You stood in front of the bathroom mirror, carefully putting in your red and green studs. You heard footsteps approaching.
"Hey Cisco, when does this thing start again?" You asked. Cisco appeared in front of you. He leaned against the door frame.
"6. So you have exactly five more minutes."
You smirked at him before spraying on a hint of perfume.
"All done, how do I look?" You asked, giving Cisco a twirl. Decked out in red and black, you felt like a showstopper. You were definitely confident in this new look.
Cisco whistled jokingly. You laughed.
"You're such a dork." Cisco rolled his eyes.
"Says the nerd," he replied. You giggled and playfully punched his shoulder.
"Come on, we have to go, unless you want to be late..." you said. Cisco shrugged.
"I mean I don't really want to listen to all of the questions about my non existent girlfriend, but if I must," he said.
You smiled.
"It's still Tracy right? You haven't changed the name on me?" You asked, going along with Cisco's game. He furrowed his eyebrows.
"I thought it was Talia?" He asked.
You cocked your head to the side and glanced back at him. "Tania?"
"Teresa?"
"Crap..." you both said in unison.
—————
The two of you stood outside Cisco's childhood home, huddled under the porch. You lightly knocked. As you stood on the porch, the snow fell from the sky, lightly pampering the ground beneath it.
"Coming!" A woman inside the house yelled. The footsteps grew closer until the door was flung open and a middle aged woman appeared.
"Cisco?!" She exclaimed. She pulled him into a hug, smiling widely.
"I wasn't sure if you'd make it," she said, pulling away from the hug. She glanced over at you, extending a hand.

"Mrs. Ramon and you are...?"
You shook her hand. It was very warm compared to your cold, freezing hand.
"Y/N L/N. I'm Cisco's best friend and roommate," you replied. Mrs. Ramon smiled and glanced over at her son.
"You've never mentioned her before, how long have you known each other?" She asked slightly irritated that Cisco had never told her about you.
"Uh...three years," he said. Mrs. Ramon's eyes grew wide, but before she could say another word, a handsome stranger slid in next to her. He pulled Cisco into a bear hug.
"I missed you little brother, how have you been?" He asked. You eyed the man oddly, sensing the tension between him and Cisco. He turned to you.
"Dante Ramon, Cisco's older brother. It's a pleasure to meet you, Y/N," he said. A smirk played on his lips.
"How did you...?" You asked, your eyebrows knitted together in confusion.
"I overheard the conversation. Anyways," he glanced back to his brother and then back to you, "let's get you two inside before you freeze to death."
You nodded in agreement and followed Dante inside, avoiding the icy glare of Cisco's mother. You cleared your throat and glanced back at Cisco who held the same overwhelmed expression.
"Oh Cisco, I almost forgot, your father wanted to show you something if...when you arrived," Mrs. Ramon said. Cisco glanced over at you but his mother seemed to object you going as well.
"Don't worry Cisco, I wouldn't mind keeping Y/N company for a little bit, that is of course unless Y/N wants to go with you," Dante said, sensing the tension. You shrugged.
"It's fine Cisco, I'll wait here," you said. Cisco looked at you relieved and followed his mother to the other room.

You glanced over at Dante who met your gaze with a smirk.
"I hope this isn't too forward, but I've gotta tell you, you look incredibly attractive tonight," he said, flashing his pearly whites. You stifled a laugh.
"Oh my god, did you just say that? And out loud too?" You asked. Dante cleated his throat.
"Sorry I didn't-" You chuckled.
"Thanks for the compliment I guess. It was an odd deliver but-" you shrugged "I need a drink, does your mom have any alcohol?" You asked. You normally weren't much of a drinker, but given how uptight Cisco's family seemed and how much of a charmer his brother was, you needed something to lighten the blow.
"Uh yeah, in the kitchen," he said. You nodded and began walking to the other room. You threw a glance over your shoulder and smirked.
"Coming?" You asked. Dante chuckled and followed behind you.
In the kitchen, you found an assortment of wine displayed on the kitchen island.
"I've never seen so many different kinds of wine in my life," you said.
Dante sidled up next to you, reaching for a bottle. "Yep, that's my mom for you, she only drinks wine, but she drinks every kind of wine," he said. You glanced over at him.
"Don't you have anything stronger?" He lightly laughed.
"Unfortunately wine is as strong as you get in this house," he said. You pouted.
"Alright well pour me a cup of the wine you're having," you said giving in. Dante obliged and handed you a cup.
You both made your way over to an empty space in the corner of the room. You leaned against the nearby counter and took a sip from your wine.
"So Dante, come here often?" You said, mocking his earlier pick up line. He smirked.
"Very funny, I see what you did there," he said. You laughed.
"Ahh so you're a bright one I see," you said.
"Ahh and you're a smart ass I see," he countered, meeting your gaze.
The two of you burst out laughing.
"You know, I'm almost offended Cisco has never introduced me to you before," he said. You felt your cheeks redden.
"And why's that Dante?"
He held your gaze, the same tilted grin still playing on his lips. "Because even though we've only just met, I find you to be unexplainably adorable."
You narrowed your eyes. "I think that's just the charm talking," you said. Dante cocked his head at you.
"And what makes you so sure love?" He asked. Your stomach turned into knots and you felt yourself begin to sweat.
You coughed in an attempt to cover your awkwardness. Luckily Cisco has come around the corner and saved you from an awkward blurb of words.
"Y/N hey!" He said. You smiled at him.
Dante cleared his throat. "Well Y/N, I'll let you get back to hanging out with my brother...Are you two staying for dinner?" He asked.
You nodded. "I believe so. You're welcomed to save us a seat next to you if you'd like," you said.
Dante smirked. You looked over at Cisco who eyed you oddly.
"See you in a little bit Dante," you said before grabbing Cisco's arm and dragging him away.
"So you want to tell me what's going on between you and my brother?" Cisco asked.
You looked over at Cisco, a smile playing on your lips. "I don't know what you're talking about."
Cisco rolled his eyes.
