You slipped on your last boot as you hobbled over to the door where someone was knocking non-stop. You flung the door open, revealing your dorky best friend.
"You may enter Cisco," you said, bowing jokingly as if he were royalty.
"Hmm, seems that this place isn't as clean as I would have liked to see it," Cisco said shaking his head as he walked into your place. You rolled your eyes.
"I've been busy so I haven't had the time to clean," you said. Cisco looked over at you.
"Crying over A Dog's Purpose after you watch it five times a day does not count as being busy Y/N," Cisco remarked. You stuck your tongue out at him as you walked passed him to the coffee table. You reached down and grabbed your car keys before turning back to Cisco.
"Ready to go before you insult me further?" you asked, a smirk plastered on your face.
"Sure," he said smiling.
----Time Skip----
You and Cisco sat in your car, driving slowly behind a line of cars that refused to move.
"Seriously! Just drive, who is causing this pile up?!" you yelled. Cisco looked over at you and chuckled.
"Why Y/N? Are you going to get out of the car and fight them or something?" Cisco asked smirking. You looked over at him, your expression unchanged. Cisco pouted.
"Awe, is the little Y/N grumpy?" he asked, poking your shoulder. You turned away from him and back to the road.
"Come on, just one little smile is all I ask for. Come on demon Y/N, bring back my best friend who always laughs at my jokes," Cisco pleaded, poking your shoulder again. You tried your best to ignore him as he continued to poke you, but in the end, you couldn't help but laugh at him.
"There it is!" Cisco exclaimed, as you slowly began to smile. You looked over at him and pouted.

"You hurt my shoulder," you joked.
"Sorry Y/N, I had to get the demon out..." Cisco said. You smiled at him.
"Thanks for that."
"No problem," he said before gasping. "Maybe I should become an exorcist. I mean instead of forcing the demon out with rituals I can make them happy until they hate it so much they have to leave," Cisco said. You shook your head.
"Maybe just stick to your current job," You said turning back to the road.
"Hey!" Cisco said, the both of you soon laughing.
----Time Skip----
You and Cisco climbed out of the car, dusting your clothes off from the pop tarts you found in the glove compartment while you were stuck in traffic. You turned towards Cisco and smiled before making your way towards him. You wrapped your hands around his bicep and looked out towards the rows of flowers that lined the bright green grass in the garden.
"Ready to go?" you asked turning towards Cisco. A smiled spread across Cisco's face.
"Of course, let's go," he said, leading you towards the first flowers you saw, lilies. The two of you raced into the flowers, the bees buzzing around you angrily as you knocked into the flowers, making them sway.
You giggled as Cisco spun around in the flowers, careless of the buzzing bees. While Cisco wasn't looking, you reached down and plucked a few flowers from the grass. You pursed you lips and made your way over to a dizzy Cisco.
Cisco leaned over, grabbing his knees. "Ugh Y/N, I think I'm going to vomit..." he groaned. You laughed and walked behind him, moving the flowers to the front of you.
"Y/N? What're you doing?"
"Something..." you mumbled, placing the three flowers into your best friend's hair.
"Are you putting flowers in my hair?" he asked, standing up. You tried to suppress a giggle as Cisco whipped around to you, eyeing you suspiciously.

"Nope," you said smiling. Cisco went to reach around to the back of his head, when you quickly grabbed his hands.
"Wait-Do they still have the daisies? We have to go see!" you shouted eagerly.
"Well probably, but-" Cisco began.
"No 'buts' Cisco, we have to go to the flowers!" you exclaimed, pulling Cisco with you as you ran towards more flowers. For the next half an hour, the two of you scoured the flower garden, Cisco reluctantly helping you pick flowers to stick in his hair. By the time the two of you had made it back to the car, Cisco hair was full of flowers.
"Y/N, I really hope there were no bugs in these flowers, or they're in my hair now," Cisco said, stopping at the car and turning towards you.
"Yeah, but your hair would offer up a lovely home for those bugs," you said smiling.
"Yeah? And why is that?" he asked, his eyebrows knitted together. You stepped closer and smirked.
"Well for one, your hair is really soft,"
"Is that so?" he asked. You nodded.
"Plus, you have enough of it to provide each bug with a mansion," you said laughing. Cisco bit his lip and looked away. He shook his head.
"You amaze me sometimes Y/N," he said laughing.
"Ooh, with my high intellectual skills?" you asked jokingly. He turned back to you ready to say something when you turned to see two guys yelling at Cisco.
"Hey nice flowers dude! They really make your eyes pop!" They shouted, laughing all the while. You looked back at a bright red Cisco who began to remove the flowers from his hair.
"Wait-Cisco-" you began before he cut you off.
"Just...stop Y/N..." he said calmly as he attempted to remove a flower that was tangled in his hair.
"Here, let me help," you said, grabbing the flower and slowly taking it out of Cisco's hair.
"Thanks..." he sighed, before grabbing another flower.
"You know Cisco, I don't know why you let them get to you," you said, watching your embarrassed best friend.
"Because Y/N, it's embarrassing when something like that happens and I can't help but think people see me as a freak," he said. You looked at him and smiled.
"I don't see you as a freak," you said. You reached out and took Cisco's hands in yours. He turned towards you and looked into your eyes.
"Of course not, you're my best friend," he said. You let out a sigh and stepped towards him.
"You're best friend who I've been in love with you since like forever," you said smiling. Cisco raised his eyebrows and looked oddly at you.
"Are you sure you have the right guy?" he asked. You laughed and nodded.
"You're him...Now Cisco, repeat after me. 'I Cisco Ramon am no freak.'" Cisco smiled and repeated those words to you.
"Good, now there's something else I need you to do," you said.
"Yeah? What now?" Cisco asked confused. You flashed a smirk.
"Kiss me," you said. Cisco chuckled and leaned in. You closed the distance, both of your lips meeting. The two of you embraced and kissed for a minute or so before breaking apart.
"Thanks Y/N," Cisco said.
"For the kiss or?" you joked. Cisco laughed.
"That and giving me my confidence back."
"Awe, anytime...Besides what those guys think, I think you look smokin' with those flowers in your hair," you said.
"Well maybe I'll leave them in for a little bit, they're kind of growing on me," Cisco said, smiling at you. "But first..." he added, taking the flower that he had set on the car's roof and placing it in your hair.
"You need a flower too." You smiled and leaned over to plant a kiss on his cheek. "Thanks...Shall we be on our way then?" you asked.
"We shall."

The Grey Realm, an Erebus Story.
Written by: Staugroan and The Inklets. Edited by: Claudia Adams. In the beginning there was a god, who watched over and made one world his own. Soon after the god grew restless, but happened to stumble on a small world filled with life. This world was named Erebus by its peoples; humanity. The god was so fascinated with this new world that he started to copy it back home, creating oceans, forests, deserts, and so forth. Then the god created life and eventually his favored creations who would be immortals and be the better of mankind in every way-the elves. So often the god had traveled to Erebus that the two worlds became linked by magic and their inhabitants could cross at will. Relations between the races flourished, and a great empire was born in the Grey Realm, home of the elves. But the god once again grew restless, and set loose great beasts that stood at the top of any food chain, the apex. At first the elves met the challenge and fought them head on. But mankind was not so lucky, they died in droves to push back even a single apex. Something had to be done. Elves and man worked together to begin sealing off the worlds to protect mankind, to limit the ways in and out to better fight the apex off and keep their fellows safe. The ritual had adverse effects the likes of which neither the elves nor man could predict; the sealing of the worlds started slow, but the magic had never been done before, and in their ignorance it spread to completely cut the two worlds off from one another. It ejected the apex, and other magical being back into the Grey Realm, saving Erebus. At first the elves were content, they would find a way back once the apex were dead and gone. But the seal had done more than keep Erebus locked away. The powersource of the seal was magic itself, from both worlds, and it consumed it all greedily. The elves, weakened without their magic, crumbled into ruin, and the apex were free to hunt the other races of the Grey Realm. Two-thousand years later a strange phenomena is occurring and magic is slowly returning to the Grey Realm, and tears open that allow passage to Erebus. Thu'lain and a few elves must make the journey to fallen kingdom of the elves Anosora, in the hopes of reclaiming what was once theirs. They must face their nemesis the apex, and survive not only the species that have turned against them, but a terrible being left behind by the god to kill even the apex. Uch'l'thein, the faceless terror.
