They were now seated on the Quinn Jet and Bruce was helping fix Rory's hand

"It looks like you might've torn your ligament, but we can't be sure until we get an X-Ray" Bruce says

Rory just nods in a daze

Bucky goes over to her and pulls her into his lap

"I know that look, whatever happened in there is eating you up. You can tell us Doll, you don't have to keep it in" he says quietly

"When they finally got me away from hydra, they tried to get me to open up, but you know how stubborn I can be. But I held it in and it only caused more pain, the nightmares were horrible, I was throwing up everything I ate. We don't want to see you go through that doll" Bucky says gently and he hold her tight and rubs her back soothingly

"It was my dad" she says so quietly that they almost don't hear

"I saw my dad for the first time in 10 years and I killed him, all in the same 15 minutes" she says numbly

"I should feel bad, and I shouldn't have stopped crying, but, I don't feel anything. I'm not happy, or sad, or anything. I feel nothing" she says staring into space

"That man was not your dad. He was never apart of your life when you needed it. And it's ok that you don't feel anything, he was practically a stranger to you" Fury says with his arms crossed trying to seem placid like always

"I guess" Rory whispers

She turns her head away from everyone and puts her face in the crook of Bucky's neck

The humming white noise from the jet was lulling her to sleep, her eyes were barely staying open

"Get some rest doll" Bucky said kissing her hair

In a matter of seconds she completely lost all consciousness

"She took her ring off" Sam says

"Is she going to be ok?" He asks signing

"She should be, but she'll need some time before she's back to being herself. When she used to use them she was always completely spent the next day. It's been almost three years since she's used her powers, she won't tell you but it's going to take a very large toll on her, so just keep an eye out for that" Fury says from where he's standing across from Rory

"We'll call Helen Cho and tell her to be at the tower to check over her, just to be safe" Coulson adds taking out his phone

He and Fury both get up and leave the soulmates alone together

"Poor thing just can't get a break can she" Wanda says sitting next to Bucky

"She has us now, we'll get her though everything, she's never going to be alone again" Steve declares

When they get back to the tower Rory was still asleep

"Dr. Helen Cho has been checked and approved like you asked Mr. Stark. She along with fellow physician have set up in the med bay and are ready to evaluate Ms. Sinclair and tend to any other injuries that any of you may have received on this mission" Jarvis says as they enter the tower

Stephen carries her off the Quinn Jet and to the elevator with the rest of the team along with Coulson and Fury, being careful not to hurt her wrist

On the elevator ride Rory shifted in Stephen arms and let out a quiet groan

"Hey sweetheart" Stephen says looking down at her

The elevator dings and he walk over to where Dr. Cho was and put Rory in the medical bed

She grabbed onto Stephen's bicep to help pull herself into a sitting position with only one hand

He immediately puts one hand on her lower back and helps her sit up while Pietro stands behind her so she can lean back without falling backwards

"Hello Agent Sinclair, I'm Dr. Cho" the women with dark hair says offering a smile

"Rory is fine" Rory responds still groggy from her nap

"Alright Rory, let's check your hand and then we can take care of other concerns alright" she says

Rory nods and puts her hurt hand on the side attachment with is slightly elevated

Dr. Cho was very gentle while checking her hand

"No broken bones or fractures, but there is a small tear right here in this ligament" she says pointing to the screen with Rory's X-ray

"Unless your showering, wear this splint, and no extraneous activity, that means no lifting anything too heavy, no punching or sparing, and don't put pressure on it. After you've worn the splint for two weeks we can check again and see the progress. If it's going down the right path you can start doing small exercises to maintain the muscles for the rest of the recovery" Dr. Cho says putting the splint on Rory's hand

"Thank you Dr. Cho" Rory says with a small smile

"I'm gonna do a few more test to see if there's anything else we should be worried about" Dr. Cho said seriously

She takes a small flash light and uses it to look at Rory's eyes

"Where Rory's eyes always this bright?" She asked the girls soulmates

"No, they used to be more green" Bruce said looking into his soulmates eyes

Dr. Cho pauses as if wondering what to do next

"Ms. Maximoff, where do you train, with your abilities that is?" She finally asks

"There's a gym downstairs, there's a room that can withstand my powers" Wanda answers

"I think we should move there in order to proceed safely" The doctor said

They all nod and help Rory stand

She stumbles a little but Pietro was there to steady her

They make their way tot he gym and into the area where Wanda trained with her powers

"Rory, can you light this on fire?" Dr Cho says placing a pen on the floor and walking behind Rory with the rest of her soulmates

She looks to the side at Fury who nods his head at her

She takes a breath and concentrates on the heat in her body and around her

She focuses all that heat to the pen and just like that it lights up in flames

She lets the fire flicker for a few seconds before putting it out

"Put this on and try the same thing again please" Dr. Cho says handing Rory her ring

Rory looks up at her skeptically but she just nods encouragingly

As expected nothing happened when she tries to use her powers

"Well it looks like your ring is still able to suppress your powers. And I don't see anything else wrong besides your hand. You're all set" Dr. Cho says with a light smile

"Thank you" Rory said

"If you ever need me, you are more then welcome to contact me, no matter the situation" Dr. Cho says before making her way out with Coulson and the other doctor
