I kneeled down in font of Stefan's body. His skin was gray and there was a stake in his chest.

Me "our brother's dead, Damon! He's dead! Oh my god, Stefan's dead!"

Damon nodded in tears "i know"

I gulped "He's dead. My brother is dead"

Damon shook his head "no. no. no. no. no.no. no. Don't even think about it! I'm not gonna lose you too"

Me "It hurts, Damon, it's hurt so much"

Damon nodded "i know but we will go through it together"

I shook my head "i can't"

Damon "Tay, don't, please, don't"

He hugged me and i closed my eyes.

The pain, it's killing me. My brother is dead. He's dead. There's only one way to end the pain.

I let go of everything.

I opened my eyes again.

Damon "We're gonna get through this together"

Me "You're wrong"

Then i broke his neck. His body went limp and i just smirked.

A few weeks later. Grill.

I was sitting at the bar with a drink in my hand.

I took a sip of it but nearly choked when i heard him say my name "good to see you, love"

I looked at him "Klaus"

My boyfriend. Oh shit

Klaus smiled "how are you?"

looks like he has no idea that i turned it off. Good.

Klaus "I'm sorry about your brother"

I shrugged "don't be. Shit happens"

Then i walked out. I walked around the corner and was suddenly pressed against the brick wall.

Me "Klaus"

Klaus "did you really think that i wouldn't realize that my girlfriend turned her humanity off?"

Me "Ex girlfriend"

Klaus "we never broke up"

Me "It's over, Nik. Now we broke up"

I tried to push him off me but he was too strong.

Me "Let go of me"

Klaus "you know, when Damon called and said that i needed to come back because you turned your feelings off, i didn't believe him but then i heard the reason why you did it and i knew i had to be by your side"

Me "But you weren't. Good boyfriend"

Klaus "Stefan was my friend "

I laughed "In what universe did that happen?"

Klaus "He loves you as much as i do, love, you turned us into friends."

I looked down.

Klaus "i love you, Tay"

Me "but i don't love"

I tried to push him off but didn't work.

I sighed annoyed.

Klaus "Turn them back on, please"

I shook my head "No"

Klaus "you know, i can't smell any vervain on you"

My eyes widened "Don't you dare!"

Klaus "your brother loved you, Taylor, he would be so disappointed in you if he could see you right now. "

Me "But he's not here, is he? "

Klaus put his hands on my cheeks and made me look him in the eyes "Taylor, please"

Me "No"

Klaus compelled me "Turn your humanity back on, love, now"

And now i had no choice but to turn them on.

I closed my eyes and let my feelings back in.

When i opened them i started to cry "Klaus"

He hugged me "it's okay, love, i'm here"

I sobbed out and held onto him for dear life "Klaus"

Nik kissed my hair "i'm here, love, and i'm not going anywhere"
