《You're the guy my dad never shut up about? | S. Rogers [1]》86. Aunt May

It's been a week since Bucky was saved. He's been at Shield the whole time, they're making sure he's alright and running a few tests. But they're optimistic that he'll be alright, especially since Galilea helps him with the words and he's gotten to know everyone in the team.
The Avengers are getting use to Loki. They still want to kill him from time to time as does he, but no problems have arise. Gali is trying to convince Odin to let Loki out of space jail as she calls it. She's somehow managed to convince him to let Loki free on earth as a trial, and if he does well then he'll be free, if he doesn't then he'll be sent back to Asgard and locked away. They know of Loki's heroic actions when they went to save Bucky, but one good deed won't erase what he did in New York.
One day the Avengers unsurprisingly found themselves in the break room at Shield, when a troubled looking Peter entered the room "what's wrong kid?" Sam was the first one to notice Peter.
He bit the inside of his cheek and looked around the room "uh- there- something kinda happened" he rubbed the back of his neck.
"What kinda happened?" Bucky asked.
"Uh- you see, what happened was-"
"What did you do now?" Galilea sighed like an exasperated mother of a teenage boy. This must be how Phil feels when one of us does something wrong.
"Well- well I was in my suit at home and-" before Peter could finish explaining an angry aunt May barged in the room.
"Peter is Spider-Man?!" Eyes widened and some leaned back as to avoid the wrath of aunt May.
"Oh shit" Galilea breathed and dropped her head.
"Why didn't you tell me?" May asked Gali.
"I didn't want to worry you" she answered.
"I'm always worried about him"
"Well I didn't want to worry you more"
"Oh my god, so the internship" May said in realization.
"There was never an internship" Peter spoke up.
"I'm sorry" Gali apologized.
May looked like she was about to say something but thought against it. She took in a deep breath to calm herself "how long have you known?"
"A year and a half"
"A year and a half" May gasped and turned to Peter.
"How did it happen?"
"I got bit by a spider" he answered.
"You got bit by a spider?" She asked in disbelief.

"A- a radioactive spider. I then started to develop these senses and then, well, I was Spider-Man" he hastily explained.
"When did this happen?" May asked her nephew.
"About two months before uncle Ben died" he mumbled. May gasped and her knees weakened. She took a seat in the nearest chair.
"Look, May" Gali sighed and sat down next to the antsy woman "when I found out about Peter I reached out to him. I told him to stop putting himself in danger and even tho he listens to me half the time" here she glared at Peter and he smiled nervously "and drives me crazy and exasperates me and does the complete opposite of what I tell him. Gets in trouble at school, skips classes to stop petty crimes, stops by my house every other day and eats my food, worries me when a crime he stops goes bad and ends up getting hurt and- damn it Peter Benjamin Parker, you are the reason why I won't have kids!" Galilea slammed a hand on the table.
"Sorry?" He offered. Gali mocked him and pointed a finger at him.
"What was the first thing- the first thing I told you?" Peter thought about it for a second before answering "get in loser, we're going shopping"
"No" Gali facepalmed and the others sniggered "about the suit" her voice went up a pitch like when uncle Jesse says 'not the hair'
"Be careful where I use my powers and wear the suit"
"Be careful where you use your powers and where you wear the suit. Exactly" Gali nodded "what was he point of me hiding your identity, preventing those who want to find you not find you. What was it all for, if you're going to parade in your suit for everyone to know who you are?"
"Only two people have found out" Peter tried to reason.
"Two people? Who's the other person?" Natasha asked.
"My friend Ned" Peter mumbled.
"Ned? Ned knows?" Aunt May turned to Peter. He nodded "who else knows?" She asked.
"No one. Everyone in this room, Ned and now you" Peter informed.
"He's in a good place with us, May" Tony spoke up.
"We all look after the kid. Especially Clint, no matter how much he denies it" Gali teased her friend. Clint huffed and looked away.
May was quiet for a moment, taking everything in. She never thought that her nephew would be the spandex masked person swinging from building to building with a spiderweb "I just- I can't believe Peter is Spider-Man" she breathed out.

"You and me both" Clint drank from his water bottle.
"Hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry!"
"Pick up your speed Galilea!"
"Don't hurry me, I have asthma!"
"Will you two please pick up your pace?!" Kamilla yelled at the Stark siblings.
They ran down a corridor, took a sharp left and their feet slid across the smooth floor nearly causing them to fall. Well Galilea actually slipped.
"Oh my god, we don't have time for you falling. Get up!" Kamilla pulled on Gali's arm. She shot up and Kami pulled her to keep running.
Their rapid footsteps echoed down the hall. The Avengers poked their heads out the door just in time to see Tony, Galilea and Kamilla zoom right pass them.
"Where are you going?" Bruce called out.
"Emil... Katherine... Hos-" Kamilla's words stumbled out of her mouth.
"My godchild is being born!" Galilea happily shouted.
"Bye losers!" Tony waved and the three disappeared a round a corner. Galilea's cries of joy can still be heard.
Everyone glanced at one another and smiles crept on their faces. They've been waiting for that moment since they've found out that Katherine is pregnant. Except those who don't know who Katherine and Emil are, like Peter, Bucky, Sam and Loki. Still they want to know what it's all about.
"Wait!" They yelled.
"I want to see the baby!" Clint dramatically cried as he was the first one to run out of there.
"This has to be the longest labor in the history of labors" Natasha groaned.
"You're telling me" Katherine muttered as she rubbed her swollen stomach "Leo came out like two hours after my water broke"
"How long has it been?" Clint yawned.
A sleep deprived Emil checked his phone "too long" he answered.
"Thirty five hours and thirteen minutes" Tony tiredly answered.
"Oh my god!" Emil buried his face in his hands.
"This baby better be something special- ow!" Tony rubbed the back of his head and frowned at Pepper.
"Come on get out!" Katherine cried and looked down at the bump.
"I don't think yelling will help speed things up" Rhodey spoke up.
"What do you know!" Katherine snapped.
"Do something useful James and get me some ice" the team sniggered at Rhodey. He pouted and walked out of the room.
Katherine is in a private room, suffering and is as comfortable as she can be. The Avengers have been in and out of the room, as have Katherine's brother, sister and parents. Emil's parents also checked in and little Leo just wants to meet his new little brother or sister.
Emil hasn't left his wife's side since they arrived at the hospital. Katherine grabbed Emil's hand and squeezed as she got a contraction. Emil cried out in pain.
"Don't be such a wimp, how hard can she- oh good god! What have I ever done to you?!" Clint cried as he was brought down to his knees when Katherine squeezed his hand.
The contraction passed and she let go of the two men. Clint rubbed his hand and frowned like an angry child "you hurt me"
"Oh I'm sorry, come back to me when I care!" Katherine yelled.
"I think I should get this checked out. I think you cracked a bone" Clint muttered as he walked out of the room.
"And he calls himself an Avenger" Katherine muttered.
"Maybe we should stick Katherine in a room with the big green guy, see if she manages to scare him" Tony commented. Bruce simply glared at his science bro.
"Hello big sis" Katherine's little brother walked in, his hands stuffed in the pocket of his grey hoodie. His curly black hair tied up in a small man bun, brown eyes sparkling, a wide smile on his face.
"Oh it's you again" Katherine rolled her eyes in annoyance.
"Aww, I love you too!" He cooed and kissed the top of Katherine's head.
"What do you want?" She groaned.
"What do you mean what do I want?"
"My god Giovani, don't anger it!" Kami whispered to Giovani. He simply laughed.
"How are you doing?" He asked his sister.
"I want this child out" Katherine rubbed her stomach.
"You're a champ, Kathy. Emil wake up!" He slapped Emil's arm.
"I'm awake" Emil sleepily muttered from the chair he's sitting on, his head thrown back and eyes closed.
"Mhm" Giovani hummed.
"Here is your ice" James walked back in with ice chips in a cup.
"Thank you" Katherine began to munch and suck on the pieces of ice.
This is going to be a long labor.

As it is written for the audience who also reads translated LNs, there is a strong J-light novel influence as well as Japanese jargon thrown in. You have now been forewarned. This is also written for gamers, so yeah, gaming jargon and game-world building in the extras. The previous description of the MC being a bit of a ladies' lady has been scrapped, since the MC basically gave me an 'F you' and went and did her own thing.
