Next day.

I was sitting on the sofa. I was still kinda shocked baout what happened not even hours ago. Well, ater Kai's outburst we called the party off and threw everybody out.

Damon was sitting next to me.

Damon"so how are you feeeling, Gabs?"

I nodded "I'm okay...so is Davis. "

Damon "good to hear"

Me "D?"

Damon "mhm?"

Me "The weirdest thing happened last night"

Damon "i know. i was there"

I shook my head "not that. "

Damon"what then?"

Me "Stefan. He was smirking at the whole scene like he was enjoying watching a show"

Damon "Alright, you go watch over your friend and i'll talk to my brother"

I nodded "thanks " and left.

I walked into Stefan's room not bothering to knock.

Stefan "how about knocking?"

I fired back "how about you tell me what was up with you last night "

Stefan shrugged "I was acting normal"

I raised an eyebrow "so smirking after shit went down is acting normal? Come one, Stef"

Stefan shrugged all innocent "I forgot telling KAi about the party"

I raised an eyebrow "you forgot"

Stefan"i didn't tell him"

I chuckled and leaned against his desk "Stefan, Stefan, Stefan...what could've possibly gotten into your head to not tell Kai about the party?"

Stefan "I just wanna keep her away from Kai so she can see his true Colors"

I raised an eyebrow amused "so you can have her all for yourself?"

Stefan shook his head "nope.. not for myself"

Then it hit me "Davis. Are we playing evil Match macker now, are we?"

Stefan "Not evil, C'mon for all we know he truly cares about her, and he isn't a sociopath"

Me "I get your point. But it's still dangerous"

I was sitting on my sofa next to Davis.

Me "you sure you're okay?"

Davis chuckled "I'm fine, Gabriele"

I could hear the door open and i sighed. Kai.

I turned to him. He had this regretful look on his face.

He opened his mouth to talk to Davis but Davis cut him off.

Davis "Listen, man, i'm not the first person you should apologze to"

Kai looks at me "Can we talk? Outside?"

Davis "Gaby-"

I gave him an assuring smile "It's okay"

I got uo and walked with Kai outside.

I leaned against a post of my porch waiting for Kai to open his mouth.

Kai "I overreacted"

I nodded "yes, you did"

Kai "But why didn't you tell me about the wole party thing?"

I raised an eyebrow confused "What are you talking about? I told Stefan to tell you"

Kai suddenly gowled "i'm gonna kill him."

I sighed "I stared at the outside of your house for an hour until i accepted you weren't gonna show up"

Kai "Listen, sweetcheeks, i'm sorry for going all heretic on you last night. I got jealous seeing you two together. I mean how could i not? After Caroline left that stupid comment at the grill that was all i could think about. I am sorry for hurting you like that. And it won't ever happen again. Can you forgive me?"

I sighed and walked to him. I kissed him.

Me "of course, you silly"

The front door opened and Davis stepped out.

Kai looked at him "Listen, man, i'm sorry for last night. Kinda crossed a line with that. I hope we can start over"

Davis nodded "Sure"

And then they did that bro hug thing.

I still don't trust him. Not at all.

I walked inside the mansion and saw Stefan standing there.

Me "Why didn't you tell me about the party? I thought we were good, man?"

Stefan "You really wanna know?"

Me "I wouldn't be here if i didn't"

Stefan " I didn't tell you because i want you out of her life. You're toxic and i don't want her to get poisend to death by you"

I scoffed "And who the hell are you deciding that? You were the one leaving her, remember?"

Stefan "doesn't mean i don't care about her anymore"

Me "Listen, Salvatore, you'll never be able to break me and her apart."

Stefan "Is that a threat?"

Me "It's a promise"
