Angel's POV

So here I was! In the famous New York city. I have dreamed of coming here since I heard about it when I was a child and HERE I AM!!! Ohmygooooshh I'm SO excited. Right now I'm on my way to my new apartment and I couldn't wait to get there.

--------------------------------

Standing in front of my new apartment and I'm almost exploding. No kidding there. I went inside and it was so cute! I think I just fell in love.

The apartment was a little one with one bedroom and one bathroom but the kitchen was open to the living room and I absolutely loved it!

I went into my new bedroom and saw that it had a queen-sized bed in the middle with a little bedside table on the side. The walls were black with green swirls and it was wonderful. On the hardwood floor there was a fluffy grey carpet. On the left side of the room was a window and under the window was a wooden table with my computer on it. On the right side of the room were two doors. I opened both and discovered a decent sized closet behind one of the doors and behind the other one was the bathroom. The bathroom was mostly covered with white and grey tiles and in the far corner of the room was a shower cabin.

Well I guess I better start unpacking then...

--------------------------------

Two hours later I was completely exhausted and I still hadn't unpacked all of my stuff! Where did I even get that many things?!? I looked at my phone and saw that it was already half past ten! Well I guess that I have to unpack the rest later because I'm going to need my beauty sleep. Tomorrow was going to be a long day because I needed to find myself a job.

*next morning*

My alarm woke me up at nine so I was well rested. I did my morning routine and went to my new kitchen to start on my breakfast. I decided on some bacon and eggs. Fast and easy to make which is perfect for me as I'm very lazy in the mornings.

After I had eaten my breakfast I went back to my room and put on clothes which I was planning on wearing for the day. I was going to wear my light and ripped skinny jeans, black Vans, a white top and my dad's old varsity jacket. Oh and if I never mentioned, I am adopted. I'm not really sad about it because Peter and Cindy are the best parents you could ever ask for. Anyway I'm getting off topic, I need to go and find myself a job so off I go.

I left my apartment building and wandered around the nearby streets, not wanting to get lost.

I found a cute coffee shop not too far away from my new home and when I went closer, I saw that they were in need of a worker so I decided that this was my chance. I went inside and a little bell dinged above the door, signalling that someone had come in. I looked around the cozy little cafe and it was really nice.

Clean tiled floor and as it was still around ten in the morning the round wooden tables were freshly cleaned and almost shone in the sunlight that came through the big window in the front of the little coffee shop. In the air there was the smell of freshly made chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate. It was delicious.

Then from the back came a woman in around her fifties, maybe? She wore a warm genuine smile and she looked really welcoming and a bubbly person. I figured that she had come from the kitchen because she was wearing an apron and she smelled strongly of freshly baked cookies.

"Hello dear, what would you like to get? We have freshly made chocolate chip cookies, they're still warm."

"Oh hi. I actually came because of that poster on the door that said you were looking for workers...?" I asked, smiling a bit nervously.

"Oh! Of course. Would you be interested in working here?" the lady asked.

"Yes, I think I would love it here Mrs..." I trailed off because I didn't really know her name.

"Call me Sarah, dear."

"Oh, well my name's Angel," I introduced myself.

"That name really suits you... Angel," she said smiling.

"Thank you, Sarah. So do you think I could work here?" I asked hopefully.

"Yes, of course! It would be wonderful, Angel. When do you think you could start?" Sarah seemed very hopeful.

"I could start now. I don't have anything else to do besides unpacking my stuff and decorating my apartment."

"So you just moved here?"

"Yeah, I came yesterday."

"Could you really start today?" you could see the hope in her warm eyes.

"I suppose I could, Sarah." I could see relief coming over her face.

"It would be wonderful if you could start today, it gets pretty hard here alone."

She works here alone??? Oh my.

"Just show me what to do and I'll get started." She showed me how to use the cash register and pointed me where everything was. She even gave me a notebook with a pen to write down the orders after I told her of my short memory.

It was around lunchtime and Sarah was in the kitchen baking when two customers walked in. They were having a serious talk - judging by their facial expressions - but when the door closed after them, they froze. Then, they did something really weird, I have never seen someone do that. It looked like they were sniffing the air? They started looking around the cafe frantically and when our eyes met, all three of us froze.

Oh my.

They looked like an even more beautiful version of Greek gods if you can imagine that.

Both were tall, maybe around 6'8 feet and compared to me they were like towers standing there. I guessed they were brothers because they looked almost identical. Perhaps even twins?

Both of them had messy brown hair that spiked up in every direction and looked like they had just come out of bed or something.

One had sky blue eyes and the other had also blue eyes with some other colour mixed in.

Strong and wide shoulders, their clothes looked like they were about to rip off because of the big muscles underneath.

Their white shirts clung to their torsos and it showed off both of their defined stomachs. The jeans were just tight enough so you could see how muscled their legs were.

They were both wearing black army boots and leather jackets. I'm afraid I died and went to heaven...

Finally they seemed to come out of their trance and a second later I was sandwiched between the two good smelling men - you can't judge me for breathing in deeply -, their arms wrapped around me and their faces in my neck... sniffing?

They both mumbled something but I couldn't quite catch it. We stayed like that for a few minutes and I didn't dare move a muscle as they nuzzled my neck with their noses. And that's when Sarah decided to walk in...
