"Okay Scrappy,we gotta argue." Tiny said. "About what exactly?!" Scrappy asked. "Okay we need your blood sample.Now." Tiny replied. "N-No! Ill never! No!" Scrappy barked. "Don't make this hard Scrappy please! I don't want to have to do this!" Tiny barked. "No!" Scrappy repeated. "Okay,you asked for it." Tiny said. "Wait wha-" Scrappy's words trailed off. Lou's arms was wrapped around her body. "Aye! Lemme go!" Scrappy said wrapped in Lou's arms. "Sorry Scrappy but you need this! It's for your health!" Lou commented. "Lou, seriously?!" Scrappy growled. "Yes now stay still! Let's get it over with!" P.U.P added. "Aye P.U.P,help a dawg out!" Scrappy said trying to push her way out."Scrappy,don't be manipulative! #1 it's for your health #2,it's for you health.#3-" Scrappy interrupted Tiny. "I get it #3 ITS FOR MY HEALTH!" Scrappy said angry. "Okay well we still need your sample so stay still and let me do this!" Steve said. Steve tried to put the needle in her paw. Scrappy put her paw under herself. "Hey! Scrappy!" Steve said disappointed. "Okay! Fine!" Scrappy said rolling her eyes. Steve put the needle in her paw. "Ow! You dawg! Stop ouch!" Scrappy ordered. Steve took the needle out her paw and put the needle in a bag that said "Scrappy". Lou put Scrappy on the ground. Scrappy looked up at her then walked to her room. She put on her Golden Bone.
"Sorry Scrappy." Tiny said hastily. "Eh-I guess it's okay." Scrappy replied. Charlie walked in. "Aunt Scrappy,will you teach me how to rap?" Charlie asked. "Eh,sure.But later,I got stuff to do." Scrappy replied.

"Cmon Scrappy,the van's ready." Tiny barked. "K.Coming!" Scrappy said grabbing her bag hastily. She jumped in the van. Tiny and P.U.P jumped in. Brody,Rosie,and Charlie jumped in with no problem. Cindy jumped then slipped and fell back. "Ow!" Cindy yelped. "Cmon Cindy,you got this!" Scrappy barked. Cindy jumped up but slipped and fell back,again.Cindy jumped up with more speed,almost had it. Her paws held onto the leather seat. "Mom! Dad!" She cried out. She slipped and fell on the grass,a softer landing. She jumped up but her fur got stuck in the door. She jumped down. Tiny jumped out and grabbed Cindy by her scruff then went back inside the van. "Thanks Mom." Cindy said smiling. "It's okay Cindy!" Tiny replied.They drove off to the vet's office. "Yo Scraps,you're gonna have to do it every week. Twice!" P.U.P told Scrappy. "I know. You'll just have to fight me for it to happen." Scrappy growled. P.U.P rolled his eyes.

The tone of this fiction is often dark and distinctly dystopian in lighter shades of Margaret Atwood, though where there is darkness there is always hope and light. On Hiatus Until September When the School Year Begins and Mom This story takes a considerable amount of time and mental energy to complete. I thought I had enough backlog and time to post it as a serial while COVID kept my child home from school, but it turns out while I can quickly write other pieces, I cannot produce the quality I need with this one at an acceptable rate. We'll resume in September when my days are much freer. Thank you for your patience and stay tuned for a different storytelling romp more suited for a serial platform in the meantime.
