《Vaughn》Chapter Eight - Whiplash

Benjamins POV
I step outside into the corridor, away from the noise. I scroll through my missed call list to find mum's number.
"Hey Mum." I say in the speaker. "Everything alright?"
"Yes love. Just wanted to check in, make sure you boys are behaving."
We continue to converse, with my eyes glued to the floor as I make my way down the corridor.
I turn the corner and come to a halt as I lift my gaze higher.
Just my luck.
I see Alexis standing over by the empty reception table, busy typing away on her phone, giggling with her back towards me. I wasn't ready to see her again, not after how I left things in the elevator yesterday, but seeing her just a couple metres away from me, I just couldn't help myself. I wanted to continue where we left off, have her in my arms again, kiss those beautiful soft lips, touch her sweet dripping pussy, have her moan my name.
"Mum, I gotta go." I softly speak into the speaker now. "Call you again. Love you."
"Okay darling. Don't do anything silly now."
.
I quickly hang up and continue to stare intently at Alexis, my fists quickly clenching up as I contemplate my next moves.
It's a good thing I went for a run this morning, though it didn't completely drain all the pent up frustration away from my body, I was in a somewhat semi approachable mood. I look around, making sure we were indeed alone before making my way over to her.
She was still engrossed in the conversation she was having on her phone. I cheekily slide both hands around her waist, while I whisper in her ear "Hello Kitten."
She jumps away from me, with a mixed look of guilt and terror on her face. "Jesus! What the fuck Benji."
I smirk. "Jumpy this morning kitten." I say, leaning against the reception table while she now has her back against the glass pane door.
"Don't fucking do that." she says with anger.
"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you."
She crosses her arms against her chest. "No, I mean don't fucking call me that." she says "You don't get to call me these cute fucking names after that bullshit stunt you pulled in the lift yesterday."
Oh right. Not the reaction I'm used to.
"Lexi--"
"No Benj." she yells. "That was humiliating leaving me alone like that."
I remain silent, waiting for her to finish her little episode.
"If you can't finish what you start, don't fucking start shit with me at all!" She concludes.
I aggressively push her up against the door, leaning over her tiny frame with my face inches away from hers.
"You know, you're really fucking sexy when you get angry." I say cheekily, knowing it probably wasn't the best time to say this, but I couldn't help myself. I'm a sick individual.
"You smell so fucking good." I continue. "Bet you taste even better." I add as I now move my right hand up her inner thigh.
"Don't Benj..." she says in a whisper while placing her hand firmly on top of mine, blocking the path.
"I'm sorry I left yesterday." I whisper. "But believe me Lexi, if I didn't have to attend that meeting..."

I lean in closer, with my lips brushing her left ear. "...
I hear her breath quicken as she loosens her grip on my hand slightly, almost inviting me to carry on further.
I breathe her scent in deeply. Vanilla quickly becoming my favourite smell. I lay soft kisses all over her neck and down her collarbone. I watch as her eyes slowly flutter shut as goosebumps now invade her skin. I smile against her neck, thankful she hasn't kneed me in the balls yet.
Still nuzzled in the nook of her neck, I lift my hand off her leg taking her hand with me, as I place it firmly on my dick.
Her eyes widen as she sucks in a deep breath, feeling the full length of me now.
"Do you believe me now kitten?" I whisper. "It pains me as well."
I continue to rub my dick with both our hands.
She brings her face closer, confidently massaging my erection on her own.
"Show me." She whispers.
There's a slight shuffle behind us and then an immediate cough.
Oh Fuck off.
I don't bother turning around, still slightly leaning over Lexi. I can see Stefans reflection in the glass door in front of me.
Lexi looks over my shoulder sheepishly, with her cheeks turning a slight red.
"Apologies for the interruption Mr Vaughn." Stefan says. "But we require Lexi's assistance in the conference room."
"Of course." I say, still facing Lexi who is silently speaking with Stefan through strained facial expressions.
I lean in again with my right arm against the door behind her head. "My apologies for keeping you Ms Cooper."
I lick my lips and bite down on my bottom lip while my eyes feast on hers for another minute, then I quickly back away nodding my head at Stefan before making my way back inside the gym.
Alexis POV
I watch him walk away, already craving his presence.
How does he have such a strong effect on me?
He's such an ass hole.
I switch my gaze to Stef who's got one eyebrow cocked and his arms crossed over his chest.
"Girl, you better spill that shit."
"Shut the fuck up Stef! Not here!" I quickly reply as I walk towards him, peeking down the corridor to make sure Benji was inside.
"Fine!" Stef says sourly."Come on then, we've got a boardroom to set up, but after that, I want the goods."
"Yea yea." I reply shoving him out the door.
"One thing." He says looking back at me. "Is he fucking hung or what?"
"Omg shut up Stef!" I whisper loudly, pinching him on his shoulder.
Yes.
Yes he fucking is.
Bradleys POV
I was definitely on struggle street. Having to sit through two back to back meetings after the gym, was absolute torture.
I haven't seen Lexi all morning and she stopped replying to my texts. I'm sure she was busy, after all she still has to work but I couldn't help but feel a tiny bit anxious.
After lunch I set out to look for her around the hotel while checking in on Julie.
"Oh good. You're alive." I say.
"Aww were you worried about me?" Julie chuckles. "Well aren't you a sweetheart! But it takes more than a few shots to bring me down babe."

Julie was petite. Just by looking at her you would immediately assume she was a light weight.
Even though she was sporting a very large energy drink can in her hand, she was very much present at work. Clothes were ironed, her hair was kept and she didn't have the classic "panda eyes" most women get after a wild night.
Impressive.
"I'll remember that for next time." I reply. "So have you heard from Ava?"
"Yea she sent me a text early this morning, said she wasn't coming in." Julie replies, scrolling through her phone.
Thank fuck. She's alive.
"Good." It was the only thing I could say.
Julie chuckles. "Don't look so worried. She's a big girl, she can handle herself. She may be a fucking mess but it's nothing I haven't seen before."
"Ok I'll take your word on that."
"So how long you been over here?" I begin.
"Moved over from the UK over a year ago." She replies. "Love it here. Great people."
"And you've known Ava and Lexi for that long too?"
"Yea, I met Ava first then Lexi joined us a few months later." She replies. "Why do you ask?"
"Just making conversation."
She grins. "Yea they don't look or act like sisters, but they are." She says. "Complete opposites though."
You can say that again.
"So tell me something, how is it possible for all three of you to be single?" I question. A fact that had been niggling at the back of my brain all morning.
Julie takes a final sip out of her energy drink then disposes of it, giving me her full attention.
"We just haven't found the right one I guess." She replies. "Ava acts like she don't need a man, but that's exactly what she does need. A good man. She didn't have a father figure growing up, so she's quite independent and can tend to use men at her disposal."
"Lexi, is another story." She continues. "She doesn't do relationships or commitments. She's also not one for feelings. But in saying that, she doesn't fuck around either."
She pauses and thinks to herself.
"Well she doesn't fuck around like her sister and I." She continues giggling away. "What can I say, we love the D!"
I chuckle. "And you? What's keeping you single?"
"Same. Haven't found the right one." She replies truthfully. "I know that sounds cliche, but every guy I've been with were just missing something, you know? Don't know what it is, but I guess when I do find it, I'll know."
"You know, I actually have a very close friend of mine who might be a good fit." I reply, looking her up and down. "Actually, he'd probably have a field day with you. You're just his type!"
"Don't tease me Vaughn." She replies with her arms crossed. "Gimme the goods."
I chuckle again. "All in good time babe." I reply. "Sooo, have you seen Lexi around?"
A slight distrusting look flashes across her face.
"You move quick you do." She replies. "Lexi doesn't recover the same way as Ava."
Eh... what?
"Care to elaborate?"
"I can tell by the way you say her name, you're keen." She says. "But you'd be a fool to think she hasn't noticed the way you look at Ava. We've all seen it."
Fuck.
"If you're planning to pussy hop between the two, you better quit that shit right now." She replies with a stern look. "Woman appreciate it when a man knows what he wants and he wants."
She walks over to me and gives me a double tap on my chest. "Think about it Brad."
She turns and walks away, pausing a couple metres in front to say "She's over by the pond.
Dammit. I'm in trouble.
I shake out the anxiety coursing through my veins as I make my way outside. It doesn't take me long until I locate her, standing on her own underneath a large tree. She has her back towards me, her long hair flowing in the light breeze, with the beautiful blue skies and distance trees as a backdrop. It's like a scene from a movie.
I take my final steps and am now by her side. She still hasn't noticed me, as I now see her eyes are closed with her hands interlinked and placed just under her chin, as though she's silently pleading.
"Hey Sweet cheeks." I say in a whisper, hoping not to startle her again.
She immediately opens her eyes, a smile appearing on her face as she turns to face me.
"Hey you." She replies.
"I didn't hear from you after awhile, so I had to call in reinforcements." I chuckle. "Julie told me where you might be. Hope you don't mind the intrusion."
"Yea sorry, I got a little distracted earlier." She says sheepishly. "But good thing you're persistent, right?"
I smile. "Right."
"Soo, I had fun last night." I say, trying to get a feel from her.
She drops her gaze to the floor and walks a few steps away from me. "Yea about that..." She says, trailing off.
Here it comes.
"We should talk about something first." She continues.
An unfamiliar feeling forms in the pit of my stomach as I study her body language, trying to decipher her muted thoughts.
"Please don't say it." I reply.
She turns to face me again. "You don't even know what I was going to say." she says with a chuckle.
"Yea but I'm getting this weird feeling, you're about to tell me that you wish last night never happened." I say, keeping a safe distance between us.
She looks directly at me and I can't read her at all. I can literally feel my stomach in my mouth as the feeling of rejection starts to sink in, but it doesn't last long as a cheeky grin now spreads across her face.
"No I definitely wish that." she says cheekily.
"Thank fuck." I sigh, making my way to her now.
I softly caress her right cheek, my gaze fixated on her lips. "So, what did you want to talk about babe?" I ask.
She looks over to the hotel doors. "Let's talk inside." She replies. "I still need to look like I'm working."
"Way to ruin the moment." I chuckle. "I was just about to kiss you."
