《Lust | JiKook》스물

"It's like a natural aphrodisiac, built into my body."
Jimin chuckled softly, watching the way that Jungkook's eyebrows immediately shot up after the words were spoken.
The two of them sat on the roof of Jimin's apartment building; somewhere that they definitely shouldn't be, but one of the only places where they could find privacy and solitude. One of the only places where they could talk, and not have to worry about somebody else trying to shut them up or hold them back.
"What?" Jimin asked, laughing at Jungkook's expression. "You asked, I answered. The devil made me smell real damn good, so that it would be easier for people to fall for me." He paused. "However, it also messes up your mind. Toys with the one section of your brain that makes you crave touch and comfort. And then basically all I have to do is touch you to seal the deal."
Jungkook hummed, looking out onto the skyline that he could see from where they sat. It was midday, the breeze gentle against their skin.
"So once you've got your mind set on someone, they've got no chance do they?" He asked, Jimin shaking his head and resting his hand atop Jungkook's. He played with the younger's fingers, toying with a new ring around his finger. "Why'd you go for me?" He exhaled. "I know I already asked you this when you first revealed yourself to me, but I was all emotional and harsh then, so I'd like to try asking again."
Jimin smiled softly, sliding a bit closer to Jungkook so that their hips touched.
"There's something about you, Jungkook. Something so interesting, that you quickly became the only one I knew I wanted the moment I saw you." He tried to explain. "The second time I saw you was an accident. But after that deep down I knew I wanted to keep you around. I mean of course I tried to deny it because I'm a demon and - no offence - but I shouldn't've been busying myself with one human when I'm supposed to be busying myself with at least five a day."

Jungkook couldn't help but frown, looking over at Jimin as he spoke. "And then everything started to go downhill once you left and I knew that I was starting to lose my... Demonic touch, for lack of a better description." Jimin chuckled to himself. "You're so mesmerizing that even demons fall for you. How's that for an ego boost?"
Jungkook laughed in return, shaking his head softly before resting it against the demon's shoulder.
"You, a demon. It's still so hard to believe." He sighed, closing his eyes.
"I'd be worried if it was easy." Jimin responded, shrugging. "I'm just... Surprised, that I haven't been like, swallowed up by the ground or something yet because of the devil finding out that I told you."
"How would she find out?" Jungkook asked. "Surely, somebody would have to tell her, and Taehyung's the only one that knows."
Jimin hesitated.
"...Yes." He sighed. "But, I feel like she already knows everything, before we even tell her. Whoever tells her gets some loyalty points I guess. Or ass kissing points. Either or."
Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows.
"You'd think that if she already knew what you did, then you'd already be dead, no?" He asked, Jimin looking down and sighing deeply.
"I'm already a dead man. She's just waiting for me to accept it to the point that I'll tell her myself." He shrugged. "Her most disappointing demon admitting that he is such; the cherry on top, I guess."
It was silent for a moment. That seemed to happen a lot, possibly because Jimin said a whole bunch of things that were maybe best left without a reply. Maybe because silence was comforting for them at this point. Both of their lives were so loud, sometimes silence was exactly what they needed.
"Can I ask," Jungkook finally spoke up, wrapping his arms around Jimin's waist gently. "How do you talk to her? How do you... Go down to hell, I mean. And what's it like?"
Jimin exhaled, appreciating the warmth of Jungkook's body. He focused on the warmth, and tried his hardest to put the pain he felt with each new breath to the back of his mind. It was hard, because each inhale felt like he was being punched in the ribs, but he was going to ignore. He was beginning to get good at ignoring.

"It's not fun." He answered. "It's harsh. It's harsh, and it's cruel. It's unforgiving, and it's painful. It's nothing, nothing, compared to the paradise you live in up here." Jungkook listened intently, gulping as the words sunk in. "Up here, you all have things like compassion, and sympathy, forgiveness, and mercy. Those don't exist down where I'm from. All you get there, is harsh and overreacted reactions to trivial decisions."
They both redirected their gazes from the skyline, to each other's eyes; Jimin trying his hardest to read the emotions swimming within Jungkook's. "And how I talk to her..." He smiled softly.
He turned around, Jungkook raising an eyebrow before following suit so that they could still both be facing each other.
"It's a ritual of sorts." Jimin shrugged. "I take one of my hands, usually this one," He raised his left hand. "Then I take something sharp and cut it. I've got to bleed or else it won't work." Jungkook nodding along with the explanation. "Then I whisper a specific thing and press my hands together, closing my eyes really tight. By the time I open them, I'm in hell again."
Jungkook reached forwards, taking hold of Jimin's left hand and stroking his thumb across a faint scar on his palm,
"Well what do you say?" The younger asked. "What's the one little phrase that's the ticket? What're the words that seal the deal."
Jimin hummed softly, curling his fingers around Jungkook's hand and sliding closer. He intertwined their fingers, smiling at the feeling of Jungkook's fingers slotted between his.
"Lust requests an meeting." He whispered. It was weird saying it aloud, without the normal consequences.
"And that's the only way to get down there?" Jungkook asked, looking down at his and Jimin's hands.
"That I know of." He sighed. "It would never work for you though, you don't have demon blood. That's why all of those satanic rituals that humans sometimes do never work." He explained. "The devil doesn't want human blood, what's she going to do with that? It's not something special, considering that there's seven billion of you guys and she's got plenty of demon blood to go around. The only part of a human that she's interested in to be honest, is the soul."
Jungkook's eyebrows shot up.
"The soul?" Jimin nodded. "Why?"
The demon took a moment before answering.
"It's the one thing that she can't make herself." He spoke. "The devil can't forge a soul, that's not something that's in her realm of doing. Every single demon, is the result of her stripping the soul out of somebody who died, and manipulating it until it is something that is unrecognizable to what it once was."
Jungkook chose to close his eyes in an attempt to handle his shock. He merely nodded, not wanting to to open his eyes just yet.
The being he had fallen for, had the soul that was a shell of somebody else's.
"Even you?" He asked softly, hoping that maybe there was some form of loophole. Jimin watched how his bottom lip quivered gently.
"Even me." He nodded, lips twitching into a frown as he felt the way Jungkook squeezed his hand.
Jungkook sighed, finally opening his eyes and looking into Jimin's once more.
"I won't let that matter to me." He breathed. "I won't let that matter to me because you're still my Jimin. Demon or not, unique soul, or not. You're still beautiful to me," He reached up and cupped Jimin's face with his free hand. "Whether I'm under your influence, or not."
And Jungkook's words hurt.
Not emotionally, no, emotionally his words were wonderful to hear. Spreading warmth throughout his entire body, the heat of Jungkook's hand against his skin amplifying.
But physically, the sharp pain that ripped through his chest was too much. He let out a soft sob, scared to even breathe because he knew it would hurt more; tears escaping his eyes as he felt something akin to burning spreading throughout his chest.
And once again, as Jimin's tears slid against his fingers; Jungkook was left in shock.

No More Respawns
Synopsis: The first time Allen died, he was forced back into a living hell where death is temporary, and power is all that matters. With evil and depravity as the rule, tragedy becomes comedy and life becomes an act. Only a deal with a shady god can get him back to his old life, but what happens if there’s nothing left to save? Maybe hell isn’t so bad if you have infinite lives… until you don’t. Needless to say, it’s all fun and games until there’s no more respawns. Foreword: This story is meant primarily as an action adventure and secondarily as a dark and nihilistic comedy. It may not be readily apparent in the beginning, but that's what I have planned (I feel the need to emphasize the dark; don’t rage at me if it gets too ‘traumatizing’ or something). I’m going to take my time with this, so it won’t immediately inundate you with doom and gloom. This is also a comedy, remember? On that note, if for some cursed reason you just can't handle either the references or the jokes, I am willing to battle in the comments. Anyway, I still put a significant amount of effort into the system, so I hope you enjoy that part. It is a little bulky, I'll admit to that, but I wanted to try something new and its more fun when there's more depth to it. Regardless, I still have a lot of fun doing math in the middle of writing a fictional story (/s). I also want to see if I can keep from messing up the pacing. Many times, I end up going too fast because I'm afraid of the story getting boring, which tends to ironically have the opposite effect. I'm still learning I suppose; we'll see how things go. Lastly, please leave reviews and comments, they really mean a lot to me and (usually) help me improve considerably. I'll be asking for feedback in the polls and I do still check the old ones from time to time. Notes: The story takes a bit of time to develop; give it time if you're here for drama, grimdark, or antihero. The system is all blue boxes and I'm not half-assing the numbers. Chapters will be between 1k and 2k words usually. I always use the oxford coma, fight me. Might drop if rating falls below 4 stars, idk. It depends on how my life is going. Cover drawn by yours truly in MS paint. (I have skill, I know)

Children of Danu, People of Skill Book 1. (LitRPG/Gamelit)
Hi all, this is my first attempt at fiction ever. I'm sure it's awful, first attempts at new things usually are. Hopefully you can find something you like in it. I had a great deal of fun writing it. It's a basic Litrpg/Game, God sends you to a new world to do their bidding plot. I Know I did too much telling and not enough showing. I'm working on that. The underlying system is one haven't seen or done much. a full Point Buy system, like Gurps, Champions or the Hero system. After writing it a while, I see why folks don't do it. The record keeping is tedious. And once you start doing math in subsequent chapters, you can't go back and add more action, just because you dread redoing all the math. I've got about 80k words written in two "books" on the novel so far. I'm going to edit chapters and try to drop a couple a week till it's finished. Hopefully that will work for folks. I need to punch up the amount of action. I'll be working on that as well. Thanks, Cal-P.S> The cover art is one of the two CIrce Paintings By Waterhouse.
