I groaned when i heard the doorbell go off. I sighed and rolled out of the bed. Kai wasn't next to me. I walked downstairs and saw Kai opening the front door. A happy Davis was standing there.

I yawned smiling "Davis, my friend, what are you doing here?"

Davis "I just stopped by to tell you that you are invited to my Halloween party"

My eyes widened "You? Throwing a Halloween party? you?"

He nodded.

I shrugged "Why not"

Davis looked at Kai "You are invited too"

Kai nodded "alright"

Davis "but..."

Kai sighed "i knew it"

Davis "I don't want any problems tonight, are we clear?"

Kai nodded "sure"

Davis smiled "see you tonight at my place"

I smiled "bye"

Kai and i walked into the big house. Davis did an awesome job. Half of the town was here ( just the young people and not the oldies). Everybody was drinking, dancing and laughing.

Kai put an arm around my shoulders "You know, i don't think the angel costume suits you, sweetcheeks"

I rolled my eyes smirking. I turned to him and put my arms around his neck. He was dressed as the winter soldier. A hot one.

Me "What costume you think would suit me more?"

Kai "A Greek goddess"

I smiled and kissed him. He kissed me back.

Suddenly we heard "Take a room, guys!"

I broke the kiss and turned to the person. The brothers, Caroline and Davis were standing there.

Davis was dressed as Mr. Hyde. Damon, of course, was the devil. Stefan was the Green Arrow, all in green with a hood, bow and the hero hair. And Caroline, of course, dressed up as a fairy.

I smiled at Damon "The devil suits you, D."

Damon smirked and took a sip of his drink.

Davis "now that you are all here! Go have some fun!!"

Caroline pulled Stefan and me to the dance floor. Damon, Davis Kai walked to the bar.

Stefan "She looks beautiful tonight, doesn't she?"

I saw him looking at something. I followed his gaze. He was looking at her.

I smiled "She does"

Stefan chuckled.

I looked at him "What?"

Stefan "come on, Davis, i'm not blind"

I asked confused "What are you talking about?"

Stefan "The way you look at her? I know for sure that it's not the way someone would look at his friend"

I shook my head "you got it all wrong"

Stefan "did i? because i can tell the difference between a friend and a crush"

Me "I'm not the kind of guy who steals another guy's girlfriend, Stefan"

Stefan raised an eyebrow "did you already forget about the other day? Where he nearly killed her because of a little argument?"

I clenched my jaw. Of course, i didn't forget. How much i hated that moment.

I saw Davis talking to Stefan and then walking to the dance floor. I smiled and walked to him. I grabbed his hand.

Davis sighed "Gabs"

I laughed "Dance with me!"

He smiled and nodded.

Davis "hey, you remember when your Mom threw that Silvester party when we were 16?"

I laughed "the night we got drunk?"

He nodded.

Me "That was the worst hangover ever. I just wanted to die the next day. "

What the actually hell was that?!

Stefan is the last person on earth who has any say in what is good for my girl and what not.

Maybe this Davis really is a decent guy. Good to know.
