《Ice Queen》Living Together

For the first time in awhile, I'm feeling nervous. I hate that I couldn't send someone over to just get her. I, myself, have to do that.
I got the address to the Garland family and got there around 11am. Am I too early? Will she be waiting or had she ran away? Do I look presentable? I wonder what Rylee thinks of me.
I park out on their drive way. Her house is modern. It's likeable.
I step out and walk to the house. My outfit is nothing fantasy, just casual everyday clothes. I knock on the door and wait. It took a few seconds before I was confronted by Mrs. Garland.
"Well hello Dawson, we were just wondering when will you get here," her mother smiles at me.
"I had some errands to run this morning, I'm sorry if it's pretty late in the day," I apologize.
"It's no big deal, we understand your life style. Come on in, Rylee is in her room, still packing," I step inside and was told the direction to Rylee's room. It's upstairs, down the hall, the room on the left.
I make my way up the stairs, heart pounding. Every step was heavy and made me nervous. I knock on her close room door and hear her yell to come in.
She froze when she saw me walk in. It instantly made me smile, but I turn it into a smirk.
"You're here already?" She ask. Isn't it obvious? I'm standing right in front of you.
"And you haven't finish packing yet," I look around the room then back to her.
"I'm finish," she zip her luggage and carry it with both hands on the handle. Rylee look at me as I just stand there. "Are you going to help me?"

I scoff and shake my head. "I'll wait for you in the car," I inform her then leave.
"Rylee said I head out first. She'll care her own stuff to the car," I lie to Mrs. Garland before exiting the house.
I wait in the car and smile as I watch her walk like a penguin carrying her luggage. I press a button that opens the trunk for her to put her luggage in. Once that's done, she enters, but sit in the back.
"Come sit by me," I tell her.
"I'm fine. I don't wanna see you," She fires back.
Haha. I lock the doors then drive her away.
We got to my house that I live in, and I park the car right at the doorstep for her.
"Welcome home, Rylee. Pick a room and I'll see you later."
So she's not going to come in? Probably has somewhere to go. I exit the car and grab my luggage from the back.
"Oh, here's the key card," Dawson hangs her hand out from her side window. I went to get it and my hand touches hers. It shouldn't be a big deal but I blush. I quickly turn away to grab my stuff and Dawson stay until I was inside the house before leaving.
Wow, the interior is nice. Before I decide to select a room, I gotta see what this place holds.
The floor is laid out by gray wide wooden tiles, which is warming. The room to the right is the living room and on the left is the kitchen, but there's a hall that stretches down pass the kitchen.
The walls are white, all white which I don't know if I like it. I went down the hall and notice an entrance to the garage, no cars. Across from it is a workout room. Pfft, she works out? At the end of the hall is a stairway that goes upstairs. I figure that now I'm going upstairs, I best to take my luggage too.

I accidentally stumble upon Dawson's room. Her room is clean. The bed already made, desk is organized, no clothes on the floor, and wow, a good view of the woods. I like her room.
I check the other rooms and figure that I'll take the room next to her. The other three rooms can be for guests or whatever.
I unpack everything and set them away away. The room and house is really spacious. It's just like my parents house.
I notice that my bathroom is shared with Dawson. But hey, I don't have to share, I can use the other bathroom. What? It's locked. Why would she even lock it?
My phone ring and buzz on the nightstand. It is John.
"Hey, Ice Queen, isn't it already time for practice?"
Oh shoot, it's already almost 1pm? No, almost.
"I will be right there," and then I realize that I don't have a car. "Maybe."
"Maybe? Why?"
"I have no car."
"Did your car break down?" Oh shoot, I haven't tell them about my condition that I am now married to Dawson and we have started living together.
"Yes... So I can't come today. I'm sorry, John."
"Hum... Ok Rylee, I will see you tomorrow then. Have a good day."
I took my phone with me to downstairs to the living room. Settling down, the remote to the TV is on the coffee table in front of me. Maybe I should watch something until Dawson comes back, or perhaps I can cook for us, for her.
Wow, what am I thinking? When have I ever been this caring? Maybe the fact that I instantly felt something for Dawson and once had a somewhat crush on her. I still can't wrap my head around the matter that I am now married to her. It's just surreal.
I reach my left hand out and see the wedding ring. Dawson put the ring on me, claiming me to her and I did the same.
I wonder... out of everyone in the world.... why does it comes down to her? Why her? Why Dawson and why me?

I’m also a new author who only wrote the story because purely for my own pleasure.Be warn though as the story progress and development is very slow. I started writing this story out of spit of not having anything interesting to read, do expect some cliche since this author likes it.
