1864 in front of the Salvatore Mansion.

I was laughing with Damon on the steps of the porch. Today the Salvatore family was expecting Katherine Pierce. Some girl that lost her family in a fire.

Damon "so Miss Diamond, how do you think about your future?"

I giggled "Why are you asking, Mr. Damon?"

Damon shrugged smirking "Just wondering where you see yourself in the future"

Me "you wanna know?"

He nodded.

Me "I see myself being married to Stefan, maybe have some children, a big house and you being the perfect uncle"

Damon smiled "really?"

I nodded smiling "of course"

Suddenly we heard horses. Damon and i stood up. The door opened and Stefan and his father walked out. Stefan walked to me giving me a kiss on the cheek.

Stefan whispered "Where you outside this whole time?"

I nodded and whispered back "Your brother gave me some company"

Stefan looked at Damon. Damon winked at Stefan and Stefan then suddenly smiled happy.

I raised an eyebrow confused.

Suddenly a horse drawn carriage stopped in front of us. A pretty dark skinned girl came out and held her hand out to the door. Another hand grabbed it and stepped out of the carriage. A really beautiful girl with dark brown hair.

She looked at us.

Damon smiled "You must be Miss Pierce"

KAtherine held her hand out "please, call me KAtherine"

Damon took her hand and kissed the back of her hand. She smiled and then her eyes fell on Stefan who was still behind me.

I walked downstairs to the little party. A few Important people where there. Important people like Geroge Lookwood, Jonathon Gilbert and so on.

I smiled when i felt arms around my waist and lips on my neck.

I giggled "Stefan, not here"

Stefan kissed my neck "I have a suprise for you"

I turned to him "what suprise?"

Stefan "It's a suprise, princess"

I rolled my eyes "I hate suprises"

Stefan "Trust me, you're gonna love this one"

Me "I am?"

Stefan smiled "Well, i hope you do"

I smiled and kissed him.

Damon joined us "Stefan, brother, can i have a word with you?"

Stefan looked at me.

I smiled "go. I'm gonna look for my parents"

Stefan smiled and kissed me "i love you"

I smiled back "i love you"

Stefan and Damon left and i walked around trying to find my parents.

I found Josephe instead.

He smiled when he saw me "Diamond"

He only smiles around me. Wich is weird.

I smiled back "Mr. Salvatore"

Josephe "Diamond, how many times did i tell you to call me Josephe"

I looked down blushing "I'm sorry, Josephe"

Josephe "Are you looking for my son?"

I shook my head "I was just weith him, i looking for my parents"

Josephe "You're mother didn't feel well. I told her she can lay down in one of the guest room"

I smiled "That's very nice of you"

Josephe "my pleasure"

Me "If you'll excuse me i'm gonna look if she's alright"

Jospehe smiled "go ahead"

I smiled and walked upstairs.

I passt a room but got pulled inisde and pressed against the door.

I felt someone holding their wrist on my mouth and i gulped down something. Then everything went black.

I groaned in pain and woke up. I was laying on the ground.

A voice "You're finally awake"

I stood up feeling dizzy.

Me "Katherine? what happened?"

Katherine "Let me tell you what happend. I turned you into a vampire"

I started to laugh "you did what?"

Katherine "it's true."

She turned on the night stand lamp. My eyes started to burn a little.

Katherine "your senses are higher than usual."

She held a cup out with some red liquor inside of it. It smelled so good.

Katheirne "That delicious smell is blood. To complete the transition you have to drink it"

Katherine walked closer "go ahead. I won't tell anyone"

My mouth started hurt. I looked into the mirror wich was standing beside me. My eyes widened.

Katherine "your fangs. The pain goes away after a while"

She grabbed my hand and put the cup in it.

Me "I can't"

KAtherine giggled "but you won't be able to resist, Diamond"

I looked at the blood. That smell.

I gave in and gulped it all down.

Katherine laughed.

Me "Why did you do that to me?"

Katherine "Damon told me about you and Stefan. He also told me that Stefan was going to propose to you and i can't let that happen"

My eyes widened "propose?"

Katherine giggled "you silly, that's your suprise"

I was shocked. That's why Damon asked me about my future.

Katherine "A shame that that's never going to happen"

Me "why?"

Katherine's hand was suddenly on my throat "Because if i ever see you near Stefan again i'll kill him in front of you and then i'll kill you"

I shook my head "don't hurt him, please"

Katherine "then leave town. Now"

Me "and leave everything behind?"

Katherine nodded "yep. You take the window"

I nodded not liking this idea at all but i don't have a choice.

I walked to the window and opened it.

KAtherine "And Diamond"

I turned to her. She threw something to me. I caught it. It was a ring.

I looked at her confused.

Katherine "wouldn't want you to burn to ashes as soon as the sunlight meets your skin"

Me "What am i?"

Katherine "You're a vampire"
