《The Flash GIF Imagines》Mission-Leonard Snart

"Alright we need two people to go and check out the basement while the others search the second floor," Barry explained. You jumped with joy at the mission.
"I'll go with Leonard," you said eagerly. You threw a glance at Leonard who was looking back at you with a smirk.
Your brother cocked his head to the side. "How about you and I go together and Oliver-" he began.
Leonard waved his hand. "Barry, it seems your sister already has it figured out. We wouldn't want to waste anymore time now would we?" He asked, glancing at you briefly. You felt your stomach turn upside down and your cheeks go slightly red.
"Fine," your brother gave in. "You two take the basement we'll take the second floor...No funny business," he warned.
"None at all," you replied, giving him a half smile.
As your brother and Oliver walked away, you turned towards Leonard who was watching you with squinted eyes and a crooked smile.
He began walking. "So, why'd you want to come with me so bad darling?" He asked. You paled as you tried to come up with an appropriate response while also trying to not focus on the nickname he had just given you.
"Uh...I...You seem like a cool guy," you stammered out. You grimaced at your word choice, but luckily it didn't seem to faze Leonard who stopped dead in his tracks.
You followed in his footsteps and slowly raised your gun up higher. He glanced back at you as if trying to understand something.
After several seconds of nonstop eye contact, he finally spoke. "Do you hear that?"
You furrowed your eyebrows at him, but listened.
"It sounds like metal being bashed together," you whispered. Leonard's eyebrows knitted together.
"Do you think someone is trying to draw us out?" He asked. You gulped.
"Only one way to find out," you said, "come on." You moved past Leonard and towards the staircase. You glanced back at him and nodded before slowly proceeding down the stairs.
You breathed out as quietly as you could. As you went lower, the metal banging grew louder, it was almost intolerable at this point. You rounded the corner and were met with a dark room filled with vacant manufacturing equipment. You turned back to Leonard who stared back at you with worried eyes—you'd never seen him like this.
Quickly turning back around, you proceeded further into the room. The banging stopped. You and Leonard froze in place, trying to see everything in the room. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw something run by.

Letting out a shaky breath, you turned in the direction of the mysterious shadow, only to be met with the face of a small child.
The hair on the back of your neck stood up. "Leo tell me I'm not the only one seeing this," you whispered. Leonard stepped closer to you.
"Unfortunately no."
You cleared your throat and squatted down until you were at eye level with the girl.
"Sweetheart, what are you doing down here?" You asked. The girl stared back at you unmoved. You glanced wearily up at Leonard who shared your same uneasy expression.
"Are you hurt?" Leonard asked. You turned back to the girl who began to giggle furiously.
"No, but you're going to be," she said. The color drained out of your face as the little girl began to run towards you.
You jumped to your feet and grabbed a hold of Leonard's hand.
"Y/N, what are you doing?!" He yelled.
"Getting the hell out of here, I've seen the Shining and hell no!" You yelled back.
You were at the entrance to the staircase when another little girl appeared in front of you.
You screamed. Behind you, the other little girl stood menacingly.
You were about to dodge around them when another popped up out of no where.
"What the hell-" Leonard screamed.
The girls' eyes blazed a fiery red as they stared at the two of you, who were huddled together.
"Leo do something," you pleaded. Leonard raised his eyebrows.
"What would you like me to do darling? I can't exactly shoot them," he said. You cast another glance at the girls who hadn't yet moved a muscle, they just stood staring.
You tried to calm yourself down as you tried to come up with a plan that wouldn't involve punching a child in the face.
The first child's face twisted into a nasty grin, one that took up most of her face. You shuddered.
The second child's eyes turned white and she began to laugh maniacally.
The third child aggressively cocked her head to the side and stared at you, beaming.
Suddenly, you realized what was happening. "Leo, I've got it. They're not going to hurt us, their merely playing on our fears to keep us trapped down here," you said.
"So what you're saying is you want me to chant 'they're not real' over and over again until I believe it?" He asked sarcastically. You punched his arm.
"No, we just have to distract them and avoid their creepy stares. So one of us will distract, the other has to run up those stairs and be prepared to close it when the other is through, trapping them. They're not our problem right now, their parents are," you said. Leonard nodded.

"Cool so who's gonna become bait?" He asked jokingly. You sighed.
"I'll do it," you said. Leonard's smile faltered.
"I really don't feel comfortable leaving you down here darling," he said. You smiled and squeezed his hand, which you still held.
"I'll be fine, just wait for me," you said. Leonard smirked.
"I wouldn't leave you in a million years darling." Your face turned crimson and you let go of his hand.
"Let's do this." Leonard nodded.
You glanced around at the little girls who seemed to be staring at you blankly, almost as if they were in a trance.
You sighed and winked at Leonard. "See you on the other side."
You raced past the third little girl, dodging her hands which were outstretched towards your passing body. You looked back to see Leonard race off towards the stairs, all three little girls now behind you.
You turned back around and took a sharp left, jumping over a pile of rubble. You tried to run faster, you could feel hands scraping against your back.
You jumped over the conveyor belt that was next to you, confusing the little girls for an instant. You pushed on, leaping over two more conveyor belts until you reached an aisle that was clear.
You looked forward and saw the entrance to the staircase. Your heart was beating really fast now and your breath was beginning to falter. You were tired, but had to get up those stairs, there's no way you were staying down here with those little girls.
You lept forward, trying to reach the stairs quicker. You felt the carpet under your fingers and knew you only had a second until the girls were behind you, pulling you back.
You lept to your feet and sprinted up the stairs. There were so many and you could feel your upper thighs burning, begging you to stop running.
Finally, you saw Leonard's face, which was plastered with an uneasy and worried expression. You lunged towards him upon hearing the loud steps of the three girls behind you. You landed on top of him outside of the stairwell, kicking the door shut with your foot.
You let your head fall onto his chest, tired from all of the running.
Leonard laughed. "Glad you made it darling, I was about to go and get you if you took any longer," he said.
You laughed and moved yourself so that you were looking at him.
"I'm never going in another basement ever again," you said.
"Same here, I think I have to move my hideout now," he added. You giggled.
"What in the hell am I looking at?!" You and Leonard turned your attention towards the voice.
Barry and Oliver were watching you a couple of feet away. You lept off of Leonard and pulled him to his feet.
"Barry hey..." you said. Your brother rolled his eyes.
"Don't Barry me, what are you two doing? You're supposed-" Barry began, clearly heated upon seeing you lying on top of Leonard.
You held your hand up to stop him. "No, I don't want to hear it. I just dealt with three little Shining girls down there and I'm not in the mood," you said. Barry furrowed his eyebrows at you.
"Look, did you find anything up there?" You asked him. Barry and Oliver shook their heads.
"Nope, how about you?" Oliver asked. You sighed.
"Yeah but they're you're problem now," you said, walking past Oliver and your brother. Leonard followed behind you, sitting down on a crate, next to you.
Barry and Oliver shared a defeated look before throwing open the stairwell door and making their way down towards the banging which started up again.
You turned towards Leonard. He met your gaze.
"What darling?" He asked.
"Nothing. I just liked hanging out with you," you said.
Leonard chuckled. "If you call almost getting killed 'hanging out,'" he joked. You smirked.
"What can I say, I like taking risks and going on adventures that get your adrenaline going," you said.
"Risks huh?" Leonard said, looking at you with a smirk. "How about you and I go on a date sometime and risk getting caught by your brother," he said.
You matched his smirk. You leaned over and planted a kiss on his cheek before walking towards the stairwell.
"I'll take you up on that offer Leo, but first we have to save my brother," you said. Leonard chuckled and walked over to you.
You sighed as you looked back down the winding staircase from which you'd just come from moments earlier. You grabbed onto Leonard's hand and descended down the stairs cautiously.
A scream erupted from the room below.
