Jimin's about to either do something kinda smart or really stupid depending on how you look at it.
--
Jimin had fallen into a cycle.
Go out at night, pick somebody to go home with, do his job and dread it with each passing day, and then go home and attempt to distract his mind from last nights events.
Wash, rinse, repeat.
He found his day to day routine so boring, he found himself to start believing that he had absolutely nothing to lose.
"Jimin? Leaving so soon?"
Jimin was slowly but surely, starting to crumble. Physically and mentally, although the physically side was unbeknownst to him. He slowly began to dread going out at night, it becoming a chore as he made people become drugged on his scent.
But the act of it, the touches and the sweat and the corruption gave Jimin a surge of energy that seemed to be hard to come across anywhere else. If only he could achieve those upsides in some other way.
Jimin sighed at the voice that graced his ears, pausing in the middle of picking his pants up off the stranger's floor. He looked over to the unfamiliar bed, a frown on his lips as he rested his gaze upon the girl that he had messed with that night. Her hair was messy, eyes tired as she wrapped the comforter around her bare form.
"Jisu, right?" He asked, rubbed his tired eyes and watching the girl frown.
"Jieun." She corrected, dropping her gaze to the floor. Jimin immediately mirrored her expression, gulping and biting his lip.
"Right, I'm sorry." He apologized, walking over to the side of the bed and lifting her chin up with his index finger. "I have to get going, Jieun." He sighed, watching as the girl's hurt expression faded away. "I've got work in a few hours."
"You can't stay a little while longer?" She pouted, Jimin shaking his head and smiling sadly.
"If I go back to sleep now I'll never wake up in time." He explained, Jieun finally nodding and sighing sadly.
"Okay." She exhaled. "But we'll meet up again, right?"
Jimin hesitated, but nodded.
"Here." He spoke, walking over and picking up a notepad and pen off of Jieun's nightside table. "If you promise me you'll go back to sleep, I'll write my number down here and then we can talk some more, and meet up again."

Jieun smiled.
"Deal!" She beamed, giggling as she watched Jimin pick up his pants and struggle to get them on. "Goodnight, Jimin." She lay back down on the bed, turning over and pulling the blankets over her even more.
"Goodnight, Jieun." Jimin exhaled, Jieun smiling as she listened to the sound of a pen scrawling across a piece of paper, just like Jimin had promised.
And the she listened to the rustle of clothes as he put his shirt back on, and his quiet footsteps as he left the room. It was only after she heard her front door shut, that she sat up, keeping the bedsheets wrapped around her as she got out of bed and walked towards her nightside table.
She flicked her lamp on, but felt her heart sink when she read what was written messily across the page of the notepad.
'Sorry.'

"Jimin? It's four in the morning what are you-"
Jungkook immediately paused, upon noticing Jimin's disheveled appearance, and the apartment that he just walked out of. His neighbour Jieun never had many guests over, but it looked to be like Jimin wasn't going to be a reoccurring visitor. "Nevermind. I got it."
"No, Jungkook, wait." Jimin sighed and adjusted his shirt, attempting to look much more presentable than before. Well, as presentable as one can be while carrying their shoes in one hand. "I didn't know that you lived in this building."
"Well I do." Jungkook frowned, leaning against his doorway and raising an eyebrow. He had originally come outside to get a change of surroundings after a restless, sleepless night, and never expected to see Jimin. "Shouldn't you get going? God forbid Jieun wakes up before you leave."
"No I..." Jimin ran a hand through his hair. The last thing he wanted was to upset Jungkook. He had only just gotten him back after the human had disappeared for a little while, he couldn't let him slip away again. "I have a solid explanation."
Yeah, one that's going to get me killed. Jimin shook the worry out of his mind, maybe it was high time the devil fixed him up anyway. He knew that he wasn't as good of a demon as the rest of them, so maybe if he confessed then the devil would have no choice but to make him better. Fix the flaws that shone through oh so clearly.

"Do you now?" Jungkook asked, raising an disbelieving eyebrow at the other. Jimin nodded; making him sigh. "Alright," He stepped the side leaving the doorway open for Jimin. "Come on in then."
Jimin knew that he should keep his mouth shut, he should shut up and turn around and completely forget about Jungkook. He should keep everything a secret, and find a new human, and do what he was made to do.
But how could he, when Jungkook was looking at him like that?
The younger's eyes were sad as Jimin walked through his doorway. How could he throw him away, when they both knew that their relationship extended past just sexual desire? If that was so, Jimin shouldn't have batted an eye when Jungkook got hurt, and Jungkook shouldn't have cared when he found Jimin in near tears.
All of his demonic desires seemed to be dulling themselves down, being replaced with something that Jimin didn't know how to describe. It wasn't an incessant searing need that prodded at you like lust did, it was warm and cozy, blooming in his chest and burning oh so beautifully.
He liked it, whatever it was.
But his body did not. He had started to notice the change in himself as well, and the sharp pain in his chest whenever another fit of coughs wracked through him confirmed his assumption that he wasn't okay.
But he refused to go back to hell, especially not after what he was about to do.
"I just thought that maybe I meant something more to you than a quick fuck, you know?" Jungkook sighed, ruffling his messy hair and flopping down onto the couch in the living room. "But Jieun huh? Lucky you, I remember spending months trying to get myself into her bed. She's too much of a good girl though." He caught Jimin's gaze. "Or so I thought."
"I can explain." Jimin sighed, sitting down next to Jungkook. "I didn't want to. I had to."
Jungkook's eyebrows shot up.
"What do you mean 'had to'?" He asked, voice slowly becoming thick with worry. "She didn't force herself onto you, did she?"
Jimin immediately shook his head.
"No, no." He breathed. "I made the first move and everything. I didn't want to though."
"I'm not following." Jungkook spoke. "Why did you then, if you didn't want to? You do know that you have a choice right, Jimin?"
"But I don't though." Jimin mumbled softly, room falling silent for a moment after that. That is, until Jimin decided to break the silence, and sign off the ticket to his own demise. "What's your stance on heaven and hell?"
Jungkook frowned at the abrupt question, sighing before answering.
"My stance?" Jungkook asked, Jimin nodded. "I like to believe in it, better than letting myself think that I just disappear into nothingness after I die."
"What about demons and angels?" Jimin questioned, Jumgkook raising an eyebrow and looking at the older questioningly before answering.
"Maybe." He shrugged. "Like maybe they exist, but I don't believe in any of that guardian angel shit, you know? Humans are a lost cause, why would angels want any thing to do with us?"
"But demons?" Jimin asked, Jungkook shrugging once more.
"Demons... I'm a bit more skeptical of." He confessed. "Beings derived from pure evil? Why? I just don't see why something like that would need to exist." He turned his head to finally catch Jimin's gaze. "Why are you suddenly on this topic?"
"So you don't think demons walk among us?" Jimin asked, completely avoiding Jungkook's question. "Like demons can't possibly exist, and they definitely don't roam the earth." The younger nodded in response.
"I don't believe it." He sighed.
"How does it feel knowing that you're looking at once of the few demons that do? I bet it would change your beliefs."

8 139Storm
The Storm started six months ago, and no one knows where it came from. All they know is it hasn't stopped for a single day, and you better follow the one rule: Don't go out in the rain. Hiding in the broken building of her old high-school, seventeen-year-old Marylou is one of the few to have survived this far. She doesn't believe in the Ghosts -- shapeless creatures said to roam under the rain outside -- but, to be fair, she doesn't really believe in anything except booze and the unconditioned love of her ball python snake, Evil Noodle. Chance brings Marylou together with Amy, a mysterious girl with an even more mysterious past, and Dean and Ray, two young men running what they call 'the last pizza place in California'. As the Storm rages on stronger by the day, the foursome will have to make a choice: keep hiding under roof after roof, waiting for starvation, or set out to the road and face whatever hides out there, under the Storm.
