It had been 2 weeks since the three had gotten home from Asgard

Everything was perfect

Rory would go to school, she'd come home to her soulmates, they'd go on missions, go on dates, have movie nights like every other night

Everything was perfect, for now

Fury had called all the Avengers and Rory saying they had to go on a mission

When they arrived at Shield headquarters they saw that this wasn't just any mission

This was a mission mission

There were probably 30 or so agents all in the briefing room

"We're taking a trip to Bahrain. There is a hydra unit there, very lethal. Somethings going on, something big, and we need to stop. We are going on with little to no information. All we have is a location. We get in there figure out what they're secret weapon is and shut it down. Understood?" Fury says more seriously than usual

Many 'yes sir's are heard and we all go to board the jets

The Avengers obviously take the Quinn Jet seen as Clint refuses to fly any other aircraft

When we land we make our way to the coordinates we were sent

"Remember, we're doing search and rescue. Sam, Tony and Clint will watch through the skies while the rest of us get in there and get people out" Steve says

We split up and go in

I go with Bucky and Wanda

We creep around quietly and burst into a door

We easily know I out the people inside and find two people who were hiding behind the control system

"You 2 go that ways and I'll go this way coming rooms as I get them out of here" I say to them

"Be careful" Wanda says before we spot ways

"Ok follow me" I tell the two men

I lead them through the halls finding a couple more people on the way and taking down some more men

We make it outside and I show them to where we have medical set up so that their injuries can be assessed

"Agent Sinclair, the Director needs you" another female agent says tapping my shoulder

I nod and she leads me to where he and Coulson are standing

"Where's the rest of the team" Fury asks

"There still inside the other building. I came out with the civilians" I tell them

Coulson looks at Nick wearily

Nick sighs and nods so Coulson turns his attention to me

"Ok there are 20 agents in there, we haven't been able to communicate to any of them, we don't know who or what is on there so we don't know how long our agents will be safe, if they even are safe at all. So be careful do you hear me?" Coulson says

"Yes sir" I tell him

I grab 2 guns, take a breath and walk in

I start to walk through the abandoned building making sure to keep my steps as quiet as possible

I see bodies on the floor which our agents were able to take down before going offline

I hear two men talking in German

"Es sind nur wir, alle anderen sind beim Chef"

(It's only us, everyone else is with the boss)

Well that's convenient

I yank open the door and shoot the 3 hydra men

I see 19 of our agents in this room

Most of them have injuries, but only some of them are bad thankfully

"Where's the team" an agent asks me

"There is no team, it's just me" I say

They all look at me shocked

"Ok there is obviously something bigger going on in here, but I need you guys to get out of here, right outside Fury and Coulson are waiting with medics, the Avengers should be there too. Get yourselves and each other out" I say handing them one of my guns leaving me with one

I continue to walk down the corridor

"Rory get out of there" I hear Nick say through the comms

"I still need to find one more agent" I say as I continue walking

"Rory come back now" Nick says

"No, I'm not going to just leave one of our own in here" I say pulling the comm out of my ear and throwing it too the floor
