《The Flash GIF Imagines》Camping trip-Wally West

You walked out the front door, your bag for the weekend slung over your shoulder. You closed the door and waved goodbye to your parents in the window before racing off to your friends.
You reached the red minivan that they rented and were greeted by three smiling faces.
"Y/N!" Amy shouted, pulling you into a hug. You hugged her back and turned towards the others.
"Jake, Kennedy, good to see you two." You said smiling. "So who are we waiting on?" You asked, although you already knew the answer. The cute boy from physics and Jonathan, the cute boy's friend.
"Um...I think just Jonathan and Wally." Jake said. You nodded, finally pleased to have a name for the cute boy.
"We should probably get going then." Amy said, slamming the trunk closed. You furrowed your eyebrows at her.
"I thought we were waiting for them?" You asked. Amy shook her head.
"We're picking them up." She said. You nodded and the others began to hop in the minivan, well all except for Amy, who pulled you aside.
"So Y/N, I know about your massive crush on Wally." She said. You squinted your eyes at her.
"Okay..." You said uneasily.
"Well I made a seating arrangement in the car so you and Wally are sitting in the back together." She said before nudging her elbow into you. "That means you can talk to him and maybe when we're at the camp ground," she looked around before looking back to you with a smirk. "Get a little action."
Your eyes went wide and you punched her in the arm.
"Ow hey, I was just saying." She said, continuing to smirk. You rolled your eyes and walked over to the open car door, peering in. You saw Jake sitting in the passengers seat, Kennedy in the second row, with a seat most likely reserved for Jonathan, and in the back, empty seats for you and Wally. You let out a sigh and climbed in the car.
----Time Skip----
You watched through the car window as Wally and Jonathan walked out of a brown house together, each holding a bag in their hands. Wally raced over to the car, smiling widely. Amy hopped out of the car and took their bags.

"Jonathan, you're by Kennedy and Wally, you're in the back by Y/N." She said before she moved to the back of the minivan and opened the trunk to put the bags away.
Wally slid in next to you, looking over at you smiling. "Hey, I'm Wally." He said, reaching out his hand. You smiled and took his hand.
"I know, we're actually in physics together. I'm Y/N." You said. Suddenly Wally's face lit up.
"Now I remember, you're the girl whose always answering every one of the professor's questions." He said. You let out a laugh.
"Yeah, that's me."
"Well thank you for that, I hate when professors make me talk." He said, laughing.
"Don't mention it, I feel like it's my duty anyways." You said jokingly. Wally smirked.
----Time Skip----
You climbed out of the car, stretching your arms and legs.
"Alright guys, if we want to make it to the campsite before three, we need to leave now." Amy said, opening up the trunk. You nodded and grabbed your bag, before moving out of the way so the others could get theirs. You then began to follow Amy towards the campsite, staying in the back with Wally.
"So Y/N, any plans after college?" Wally asked. You looked over at him and shrugged.
"I know I want to take a job in journalism, but I don't know where." You said. Wally smiled.
"My sister actually has a career in journalism, maybe she can hook you up with a job when you finish college." He suggested.
"Sure-I mean yeah." You said.
"You don't seem too enthused about it." Wally said. You looked over at him briefly and then back at your feet.
"No, don't get me wrong, I'd love it if you could talk to your sister, but I guess I'm just nervous about having a real legitimate job." You said. Wally let out a laugh.
"Same here, I still have no idea what I want to do." He said.
"Really?" He nodded.
"Well we still have one semester left, so let's hope you figure it out by then." You said.

"Yeah, I hope I do." He replied. You nodded and fell silent until Wally began talking again, this time asking you about yourself. The two of you went back and forth answering each other's questions until you reached the campground.
----Time Skip----
You sat in the fold-able chair, holding a marshmallow over the fire, watching as it turned different shades of browns.
"I wonder what's taking Wally and Jake so long." Kennedy said. You shrugged.
"Maybe they got lost." You said.
"Let's hope not or we're going to have to find our own wood." Amy said. You shook your head at her, turning away when you heard a rustling in the bushes behind you. You squinted your eyes and moved your head closer to where the sound was coming from.
"What the-" Suddenly, Wally jumped out of the bush, making your heart beat about a million times faster. You screamed and jumped out of your chair, throwing your marshmallow on the ground. You stood a few feet away from a chuckling Wally, your breathing following an uneven pattern and your hands shaking from the sudden jolt of adrenaline.
"Wally what the hell?!" You shouted. Wally continued to laugh. You then heard another scream come from behind you and saw Kennedy had the same thing happen to her, but by Jake. You turned your head away from your other friends and glanced down at your marshmallow that was now covered in dirt and leaves.
"Awe man..." You mumbled, leaning down to pick up the gooey mess. You stared at the marshmallow in disgust before Wally came up beside you, an apologetic look on his face.
"Sorry Y/N..." He mumbled. You looked over at him briefly, not knowing what to say.
"Hey, I actually might know a way to cheer you up...It might not bring back your marshmallow, but it might bring back your smile." He said. You looked over at him and gave him a nod.
"Sure, seeing as Amy ate the rest of the marshmallows, I don't have anything else to do." You said. Wally smiled widely and grabbed your wrists, pulling you towards the bush where he'd previously jumped out of. He continued to lead you down a trail until the two of you came to an overhanging cliff, looking right up at the night sky.
"Woah..." You mumbled, a smile appearing on your face. Wally smiled as he dropped your hands and turned his gaze to the sky.
"I know, it's beautiful right?" He asked. You nodded.
"More than beautiful actually, stunning." You added, looking over at Wally. Wally turned towards you as well, meeting your gaze.
"I really like hanging out with you Y/N." He said. You smirked.
"Me too...I-I mean, I like hanging out with you, not myself." You said awkwardly. Wally chuckled.
"Yeah?" He asked eagerly. You nodded.
"Great! Because I was thinking after this trip is over, the two of us could hang out at my favorite racing spot-That is if you like racing." He said. You broke out into a smile.
"Of course, who knows? It might be fun." You said. Wally smiled.
"Yes! Trust me, you'll love it!" He exclaimed. You let out a laugh. "I'm sure I will, especially if you're there." You said before registering what came out of your mouth. You stared back at Wally wide-eyed.
"I...I-" You began but were cut off by Wally talking.
"It's okay Y/N." He said giving you a smile. "I like being around you too."
You bit your lip before you gave him a weak smile. "Shall we head back before the others start wondering where we are...Or..." You began.
"Or what?" He asked intrigued.
"Or we can watch the stars for a little longer." You suggested. Wally smiled.
"Option two please." He said. You smirked and plopped down on the rock, Wally doing the same.
