I flew down to admire my work. Finally the roof for the midnight alley was complete. Now it was time to light it up so mobs don't come and spawn.
After a quick trip to my starter base, I began the long process of lighting up the alleyway. Once I ran out of torches, I decided to see if I had any in my chest monster so I could continue.
As I entered the Chest Monster, I noticed a strange redish glow from the back of the building. I cautiously walked over to see a ̴̢̡̧̫̫̯̯͚̳͈̻̗̠̪̓̀͑ṣ̵̜͉͗̿ṫ̷̰͠r̶̝̣̊̀â̷̧͖̘͎͉̻̻̠̫̬̰͜n̸̨̛̻̯̎̾̈̋͗̔̿̏̇̍̏̃̂͜g̵͈̜̞̫̹̲̅͑̈́̌̌͠e̵̪̗͉͇̩̝͔̳̙̙̭͑̌̂̌̿̇̍̓̏͗̋̈́͆͝ͅ ̶̳̱̥̹̥̜̩͐̉͐̉ǵ̷̛̺̪̖̻͚̣̭̘̠͖̙̾̾͛̈́̓̍̑̊̀͠͝͠͝l̶̤͉͚̰̪̪͙͐̆̅̅̋̾̐͘̕͝͝o̵̘͔̮̐ẅ̷͙͕̖́́̑́̆̃̿͊͆̚ȉ̴̲̖̼͇̳̓͐̈́̑̅̃́̂̚n̶̡̦͓̲̦̒g̸̨̮̞̦̻͕̩̎͜͝ ̷͎̥̯̏r̵̢̭͇̳̫̰͔̓̈̆̽͑̀̑̐̕͠͝e̷̢̨̢͙͇̻̯͚͇̮͚̹͚̤͂͊̋͂̓͑̑̿̐͝d̷̡̪̰̯͕̦̲͙̯̻͇̥̏͂̌̋̀̎̃͝ ̸̛̙͖̱̦̰́ͅͅh̷̻͎̣̘͓͔͙͖̋́͒̎è̴̡̮͙̝͕͚̥̻̿̓̽̾̈̽͌͜ǎ̷̩̦͓̭͔̩̟̠̆̓̿̀̈͋̐̃̂͋̒͠͝ͅr̶̡̛͓̲͓̝̠̟̦̪͙͈͈̣͆̏̑̌̈̃̊̊̅͛͛̅̎̚͜ͅţ̷̻̹͔͓̙͚͍̪̮̱̀̔̆̐͑̃̀̽̋̇̌͠ ̴̰̦̓͗̃̾͒̾̕̚͝͝ͅǧ̶̢̡̟̞̩͕̝̅͑͆̇̚ĺ̴̰̳̩̓͊̊̈́i̷̢̢̪̖̲̦̯̰̜̻̥͊̄͗͜ţ̵̢̯̘͚̝͍̠͕͔̓̀͊̑̃̐̽̊͝͠ç̵̡͕͖̞̯̳̟̱͓̰̫̈́̉h̶̨̧͉̳̮͎̐̋i̵̘̻͉̹̱̜͙͚͖̻͒̆̀̑̈́͗͝n̸̞̩̂͒̌̆̎̎̃͛̿̆̕g̷̛̹̤̟̬͙͍̱̫͉̩̲̳̪̗͔̉͒͆̽̐̊͋͝ ̴̡͖̲͌̌͋͒̄̉̉͋̃͆̃̕͘ì̴̡̛̹̪̥̤̓̒̚n̶̡̰͙̲̟̦͔̹̟͋̓̋̄͒͝ ̷̻̙͙͕͕͍̩͙͎̜̟͈̋̒̓̎̀̎̈́̆͜͝ă̴̢̛͈̤̝̈́̔͋̏ń̸̢̯̊̎̎̓̈́̓͂̕͝d̴̦͉̤͙͐̉̍̀̉̈́̽ ̵͖͇̈̀̂̉̋̔̈́͠o̶̧̦̯͆͆̃̂͆ͅu̷͇̒͛̋́̈́̈̆̒͛̅̏̀̇̓͌ṯ̶̥́ ̶͓̲̝̩̩̍̇̂̈́́̉́̓̈̋̔̔o̷̧̫̫̞̯͚̬̟̥̙͚͒̄͘f̷͚͖͙͇̜͔͉͚͆͋̉͂̏͋̈͘͘͜ ̸̨̡͔̥̖̱̤͓̪͖̈́͋e̵̡͚̜̣͉͋̂̍̊̆̃̒͛̾͘͝͝͠͝ẍ̴̼͈̖̩̫̠̟̫̊̓̑̈́͑͌̋͌ī̶̛̻͚̰͚͂͌́̒͊̌̎̏̽̒͝s̶̡̛̺̼̘̺͖̟̜͖͇͈̞͖͙͑̆̏̊̂̽̌̀̕͠t̴̨̨̮̜̲̤̦̼͍̪͓̊̾̾̄͛͛͜è̶̩̘̤̙̭̭̺̰̽͒͘n̶̢̧̛̺̙͇̯̫͓̤̱̮̘̥̋̾̐̈́̒̕ͅc̸̡̪̲̻̝͚̽́̓́̈́̉̔̇̂̕̕͠ę̷̳̰͖̩̮̠̠͖̜̦͗̊̎̋͆̋̐́̽͜͝,̷̨̰̤͍̯͙̜̙̲̪͂̐̒̌͑̌͋̿̂̏ ̶̮͓͖̒̏̏̏̃̇̑̈́̏͘̕͝͝͝͝k̶̢̢̜̣̮͎̣̼̝̞̤̋̄͜ͅi̵̛͙̘̔̈́̆̍̈́͒̋͗̚͝ǹ̴̨̻̙̹͚͙̤̫̪͉̭̐̈́̕͜͜͜͝͠d̵̥̥̻͍̜̔͗̽ ̶̘͈̺̩̟̤̩̥̲̳̏̕͝ͅǫ̶̢̩̪̰̣̫̼̋̎f̶͚̟̝̠͎̟̗̄̌̈́͂́̓͌͘̚̕͝͝ ̵̣̲͌̆̍͑̔̀͝l̷̝͑̈͝͝i̴͍̺̬͇͓͈̦͖̥͔͇̩͈̐̍͊͜ͅk̸̼̫͓̯̫̗̜̈́͒͐̋̈́̾̚͝͝è̴̫̺͍̜̑̉͛̋͑̚͝ͅ ̵̰̬̝͚̘̉̈̾͊̊̊͊̃̊̀̓͘̚[̵̧͙̠̱̭̥̐͌͘r̷̡̛̙̗̜̥̗͖̪̜̬̓̐͋͌̑̇͆̉͋͠é̴̡̨̛̯̟͚̱̌̈́̎̉̑̆͛͒͗d̴̞͙͖̪̘͍̟̀͑͌͆͂͝ā̷̯̮͍̟̫͉̻͝͝c̶͆ͅt̸̢̨̛̫͔͈͉̻͋̏̈́̑͋̄̐̄͊͜͝e̸̛̤̝̠̳͕̪͇͎̣̯̼̤̪͆̅̍̑̆̆̍̓̈̊͛̕͝d̴̨̢̮̣͎̯̟̪̭̼̝͇̯̳̫̂̔̌̎͂̀̊̓͊͒̀͝]̸̦̜͔͎͚̉̈́̒͆͂̆͋̒̍̊͝͝.̸͔̤̲̼̞̖̲̻̺̖̆̽̈́̋̚͝. Jimmy POV
I woke up to a bunch of commotion from my communicator.
Where are you
JIMMYYYY
Please answer
The meetings about to start
The meeting! I'd completely forgotten about that. I jumped out of bed, clipped on my elytra and set off towards the Boatem Pole.
Once I arrived, I looked into the hole and saw my friends talking at the bottom of the Boatem Hole . I landed next to them.
"Hi Jimmy!" Martin called.
"Looks like we can start the meeting now," Impulse said.
"Sorry guys I overslept a bit."
"It's fine," Mumbo said. "Well in today's meeting-"
he started but was cut of by all of our communicators buzzing, signalling a server announcement.
Hermits, it has come to my attention the there is a glitch on Hermitcraft. If you see anything out of the ordinary, do not approach it and report it to me immediately.
okie dokie!
Okay X
"What do you guys think that's all about?" Pearl asked.
Grian, who had been silent until this point piped in, "I don't think we should worry about it. It's probably nothing."

I was very sceptical of Grian. He seemed... off. Like he wasn't himself. I wasn't the only one he noticed his change in personality, though. It seemed the others did too.
"Grian, are you... okay?" Mumbo asked.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be," he responded a bit too confidently for Grian.
Grian looked at me and I noticed something strange. His normally blue eyes now gray with a red tint. Before I could say anything he pulled a dagger out from his sleeve and threw it at my head. I closer my eyes and moved out of the way a little.
I looked to my left to see the dagger lodged into the stone. Quickly, myself and the other Hermits (minus Grian) quickly rocket out of the hole with our elytras.
We all landed on the Pearl's partially finished mountain.
"W- what was that about," Pearl asked out of breath.
"I don't know..." Scar replied, "We need to tell Xisuma and stop Grian."
"That wasn't Grian."
Martin POV
"That wasn't Grian," Jimmy said.
I looked at him confused.
"What do you mean it 'wasn't Grian'? We all saw him and he just threw a knife at your head!"
"He didn't do that, at least not in the right mind. His eyes were red, kind of like 3rd life. Maybe it was the glitch Xisuma was talking about."
"Only one way to find out," Impulse said as he pulled out his communicator.
X, do you know what the glitch is called?
Let me check
Its called '3rdLifeBM.mp4'
come to boatem ASAP
omw
Xisuma POV
As I flew to Boatem, I was nervous.
Martin is never this direct. Whats wrong?
I landed to see the Hermits from Boatem. Except Grian?
"Ello. Where's Grian?" I asked.
"Well that's the problem," Pearl responded.
"What do you mean?"
"Well he did try and throw a knife at my head..." Jimmy commented.
"But it wasn't him it was the glitch," Mumbo said quickly.
"I'm sorry, what the hell are you guys talking about," I asked.
They proceeded to explain 3rd life and what the boogeyman was for about an hour until I completely understood what was happening.
"Is there any way you can fix it?" Scar asked.
"Well, I can but you would need to hold him in place." I responded.
"So basically you want us to track and hold down an armed psychopath while you fix his code?" Pearl asked.
"I- uh yes?"
"Okay I have a plan," Martin said before he started to explain.

I flew to my base and landed next to the Chest Monster. I pulled out my weapons to see what I had.
Okay so I have 4 knifes, a sharp V sword and around a stack of explosives. I can use the explosives as a distraction and-
I was cut from my thoughts when I heard fireworks , signalling another player(s) was nearby. I quickly gathered up my weapons, slipped a knife up my sleeve and proceeded to approach the player.
"I- uh- Grian, Hello!" Scar greeted
"What do you want Scar."
"Well I was thinking, I could talk you and ask what's wrong?" he said, more of a question than a statement.
Before I could reply, I felt a few people grab me and held me down so I couldn't access my weapons.
"Let me go!" I demanded.
"If you don't move we don't have to hurt you," Martin said.
Xisuma, Mumbo and Pearl dropped down next to Scar. The admin then pulled up my code. As he started altering my code, I passed
Martin POV
I felt Grian go limp in my arms and started to feel concerned.
"Don't worry, he just passed out," Xisuma said.
Impulse, Jimmy and I picked up the small Hermit and laid him down on a bed nearby. I felt bad for him, he wasn't doing anything wrong it was the stupid curse.
As Xisuma finished terminating the glitch, Grian began to regain consciousness.
Grian POV
I woke up in a bed with a headache. It took me a moment to realize what had just happened.
Hermits, the glitch had been terminated from HC. Please let me know if anything like this happens again.
Once I sat up, the others seemed to notice I was awake.
"Are you okay Grian?" Mumbo asked.
"Yeah... S- sorry about that," I said shyly.
"Don't be sorry Gri. You did nothing wrong," Jimmy said.
"B- but I tried to hurt you guys and-"
"Grian, it was the glitch. You did nothing wrong," Xisuma started, cutting me off. "But seriously, are you okay?"
"Well, I have a bit of a headache... but that's it."
"You should rest G," Pearl suggested.
"Yeah, g'night. And thank you guys for helping me."

8 149Quest of the Seal Bearers - Book 1: The Warriors Return
On the distant world of Mendala, a rash of mysterious attacks have left many towns destroyed, and there are rumors of an army of monsters. Fantasma, leader of the global government, and his colleagues are determined to find cause of these attacks. but the search for answers points them to an ancient relic, The Book of War, a cursed artifact that can create indestructible creatures loyal to its master. It’s been over twelve thousand years since the Book of War was last opened. It was believed to be destroyed during the Great War by the Twelve Warriors and Daughter of the Sun at the cost of their lives. Now, it seems the book has resurfaced, and its new master is seeking to forever tip the balance of power. The stage is being set for another Great War but who can stop the Book of War once and for all? Meanwhile on Earth, the teen members of Greengale’s Action and Adventure Club are preparing for their yearly trip when they suddenly stumble upon a secret their parents have been keeping for years. Now their world is being turned upside down as they struggle to understand the legacy that ties their fate to Mendala and the Book of War. Is their destiny set in stone, or will they forge a different path? No matter what, their choices will bring forth a new era for Mendala. ------------------------------ If you love vast fantasy worlds, rich, fleshed-out characters, and a adventure where your'e constantly discovering new things along the way, then this is definitely a story you'll enjoy. This is a slow-burn high fantasy / adventure with many characters and intersecting plotlines. It’s a quest so lots of adventuring, exploring, and character moments, but not a ton of fighting/action (though there are definitely some great fight scenes as payoff to the buildup). Because it’s a fantasy world with lots of people and new concepts, I try to make it easy so that you don’t have to memorize anything. The narrative will constantly remind you of important people/places/concepts as you keep moving forward. Some things won’t be fully explained right at the beginning to avoid information overload. My goal is that the reader will learn things organically as the story progresses. I use two mechanisms to help with the intersecting plotlines. - Each chapter is named for the (main) plotline it’s following and which part. - At the beginning of the chapter, and anytime there is a scene shift, the location is listed. Also, though this is definitely a portal-fantasy (isekai) it’s different from the standard isekai, especially since the world transfer doesn’t happen immediately. It’s not Lit-RPG but characters gain powers and grow over time. Also, it’s a group of teens that transfer, not just one central character. All of the teens are distinct characters, with their own character-arcs, relationships, powers, growth etc. Hopefully you’ll find this interesting as you’ll see the world and story from multiple perspectives. The story is always in 3rd Person (Omniscient) POV so that it’s not jarring as perspectives shift.

I won’t say this is a fiction, In fact it’s just things I suppose I need to put out there! Some things might be synonymous to a story, mainly my story. Interesting tidbits I’ve wrote down while high, sad or otherwise distracted in life. Hopefully it’s received well! This is for those who believe they are alone, you aren’t.
8 116Dekker's Dozen: The Last Watchmen
When a demon-possessed tree tries to impose its will on the universe, the future turns dark. But what does Dekker want? The leader of the only mercenary squad capable of standing in the enemy's way would be content if his ex-girlfriend and business partner promised not to stab him again. As he and his eleven teammates track down the intergalactic assassin who stalked his family for generations, they encounter Ezekiel, a mysterious man claiming to be a time-traveler and ancient prophet. Ezekiel claims Dekker will responsible for the annihilation of all reality--but worse, he knows all of Dekker's secrets: that he wields an ancient, celestial weapon, was once married to a terrorist, and is the last member of the Watchmen--an ancient secret society with one purpose. At Ezekiel's insistence, and with a super-weapon in the hands of warring armies, Dekker and his team must do the unthinkable to prevent the Sun's annihilation before his archenemy can bring what Ezekiel calls "the divine engines of reality" to a grinding halt--breaking all of existence--destroying all that is, will be, and ever was! Steampunk time-travel, cyborg ninjas, plant-spore-controlled unicorn zombies, a deep-space plague, ghost warships, alien cat-people, living planets, and star destroying Hassidic superweapons converge in one epic, but doomed, timeline.
