Chapter 32
It was finally time to show those rogues and hunters that they should never have messed with us. Though there was something that was still troubling my mind.
The descendant of the wicked queen was know the leader of the rogues and hunters this therefore meant that they would be extremely powerful with him but without him they would be useless.
The only problem I saw was that I had to separate him from his followers but how is that possible if I don’t even know his name or what he looks like.
It had been an hour since my speech with the other alphas and soon after they had all followed my lead and gone to speak with their packs. It was the worst pain imaginable having to inform those in my pack who had not heard about victors death there were tears shed.
I could feel their pain through the pack link but I couldn’t stay long to comfort them so I left that duty to Drew and went to talk to the other alphas.
We had quickly decided on our defence tactics as well as tactics to both strengthen our packs and patrol along with a more advanced training regime.
It helped that Drew was somewhat healed and could go back to his duties of training our pack members.
After dismissing the alpha meeting I left to go to my office I needed to sort through whatever was going through my head.
It felt like I had just found Kevin a day ago and know I could possibly lose him along with my new found mate. I couldn’t help the tears that had escaped; those tears that were know rolling down my cheeks.
I never thought that I would meet someone as amazing as Alek and the possibility of losing him was just too painful to conceive. All of a sudden I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist pulling me close, holding me tight.
I didn’t need to turn around to find out whose arms were wrapped around me.
“Il mio amore, why are you crying?” Alek asked while pulling me tighter into his hold. I twisted my body not wanting to lose the opportunity of being in his arms for as long as possible.

I could see the worried expression on his face as he took in my tear stained face.
“This war is going happening Alek and I could lose both you and Kevin I....I.....I don’t know if I can handle losing you when I haven’t even had the chance to get to know you” I whimpered.
Alek’s face looked pained as he understood my worry for our future is uncertain. Alek slowly moved his hands upwards from my waist over my body to my face making me shiver at his close proximity as he gently wiped away my tears.
I had always secretly dreamed of a moment like this were a man would actually care that much about me that he wouldn’t care if my nose was bright red from crying or that my eyes were swollen. He would simply care for me no matter what. As I looked into Alek’s eyes I could see the love he held for me and the care as he gently lowered his head and pressed his lips against mine.
He pulled me closer with his hand cupping my cheek deepening the kiss giving me a taste of him as he slipped his tongue into my mouth. As the kiss turned rougher he backed me onto my desk lifting me from my thighs so I was closer to his height. I let him guide me through this new development in our relationship. He had more experience than I did, the kiss lasted what seemed like hours until I had to break the kiss as I gasped for air.
As I struggled to catch my breath I could see that he too was as moved by the sudden kiss as I was.
“Ti amo Leila, I love you, so much you and Kevin are my everything know” I gasped Alek loved me I had been wanting to know how deep his feeling s were for me for some time know and finding out know lifted a weight of my shoulders having one less thing to worry about.
“Ti amo Alek” I whispered in his ear smiling as I pressed my head into his chest not wanting him to notice the blush that had come across my cheeks.

We simply stayed in that position with me holding my head against his chest and him stroking my hair I pulled him trying to get him as close as possible not wanting to let him go.
“I’m not going anywhere Il mio compagno” Alek whispered to me as if understanding what I had been thinking.
As I snuggled into his chest I suddenly thought of an idea”Alek, honey let’s play 20 questions so we can get to know each other better”. I saw Alek’s confused face turn into one of understanding.
“Anything for you my love” he laughed I couldn’t help but smile as his body shook against me.
“Okay, ummmmmm....let me think of a question oh let’s start with something simple what’s your favourite colour” I asked giddily waiting for his reply.
“You’re acting like a little bunny jumping up and down like that hmmmmm... I like that I think I will call you bunny from now on” he smirked slyly at me.
I gasped in horror was he really going to call me bunny “No you can’t call me that”.
“I can and I will my little bunny” he said trying to hold in his laughter at my reaction but I could see his lips twitching.
“Fine but you still have to answer my question” I huffed knowing I wasn’t going to get him to stop calling me that”.
“It’s black” he said calmly.
“Really your favourite colour is black, why couldn’t you pick something like red or blue” I asked.
“I think I look good in black plus you can wear it with anything” I had to admit he was right I had never seen him wear any bright colours only dark shades I kind of liked it they made him look sexy and mysterious.
“Sexy and mysterious huh” Alek smirked.
I was confused at first until I realised that I had been talking out loud rather than in my head. I could feel my face turning a deeper shade of pink as Alek chuckled at my obvious embarrassment. I tried to disentangle myself from his arms but he wouldn’t let me go.
“Don’t worry Il mi amore I think you look sexy in anything you wear though I would prefer it if you were wearing nothing bunny” he whispered as he kissed from my jaw down to my collarbone.
I hid my face in his chest not wanting him to see how embarrassed I was.
“Okay let’s move on do you have any siblings” I asked.
“No that’s not fair bunny you need to tell me your favourite colour” he said.
“Its green like the colour of the leaves on tress and fresh grass, now answer my question” I demanded.
“No bunny I have no family left my parents died when I was young and my younger brother died In a rogue attack four years ago” Alek said solemnly.
I didn’t know what to say so I just squeezed his arms that were wrapped around me comforting him.
“I’m sorry Alek” I whispered.
“It’s okay bunny it was a long time ago, my pack have been my family since then and know you and Kevin are as well”.
Before I could say anything else there was an urgent banging on my office door stepping out of Alek’s arms I opened the door to find Drew’s pale face.
“Alpha the rogues and hunters have left another message” he said while passing me a note.
I started to read it out loud for Alek’s benefit.
“Hello again Miss Van Derbergh, its seems you have gathered up quite a following and I’m getting quite impatient. So be ready were coming at the next full moon make sure to give your goodbyes alpha because you’re going to be the first to die.”
I could feel the growls of anger coming of Alek who was worried for me this letter clearly said I was going to be a target I didn’t feel much I already knew I was going to be targeted I mean I am the Leader of the Ordinem lupus so they are going to want me dead.
What worried me was the date.
“Alek the next full moon....” I whispered shocked.
Alek nodded his head unable to speak he understood what it meant.
The next full moon was in five days.

Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder
I, Mick Chadwick, regret to inform my readers that this memoir contains nothing but the truth, which in the case of Tobias MacClain, most ridiculed as Pajama Boy, is far from pleasant. If you seek to relate to a hero more than to aspire to them and have the stomach for unpleasant things such as a hero left for dead, villainous scars, bomb threats, and murderous intent, then look no further. All of these gruesome things and more await from my research, and though I do not wish them on any man or woman, I cannot bear this burden on my own much longer. In the words of Tobias MacClain himself, "Sometimes, a villainous act can cause the greatest good." I hope that all my villainous acts of sneaking, blackmailing, diary-reading, and grave-digging, among others, will be redeemed as I present this complete and truthful memoir to the world, and with any luck, open eyes to the truth of what we call "villainy". Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder ********* MATURE FILTER IS FOR:- violence- graphic imagery (blood, burns, fairly dark headspaces)- cartoon depiction of burn scars for visual aid Despite graphics, Mick Chadwick's writing keeps Mr. MacClain's terrible tale light somehow. This is foremostly a comedy.
