《Lust | JiKook》열아홉

Jimin slept soundly beside him.
The demon's head rested on his lap, the rest of his body sprawled across the length of the couch. His skin was kissed with golden hues due to the setting sun that seeped through the window.
His hair was feathery, fanning around his head like a halo; although that may seem ironic to say.
However, no matter how peaceful and beautiful he looked then, his appearance still worried Jungkook. Because his sun kissed skin still looked pale and worn, his plump pink lips looked cracked, and his feather soft hair was breaking off at even the gentlest of touches.
It was if he was slowly breaking apart in Jungkook's hands, and the thought made the human's heart ache.
Taehyung had left a few hours beforehand, after making sure that Jimin's coughing fit was gone for the time being, and bidding the two goodbye. Jungkook knew he wasn't happy, he tried to mask it to not bring any more stress into Jimin; but Jungkook knew that him knowing they were demons wasn't sitting well.
Jungkook couldn't blame him, he already knew that he was seen as inferior to them, so knowing their secrets wasn't exactly something that they would like.
He jumped when Jimin stirred, the sound of a small cough leaving his mouth ringing throughout the otherwise quiet room.
Jungkook waited for a few moments, hoping wholeheartedly that he wouldn't be set off into another fit of coughs. The episode from earlier was still imprinted in his mind, the image of Jimin gasping for air, tears rolling down his face as violent coughs tore through his body; it was too much.
And Taehyung not allowing him to help Jimin just made it worse, he felt numb as he watched the demon suffer, pulling against Taehyung's grip because he needed to help.
He couldn't bare to see Jimin in pain.
To Jungkook's relief, the cough wasn't accompanied by any others, and the demon shifted where he lay, the side of his face comfortably pressed against Jungkook's thighs. He was so unbelievably beautiful, Jungkook would describe him to look like an angel if he didn't know the truth.
If demons were this mesmerizing, maybe there's a reason angels keep themselves hidden.
Jungkook sighed, carefully sliding his phone out of his back pocket in an attempt to make sure Jimin didn't wake up. His efforts proved to be successful, and he raised an eyebrow once he turned on his phone and noticed three new messages from Seokjin.
He furrowed his eyebrows, trying his hardest to remember what sin Taehyung had said he was. Envy? No. Definitely not.
His eyes scanned over the messages, a smile tugging at his lips as he read the first one:
Seokjin;
hey kook, when's the next time you can come over? i miss my beautiful boy :(
The second one:
Seokjin;
namjoon bought a few things that i know you'll look gorgeous in!
And the third:
Seokjin;
it was hard to convince him to use his own money, but anything for you :)
'I miss my beautiful boy.' A soft pink hue bloomed against the skin of Jungkook's face, his stomach doing a flip. Him? Beautiful? He'd never been referred to as that before. Jimin never referred to him as such, the only time a compliment towards him that wasn't during sex left Jimin's lips was when he was calming Jungkook down after revealing that he was a demon.
Funny.
But then Jungkook looked down at the demon once again, and couldn't find it in him to be mad. He was a demon after all, walking lust. He wasn't made to give compliments, he was made to get them.
'Soon, Hyung.' Jungkook had texted back, 'What did you buy for me?'
He then paused for a moment, before closing out of his messages and opening up the search engine that was installed onto his phone. He knew what words he was going to search the moment that the keyboards popped up.
'Seven deadly sins.'
There were countless websites, some created by actual churches, some created by less reliable sources. All of the information was so familiar, bringing back memories of his mother's harsh teachings; ones that undeniably had good will behind them.
He decided that the first result was his best bet.
It was almost intimidating to Jungkook, to be faced with a page filled with hellish imagery, although he knew that was laughable considering that he had a hell born creature sleeping on his lap.
"Pride." He read aloud, albeit softly. The word immediately rung bells and he remembered what sin Seokjin was.
He was pride. Jungkook wasn't sure if he should be surprised or not.
"Pride, or 'superbia'" Jungkook spoke softly, chuckling quietly at his butchered pronunciation. "Vanity, obsession with one's self." He continued, eyes scanning across his phone screen "Sometimes referred to as the 'mother of all sins'. It was pride that turned angels into devils."
Jungkook gulped, looking back down at Jimin for a moment and running a hand through the demon's hair. Both to ensure that he stayed asleep, and to provide himself with comfort.
"Greed, wrath, sloth..." Jungkook continued to scroll down the page, eyes stopping at the last one on the page. "Lust."
He looked down at Jimin, swiping his thumb gently across his bottom lip. He stirred once more, gripping his hands into Jungkook's sweater and sighing softly. "Desire for sexual contact." He chuckled quietly, nodding to himself. "Lust prevents clarity of thought, and rational behaviour."

Jungkook closed his eyes for a moment, shutting off his phone and tossing it onto the carpeted floor. "Yeah, he does." He leaned down, pressing his lips against Jimin's oddly cold skin. "But I still need him."
He pressed his lips against Jimin's cheek, taking a shaky breath before tucking his head into the crook of the demon's neck and pulling him close.
He knew he shouldn't be accepting about what Jimin was. His mother would have a stroke if he ever told her. And maybe he would have too, if he wasn't already too far gone for the older.
It was something weird that his mind did, convincing him that Jimin being a demon was okay as long as he got to keep holding him close.
There was still fear though, and maybe that was the sliver of his rational mind speaking. The last strands of his logical mind grasping so desperately and begging for him to listen.
But he wouldn't, because Jimin's voice was all he needed to hear.
"Jungkook?" He didn't even realize that he was shaking, but it must have been noticeable enough to wake Jimin up. He wasn't sure why he was trembling either, probably because his thoughts were getting to much to handle. The whirlwind of events he had been thrown into was finally starting to set in.
Jimin's eyes fluttered open, eyes blinking groggily as he brought a hand up to rest gently against Jungkook's back. "Hey, what's wrong?"
The younger merely shook his head and sat up, shrugging off Jimin's hand.
"Nothing." He sighed, looking down and listening as the couch creaked while Jimin moved into a new position. He wrapped his arm around Jungkook's shoulder, pulling him close and ruffling his hair. Jungkook exhaled, finally speaking up once more. "Do you actually like me?"
Jimin raised an eyebrow and tried to catch Jungkook's gaze.
"Why?" Jungkook wasn't sure why it hurt when Jimin didn't answer his question directly.
"You're lust. You're meant to lure people in." Jungkook whispered. "I get this weird feeling that humans are just toys to you; that I'm just a toy to you, and I hate it because you're not a toy to me." He exhaled. "You make me feel things I've never felt with a human, things that make me feel so happy. But I feel like it's one sided."
"It's not." Jimin was sure if Jungkook had more to say, but he wanted to stop the younger's train of thought there. "I'm not supposed to feel the way I do towards you. Because I am a demon after all, let alone a sin, I'm not supposed to be able to see past the blinding lust." He huffed, "And yet..."
Jungkook finally turned to meet Jimin's gaze, and gasped softly at how muted the demon's eyes looked in comparison to the vibrancy he remembered. "And yet I did see past it, and my eyes fell upon the most beautiful human there is." He reached over to place his hand atop Jungkook's. "In the beginning I blamed my feelings on you just being really good in bed, I guess. But that wouldn't explain why my heart hurt so badly when I saw you injured."
He sighed, bringing his hands up and cupping Jungkook's face. "I fell for you. And it hurts Jungkook, but I'm alright with with pain."
Jungkook smiled softly, bringing his hand up to rest against Jimin's. "I shouldn't even know how to feel the way I do, but the devil must have made a few mistakes when it came to my creation."
"I'm glad she did." Jungkook mumbled, before leaning forwards and pressing his lips to Jimin's.
It was soft, and sweet; but there was one thing that Jungkook noticed above all. The scent that lured him in was nowhere in the air. And so he could kiss Jimin freely without being hindered by the demon's powers, he could hold Jimin close without his mind being clouded with desire. He could finally appreciate every aspect of him.
However, the state of reverie that Jungkook was in as he had a moment of intimacy with the demon, was interrupted by something worrying.
The taste of salt met his tongue, which couldn't be good. It either meant blood or tears, neither of which Jungkook wanted to see. The taste was fairly metallic as well though, leading the human to pull away so that he could assess the situation.
Sure enough, a drop of blood dripped off of Jimin's chin, originating from his cracked lips.
He watched Jimin's eyes widen, a whimper making his way out of his throat, a few harsh coughs following not long after. He grabbed onto Jungkook's shoulder, gasping for air between coughs.
The younger took him into his arms as quickly as possible, holding him close and rubbing soothing circles against his back as Jimin continued to cough violently. He felt Jimin's fingers grip at the back of his shirt, the demon's body shaking as he began to sob.
And Jungkook, he was on the verge of tears as well, mostly due to one specific thing.
Before he pulled Jimin close, he watched blood drip past his mouth as he coughed; and he was positive that it was too much to be coming from the cut on his lip.

This is the first story I'm ever putting out for public consumption so reader beware on that. Any constructive criticism is always appreciated, simply leaving a half star review tells me that you're a moron who doesn't know how to use words. I'm constantly trying to improve my writing and feedback and criticism on what works and what doesn't is the only way to do that at the point I feel I am at. Last, I just marked all the content warnings because you never know where a story will take you and I don't want to exclude anything (though there will never be a harem). I am going to release 1-2 chapters per week on Fridays. Thanks and enjoy.
