"Good morning." Janet says as she sits down in her office chair setting her brown bag on the floor next to her.
"Morning"
"G'morning" the boys mumble back as they too, sit in their respective chairs.
"I asked you both here because I have another mission for you." She stated, pulling some files out of her bag.
"But that's not the only reason we're here. Is it?" Bucky said while fidgeting with his fingers underneath the table.
"No, it's not." Janet pulled out the file for the girl. So far it only had a few pieces of information.
She slid the updated file over to them. "This is what we have now. Use what you can and see if you can find any other information. If we have an update, we'll call you."
Bucky and Sam looked over the paper before Sam put it in his bag.
"Now, the mission should be an easy one as long as you two don't kill each other before you arrive on location." Janet joked, not knowing the boys have kinda sorted out that issue on their own.
Bucky tried to pay attention as she droned on about their mission. Something about infiltrating some facility. He really was trying to pay attention, but his mind kept drifting back to the girl.
Why do I feel like I know her? How could I? It doesn't make sense. Unless...
No. That's not possible. Could a kid even survive cryo freeze?
She has the serum so she probably could.
What would be the point of a child soldier anyway?
Probably the same reason for women spy's back in the 50's. No one would suspect a thing.
But even then. If Hydra did have a child soldier there's no way for me to have known her. I didn't know anyone in Hydra other than my superiors. I would have had to sneak out and-

Did someone say something?
"Bucky." Sam said a little louder, grabbing Bucky's shoulder. "You good?"
Bucky cleared his throat and noticed that Janet had left the room. "Yeah. I'm fine."
Sam raised his brows, "You didn't hear a single word she said, did you?"
"I stopped listening after her joke about us killing each other."
Sam nodded. "I'll tell you when we get home. We leave tonight."
They arrived back at the compound and sat down on the barstools. Sam pulled out the files they were given for their mission.
He opened a couple and pointed to the information as he spoke. "Basically, all we have to do is get to this place and check it out. Make sure nothing bad is going on." He flipped the page. On it, there was a map of the estimated location. "S.W.O.R.D has received word of some suspicious activity regarding classified weapons manufacturing. They don't know if it's true and they don't know how dangerous it could be. That's why they're sending us." Sam concluded as Bucky continued to look over the files.
"Great. We're disposable." Bucky closed the folder and passed it back to Sam. "What time are we leaving?"
"It's only 6:00 right now but I'm thinking we should leave around 9. That will give us an hour to get there before people at S.W.O.R.D take down the security systems. Then we have about 30 minutes to get in, look around, and get out."
They spent the rest of their free time hanging around the compound. They ended up leaving a little before 9.
The place they were headed to was thought to be an old underground S.H.I.E.L.D facility. Like one used back in the 50's and 60's.

They arrived on location within the hour, just as they had planned.
"We're here. What now." Sam said into his ear piece. They were communicating with Andrew Jung, a former S.H.I.E.L.D technology specialist and current S.W.O.R.D technology specialist.
"Get to the west entrance, then give me about 30 seconds, wait for my word, and the doors should open. I will have the whole facility in blackout. Cams, lights, locks, everything. It looks like old S.H.I.E.L.D tech. Worked with it hundreds of times. Should be simple." Andrew said from the other side of the comms.
The boys quickly made their way to the door and waited.
"Remember, you have about 30 minutes before the system will catch the issue and turn back on."
The lock clicked open. "Good luck." The line went silent, indicating that they were now on their own.
They entered the base and Sam handed Bucky a pair of goggles similar to his. "What are these for?" Bucky asked.
"To see. It's dark, and we don't know who else is in here. Staying in the dark will give us an advantage."
"I'm not wearing these. They look ridiculous."
Sam took the goggles back and put them on Bucky's face himself. Bucky felt Sam kiss his lips before turning on the night vision, allowing him to see Sam through red lenses.
"I think you look adorable." Sam replied nonchalantly as he started to walk further into the building.
Bucky picked up his pace and walked after him.
They rounded a couple corners in the dark. It might've just been the goggles, but the building didn't look as though it had been abandoned more than 30 years ago. There was not a spec of dust.
Eventually they came to find a large S.H.I.E.L.D logo on the cement wall. Theory confirmed.
Just then, all of the lights in the building turned on simultaneously. "I thought we had 30 minutes." Bucky whispered.
"This is weird." Sam replied.
They could hear locks clicking back into place all over the facility and the red lights on the cameras started blinking again.
"Great." Bucky said, getting into a fighting stance, Sam doing the same.
For a second there was nothing, then...
"COULSON??"
"COULSON?!"
