long, that you forgot your past. You believed that you had a good family that died to give a reason for you to not break out. Do you know why?" He asked with a menacing tone.
I lifted my eyebrow in confusion.
"The medicine we gave you. The medicine was supposed to induce depression and anxiety of the outside world. Since you didn't take it after awhile, the medicine started wearing off. When you started to eat it again, for some reason your body rejected it."

I looked up at him once again, but with fire inside of my eyes.
"That's not true."
"It's true. Your parents were never home, because they worked too much and they often missed your birthdays. You didn't have a sibling. You were supposed to end your life, but you never did. We were hoping you would," The Doctor's words rolled out of his very tongue.
He didn't seemed phased. I let him explain more.
"I was hoping that every single one who have experienced my mistake, dies. I hope you know, you were the reason your family died. When you heard of the outbreak, you started shaking uncontrollably. Your parents thought you had the disease and ran to the pharmacy immediately. They died in a car crash."
I couldn't help, but rejected every single word. Then, all of a sudden,
all my memories came back.
It was my seventh birthday party. I can't believe I'm 7 years old! I can't wait to grow up and become an adult. I unlocked the door. I came home from school. There was so much bullying that happened to me today, but that couldn't ruin my birthday!
I opened the door and walked in. It was completely silent.
"Hello?" I called out, but nobody answered.
I looked at the couch and saw my mom asleep. There was no cake, no balloons, no happy banner saying 'happy birthday.'
I should've expected this to happen for the seventh time in a row.
I grabbed a blanket and put it over my mom's sleeping body.
Happy birthday to me.
My vision started to get hazy. My head hurts so fucking much. What's going on?
My whole life I lived in a prison thinking I had a disease, but in all reality, I was just used and waited just to die. I cried and cried while the doctor's smug face stared at me. I looked up at his face, studying his features. Then, it hit me.
He looked like Anthony and Luke.
