Thanks for reading and reviewing! All your comments make my day and bring much needed joy to my life! So thank you!

I've started posting my other CM story, The Bartender, if anyone is interesting in checking that out. Updates are once a week. (If I don't forget, oops) I would love if you guys gave it a read!

Words: 1,521

Ryder smiles as she puts the car in park before removing the keys. She looks over at Spencer before opening her door and climbing out. Mr. and Mrs. Foley are waiting for them as they approach.

"Spencer," Ryder uses her fiancé's hand to pull him closer to her. "This is Robert and Selena Foley."

"Lovely to finally meet you," Selena smiles at the young man in front of her as her husband nods. "Well, you guys ready?"

"Yes," Ryder grins, barely able to contain her excitement. Spencer hadn't been as hard to convince as she thought he would've been when she brought up Willow the boxer. And she may or may not have shown him pictures and he couldn't say no after seeing them.

Robert and Selena lead them around back to the pen Willow is currently napping in. The dog's head perks up when Mr. Foley lets out a sharp whistle and she comes to him, tail wagging. "See," Ryder whispers to Spencer with a smirk and he nods. "Hey, girl." Bending down, Ryder holds out her hands, and Willow marches to her happily, letting the woman pet her. "Remember me?"

"I'd say," Selena says as she watches the interaction.

Spencer carefully kneels down next to Ryder, hesitantly placing a hand on the brown dogs back. He'd never been a big animal person. Not that he doesn't like them, they just weren't his thing. But Ryder had been so excited and Willow is well trained. And with everything going on, it couldn't hurt to have a dog around.

"She likes you," Ryder chuckles when Willow licks Spencer's hand. The man in return scrunches his nose slightly, wiping his palm on his shirt.

"Garcia's might steal her." Spencer informs her and Ryder snorts, nodding her head in agreement.

"She can try," She says with a sly smile. "So, we're really doing this?"

"Yeah," Spencer nods. It's not like he can say no to her even if he wants too. "You know," He starts when the Foley's leave to gather a leash, giving the couple a moment alone with their new animal. "If our family keeps growing," He rests his chin in her shoulder, chest against her back with his hands on her hips. "We'll need a bigger place."

"Are you suggesting we move?" Ryder questions, turning her head towards him slightly.

"I love our place, you know I do," Spencer lifts his head and looks down at her. "But more space can't hurt and with..." He trails off. He doesn't need to say it, Ryder knows what he means. "And then the baby. He or she will need room to, you know, run around and play."

"Like a yard?" Ryder turns in his arms, wrapping her own around his neck. "With a house..."

"Yeah, like a yard." Spencer nods, his grin stretching over his face. He leans down to place a kiss to Ryder's lips before pulling back as footsteps approach.

"Do not worry, I've already cleared her a place in our room, she has her own bed and everything. Just need to pick up some food." Ryder tells them as they load Willow into the back seat of the car. The loyal dog jumps in easily, sitting on the seat, her eyes closing when Selena places her hand on her head.

"Here's what she'd been eating." Robert hands her a small bag of food. "Boxer's can have sensitive stomachs, it's best you don't change her food."

"Thank you," Ryder says as Spencer takes the bag, going to place it in the trunk. "For everything."

"We know you'll give her a good home," Selena hugs the younger woman, pulling back with a smile. "And like I said, consider it a wedding gift."

Waving goodbye to the older married couple, Ryder and Spencer climb back into the car. Willow watches the scenery go by out the window, sitting carefully in her seat. Since they have enough dog food for a few days, they decide to head straight home and pick up more later.

"Come on," Ryder calls to the dog as she opens the car door. She's glad her apartment building allowed animals. She doesn't know what she'd do if they didn't.

Willow walks dutifully between her and Spencer the entire way up. When they open the door, she slowly walks inside, sniffing around at the new surroundings and smells. Ryder and Spencer both show Willow to her bed and the dog easily lies down on it.

"We can take her to the park tomorrow," Ryder suggests with a hopeful look at her fiancé. It was the weekend, he didn't have to go into work and even if they got a case, he'd work from home for this one. They had worked it out with the team, Spencer doesn't feel comfortable leaving her right now and Hotch readily agreed. They'd conference him in through facetime like with Garcia and he could help with any case that way.

"Sounds great," Spencer smiles down at her, pulling her closer to him with an arm around her waist. "Come on, I'll make us lunch." Ryder follows behind him, sitting on one of the barstools and turns her open laptop towards her. The screen lights up, showing the list of available houses in the area. They've been looking, but nothing's turned up.

Sighing, Ryder folds the page down but doesn't exit out of it. Who knew house searching could be so tiring?

Just when Spencer sets their food down, joining her side, Ryder's phone dings, and she glances over to see who it is. "Huh," She hums, picking up the device to read the message. "Morgan's just finished renovating his newest house. Was wondering if I'd take pictures of it for him." She tells Spencer who nods to let her know he'd heard. "We could stop by tomorrow? Maybe after we take Willow out."

"Yeah," Spencer nods. He didn't mind. And he has to admit, he's excited to introduce the newest member of their family to the others. "Just tell me when and where."

Laughing, Ryder shakes her head before turning to her food.

Pulling up outside the house, Ryder can't help her eyes from widening. It's beautiful. She'd seen a picture here and there of the properties Morgan's worked on, but seeing one in person is different.

Derek is waiting. He comes out to greet them, smiling and hugging Ryder as Spencer opens the back door to let Willow out. The dutiful dog staying by his side as the clasps his leash onto her harness. She has a collar but Ryder has never liked the idea of dragging anyone around by their necks. Not that Willow would pull against it, but still.

"And who is this?" Derek asks in surprise, bending down to let the dog sniff his hand before petting her.

"This is Willow." Ryder proudly introduces. "The newest member of our family."

Chuckles, Morgan looks up at the couple and shakes his head. "Never took you for a dog person, pretty boy."

"Yeah, well, she's impossible to say no to," Spencer says, wrapping his arm around Ryder's waist.

"Who? Ryder or the dog?" Derek questions while standing back to his full height.

"Both," Spencer's answer draws laughs form everyone. Even Willow wags her tail cheerfully.

"Well, shall we?" Ryder holds up her camera and gestures to the house.

"Yeah, come on, I'll show you around." Morgan leads them to the house. Ryder decides she'll see the inside and get pictures of the exterior after.

The house is beautiful. That's all Ryder can think. It's not furnished but she can see it in her mind easily. High ceilings, spaceful living room, modestly large kitchen. Three bedrooms, two and a half bath. A small office room that could really be turned into anything. Like a studio, Ryder thinks to herself. The back yard off the porch is fenced with a nice, tall, wooden fence. Green grass stretches over the whole lawn. Big enough for a dog and a child to run around in. Maybe even two kids. Shaking her head, Ryder clears her throat as they group makes their way back inside.

"I really appreciate this, Ry," Morgan tells her and she shakes her head, smiling.

"No problem," Looking around them, Ryder asks. "So, it's not even listed yet?"

"Not yet,"

"So, no offers or anything?" Spencer's lips twitch up and he turns to her with a knowing look.

"No," Morgan says slowly, looking back and forth between the couple. "I'm I reading this situation right?"

"Depends," Spencer shrugs.

"If you think your two most favorite people want to buy your house,"

"Then yes, you are," Spencer finishes for her and Morgan snorts at them before smiling.

"Didn't even know you guys were looking."

"It's a new development." Spencer absentmindedly scratches Willow's head when she sits by his side. "Hadn't had any luck."

"Until now," Ryder says and Morgan points to both of them.

"Stop doing that, it's creepy." The couple chuckle but soon get back to business. They have a few things to go over, but their sure they just found their future home.

A dog and a house in one chapter? Oh, my. Good things are happening...I wonder how long it'll stay that way...

Anyway! Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter and let me know what you think! You guys are the best and I love you! Reading your comments bring me so much needed joy to my life. Things have been crazy lately and not in a good way.

Though I did just get a job, I haven't started but hopefully it'll be good. It's not like a forever job, just a for now job. But yeah.

Thanks again for reading!
