"We're here!" Garcia unlocks the Reid's apartment door with the key Ryder had given her. JJ, Emily, and Nat follow behind the bubbly blonde. "Don't get up!" She shouts to Ryder who rolls her eyes but follows the older woman's demand and sits back on the couch.

"I thought I'd escaped being told to rest when Spencer left." Did that rhyme? "Guess not."

"Nope," JJ shakes her head and sets her all of her things down except a bottle of juice. "As long as we're here, you're not moving." She sits on the coffee table in front of Ryder and hands her the cold drink. "Strawberry, banana?"

"It's so good," Ryder says before taking a sip. "And what if I have to pee? Okay, I do that like every five seconds these days."

"I think if you do any more than that, Spencer will somehow know and bust through the door." Emily chuckles while helping Natalie with the food.

"I swear," Ryder mumbles under her breath. She loves Spencer, truly, but he's so... overprotective. "I don't know what Derek's got him doing, but I hope it takes his mind off things. He's been so stressed lately."

"I think most fiancées would be more worried about that," Penelope says while moving over to the couch. "You know, they're men going out who knows where to do who knows what for their bachelor party."

"Yes, thank you, Penny," Ryder states blankly, giving an apologetic Garcia a tight smile before chuckling. "No, I trust, Spence. Not so much Derek, but..." She trails off with a shrug, earning laughs from the other women in the room.

"Okay, enough boy talk, it's girl time," Nat moves forward, arms overflowing with snacks. They all agreed on no alcohol. Ryder was never a drinker before she was pregnant and now it's out of the question. So the others decided they wouldn't drink even a little either. "Now, let's watch cheesy movies, play games, and eat until we feel as if we'll explode."

"I'm going to look like that in a few short months, not sure I want to speed up the process."

"Oh, hush, you look great now, you'll look great then," Emily waves her off, throwing a bag of chocolate into her lap.

"I had to have my dress altered slightly," Ryder had been worried she wouldn't get it back in time for the wedding.

"I'm so excited for this wedding," Penelope all but squeals and claps her hands together.

"I have to go to the garden tomorrow, make sure everything is in place, want to come with me?" Ryder questions the blonde who nods before the words are completely out of her mouth.

"Um, yes! Of course, I can't believe I haven't already seen this place." Ryder is starting to think Penelope is more excited than she is. "Ten days left."

"You're counting down," Ryder states with a small nod. She shouldn't be surprised.

"It's marked on all my calendar," Chuckling, Ryder shakes her head along with the others before she sits back and opens the bag of chocolate in her lap. The rest of the night is spent full of laughter, bad jokes, and more junk food than all five women combined should ever eat.

Groaning, Ryder curls up into a tight ball and places a hand over her mouth when heavy waves of nausea wash over her. She probably shouldn't have had that last bag of chips. Or those last few cookies. Or- oh, it doesn't matter anymore.

Stumbling to her feet, Ryder rushes to the bathroom and falls to the floor just in time to lose the contents of her stomach into the toilet. She really hadn't missed this.

Ryder rests a hand over her stomach, rubbing softly in hopes to relieve the tight pain she feels. Her free hand tries to hold her hair back but when she gags again, she uses that same hand to hold the side of the toilet.

"Alright," A soft voice says from behind her before her hair is pulled out of her face. "Okay," A hand rubs up and down her back and Ryder sighs, resting her forehead against the cold porcelain. She's really glad she cleaned the bathroom yesterday and she feels too bad care about any germs gathered since then.

"You think you're done?" Ryder nods in answer to Emily's question and lets the older woman help her to her feet. She flushes the toilet before moving towards the sink. She pins her hair back with a clip before washing her mouth out.

"Thanks," She whispers to Emily, her throat still burning. Ryder grabs her toothbrush and toothpaste, eager to get the nasty taste out of her mouth.

"I'll go get you some water, maybe some tea to settle your stomach," Emily says, rubbing Ryder's shoulder one more time before quietly exiting the bathroom.

With one hand still resting against her stomach, Ryder brushes her teeth thoroughly before following behind her friend. Despite still not feeling all that well, the young woman smiles at the sight that greets her. She'd made it to bed before passing out but the others didn't.

Penelope and Nat lie awkwardly across the couch while JJ sleeps in one of the chairs, her head resting against her hand. Emily must've been on the pile of blankets on the floor.

"Feel any better?" Emily asks her in a whisper when Ryder sits on one of the barstools across from her, sleepily watching her pour hot water into a mug with a teabag.

"Not so nauseous," Ryder says and nods her thanks when Emily hands her the hot drink. "Sorry for waking you."

"I'm a light sleeper," Emily waves her off before pouring her own cup of tea. "You sure you're feeling okay? You look a little pale."

"Yeah, just," Ryder huffs, waving a hand in the air. "All the junk food. Too much chocolate has always made me sick, plus being pregnant. Guess it was just too much."

"Finish your tea, get some more sleep. I'm sure you'll feel much better in the morning," Glancing towards the oven clock, Emily rephrases. "Well, later this morning. And Spencer will be back."

"Hm," Ryder hums, a smile pulling her lips up at the mention of her fiancé. "You think he had a good time...out?" Derek had been very cryptic about what he had in mind for boy's night out. Ryder hadn't been worried about what they were going to do, she'd just been worried Spencer wouldn't enjoy himself.

"I'm sure he had fun," Emily smiles softly with a small nod. "But not too much." She's quick to add. "I can't believe you guys are going to Hawaii for your honeymoon."

"It may be a little cliché, but I've always wanted to go. It's just so beautiful and Spencer loves the heat and I love the ocean." Ryder is sure to keep her voice quiet as she slowly sips her drink. She and Spencer had decided where to take their honeymoon. Ryder hadn't even been sure if they'd get one but Spencer did everything to make sure it happened. Though it's only for a couple of days, she couldn't be happier.

"I'm not sure if I should tell you to take pictures," Emily says with a thoughtful look. "Wouldn't that be like taking work with you?"

"Spencer will probably have to pry the camera out of my hands," Ryder admits with a crooked grin.

"Well, if anyone deserves a break, it's you guys," Emily's words are sincere as she thinks about the last few months. With the car accident, then Mark. All while Ryder is pregnant. That kind of stress is not good for anyone, much less an unborn child. And poor Spencer, he worries so much, Emily thinks his hair will start greying soon.

Ryder lifts her hand to cover her mouth when a yawn breaks lose. Her eyes water at the strength of it and Emily stands. "Alright, let's get you back to bed." Without arguing, Ryder lets Emily lead her back to her bedroom and lies in bed before the older woman lifts the covers over her.

Ryder can't help the quiet snort that escapes her. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were the one about to be a mom," She mumbles and Emily laughs, rolling her eyes fondly.

"Get some rest, young lady," She says playfully and pats Ryder's shoulder before exiting the bedroom, retaking her place in the living room.

Oof, it's never fun getting sick. I can't eat to much sweets or I will.

Anyway, I really wanted to have more girl bonding time in this for you guys but I just couldn't come up with anything! I've been stuck on that first scene since my last update but I couldn't move past so I just ended it early. If you guys want more girl time, let me know. Maybe with ideas and promts? I'll do my best!

I loved that bit with Emily. She's such a good friend.

Though I feel like that^ was a little disappointing, I just couldn't get past it and wanted to keep moving forward with the story and get some chapters out for you guys.

The wedding is soon! So soon, you guys...let's hope we can make it there without anymore problems...
