Chapter 16,
Oh No, I've Fallen
You two are just alike, so how can you act any more different?
When I finally got off the phone with Charlize, I wanted to go for a walk since the stars were out and I wanted to pretend that I was the main character in my life for two minutes without anyone looking or catching me.
Sometimes a girl wants to pretend they're in a Disney movie with music playing in the background just after they got their hearts broken or just after they yelled at their parents for not being there enough, I don't know man.
I grabbed my airpods and phone before texting my mom who was currently out and hanging out with the other parents as if she was a teen again, I let her know that I was going to take a walk around set and that I would possibly also get something to eat before heading back.
She sends me the okay and I leave the trailer all happy like an idiot, what I found pretty weird is that fact that I hate walking anywhere at day time because everyone is out of their house and I'd meet them but then the night comes and I'm able to travel the world without worrying.
Walking around and looking at how the stars shimmer were my favorite, they looked like glitters that covered the midnight blue sky, music blasted through my ears.
All I thought about were ways I could have apologized and told Mason that I wanted to restart all over, I wanted to tell him that I didn't mean to hate him but it just happened and I wanted to take back my words, but it's too late.
Maybe this was for the best anyways, I shouldn't be falling into anything with my costar, especially during work as it could end up as a distraction and I didn't want to get side tracked due to a boy.

But that doesn't mean that we couldn't have been friends, I had zero chill over a facial expression and now look where that gets me, I have friends yes but the person that I want oh so dearly, hates me.
Sometimes I wish that I would think before speaking because a lot of the words that leave my mouth can and have hurt others people's feelings, which I always apologize for but still, always think before speaking about anything.
I turned the corner and ordered an Uber, I was hungry and I wanted to get something to eat, I didn't even know what I was going to eat but I knew that I was out to eat something.
Have you ever felt scared to go into an Uber or something like that because of how many people pretend to be the drivers and then try to take you, like you never know if that's your actual Uber or if it's someone pretending that it is.
Follow up question, I don't ever get the point of being a bad person and kidnapping a child, like why would you ever think that taking a child was going to solve all of your problems? You're going to jail and the child is either suffering from all the trauma or passed way.
Follow up, follow up question, do you think anything creepy and then end up creeping yourself out to the point you will text someone you haven't spoken to since you were still a little egg just so that you have someone to talk to? Because I do, and right now I don't know how to text as my best friends are either taking a nap or busy.
So who do I text? Miguel or Madeleine, Madeleine was hanging out with Walker as the two had some scenes together and wanted to practice the lines, Miguel was so obviously going to call Iris so that they can spend time together and Walked isn't even considered as he's with Madeleine.

"What are you doing out in the dark?"
A voice groggily asked, I got a little startled since I was deep in my thought and wasn't worried about my surroundings like I should have been, I turned around to check who was talking to me and was faced with a messy haired, tired Mason.
He looked like he just got up from a nap and was going to walk around for a bit so he doesn't fall back to sleep, I shrugged my shoulders before answering his question.
"Well, I'm going to get some food. Do you maybe want to come with me?"
I offered as I waited for the Uber to come, he looked like he was contemplating whether or not he wanted to come or stay but in the end he agreed.
"Yeah, let me go get my phone and wallet. I'll be back."
Mason told me as he turned around and walked away, so I waited for him as well as I was waiting for my Uber.
I suppose that he isn't so bad and we're getting somewhere other than telling each other to go die in a hole or something.
While waiting for him, I decided to text Charlize and let her know that me and Mason were going out to get something to eat, she was quick to start saying we moved on from our hating stages which was good.
Then she sent a voice message that I played aloud since it made me laugh.
You two are just alike, so how can you act any more different?
The recording said, I smiled and sent the shrugging man emoji before turning my phone off when I heard footsteps coming my way.
"We should walk, I don't think my Uber is going to show up any time soon."
I stated, Mason nodded his head and together we walked to McDonald's, the only fast food restaurant that is always being craved at night.

The Cosmic Interloper
Synopsis: A cyborg transhuman escapes her corporate indenture and through unfathomably unlikely circumstances, she ends up in a fantasy world of full of unique magic, angry people with sharp implements, and the whole flavor-spectrum of divine entities. Hilarity ensues. Features: - No blue boxes or cultivation, this is not a LitRPG nor about martial arts - Hard-ish Sci-Fi meets hard-ish magic - Generally trying to keep this "rational" Rationale: My primary goal with The Cosmic Interloper is to write something that I myself would enjoy reading. Of course, that’s not the only motivation, but I think it’s the most important one for me to keep in mind, especially as the author. In fact, this whole story came about because after consuming oodles of fiction, I found myself craving a very specific type of story which I couldn’t find many examples of. Then I asked myself, “why not write it myself?” and here we are. Disclaimer: In general, while I’m not writing a comedy, I do intend for this story to be funny and a bit wacky or absurd. That said though, I am using this story as a vehicle to explore some potentially dark topics including (but not limited to) slavery, speciesism/racism, and existential questions of self, consciousness, and identity. Still, I’m going to leave the “traumatizing content” tags off, because I don’t feel that what I’ve written so far (or plan on writing) exceeds the threshold that would be necessary for me to tag it thusly. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way she views the world is not the objective truth (if such a thing even exists).

The Sea of Destiny
[Let me be straight with you. This is trash, like old dime store novel trash. Don't expect grandiose writing, anything profound, or much beyond being free of spelling errors. Like my profile says, it’s hopefully like a salty snack, decent and satisfying for people looking for this kind of thing (at least that's my hope). It is simple, weird, and most likely growing in ridiculousness as it rapidly escalates.] Michael just wants to get away after a rough breakup. He figures some time alone cruising on a sick jet ski will help clear his head. After a small series of mishaps he winds up as humanities last hope adrift at sea after nuclear devastation destroys the mainland. Will he be able to solve the mystery of the bowl of the ancients before nuclear winter freezes over his dwindling food supply? Who are these mysterious women he keeps meeting, and will he even care about the talents they bring to the table, or will he be too focused on how they keep ruining his carefully laid plans for survival at sea? Read this cheesy short story to see for yourself, and discover the true mystery behind the hand of fate.
