Mr. X's pov

Nandini : ok Manik , can you drop me home tomorrow I can't be late .

Manik : yeah sure it's like 11:30 . Come let's go .

Both were silent during the car drive . Nandini was lost in her own world , thinking how her life has changed and taken a turn of 360 degree turn in a few months . Now she was the kind of Nandini that she was never before .

They reached her house . Nandini was still lost .

Nandini pov

I was so much into my thoughts that I didn't notice Manik calling me until he crashed his lips into mine . I sat there in shock , all I could do was close my eyes and feel his lips against mine . I wasn't moving my lips because still I was shocked . He was kissing me pationately . He pulled back and smiled . I opened my eyes and they were giving a questioning look to him .

" what ? I guess that's the best way to get you out of your thoughts . " he smiled and winked . I just blushed and literally my cheeks were on fire . I think I didn't blush this much before . I didn't respond back as I didn't know how to respond back to his flirty statement . Yeah ! All the time he is romantic , cheesy and flirty . Gosh! This boy is gonna kill me some day and the next day , news would come that a ' ek ladki ki hui mot because of blushing . ' Ok ! Fine I know that's too much , but still .

" you wanna go home or you want me to get you out of your thoughts again . " he said and started leaning closer .

And what did I do ?

Ovio! The coward me !

I literally jumped out of the car wished him bye quickly and went running and stumbling to my house as if I was participating in a marathon race . I bet he would have died there laughing seeing me like this and I looked not less than an ape like that .

Why Nandini ? why can't you be normal ? Always jumping and hovering around like an idiot .

Manik pov

Hahahaha . Woah man ! What was that ? Whatever it was , it was too funny . Oh god ! This girl is someday gonna kill me of laughter . She is not like other girls being too cheesy or sweet , she is different , she is like a kid . And yeah ! That running act indeed proves that she is a kid . And by the way she looked breathtaking in that short dress . Anyways I drove back home , changed into my night suit and crashed on the bed as I was literally tired of all the preparations I had made .

Nandini pov

Anyways I entered and found that everyone had already slept , so I silently sneaked into my room changed my dress after checking it in mirror for the last time into my night suit and there I go , I found my favourite furniture in this whole house that is my bed and just laid on it and in a minute or so , I slept .

Next day ......

Mr x's pov

Nandini reached the college at 7: 50 and there she was again running as she thought if she won't run then she'll get late .

Manik saw her he again laughed but didn't call her as he knew that she would get late and if it happens then she would definitely turn into an angry bird . Nandini reached her class exactly on time .

There the pandit stood . With the sound of door opening he turned around to find Nandini standing there. For a minute or two he stood there in utter most shock and Nandini just stared back at him blankly , but some memories of her parent's accident flushed through her mind . Somehow she managed to speak .

Nandini : good morning sir ! I am Nandini moorthy , your new students . I play veena

Even he managed to speak.

Pandit : moorthy ?

Nandini : yes sir ! Is there a problem with that ?

Pandit got into the reality and answered .

Pandit : no ! Not at all . Just asking casually as I didn't here it properly . Anyways you know classical music .

Nandini : yes sir ! My amms ..... I mean grand ma taught me .

Pandit : ok! So come sit and I wanna see how talented you are . Can you play something for me on veena ?

Nandini : sure sir !

Nandini sat there , she played the veena . Pandit was mesmerized and shocked again with the music she played .

Pandit : oh ! Stop it ! The same tune ... How could it be ?

Nandini was scared .

Nandini : what happened sir ?

Pandit : don't play this tune ever again . At least not in front of me !

Nandini : ok .

This is all she could manage to say as tears started flowing down her eyes because this was the tune her mother liked and this is the first tune she was taught by her mom and getting such a negative response from pandit made her weak as she liked this tune A lot .

Pandit : the class is over ( angrily ) .

And he went out .

Nandini cried a lot but then later she consoled herself somehow but still she was sad . Before going out she noticed someone's phone lying there . She thought that it is pandit's phone , so she thought to return it . By mistake she clicked a button , and the next moment Nandini was shocked to see that pandit had his mother's photo as his wallpaper and screen saver! She immediately went to his photos app and saw that he had her mother's pictures with him . She planned to confront him .

She went to find pandit , but she could not . Later , tired of finding him , she went to the principal .

Nandini : good morning sir .

Principal : good morning Nandini!

Nandini : sir , can you tell me that where is pandit ji ? Actually I want to return his phone .

Principal : oh ! He actually resigned .

Nandini : what ? Why?

Principal : well , he said that he has to go out of station due to some private work , you know family work .

Nandini : ok sir , thank you !

And she ran out of the office . She headed towards the college gate . She was running and on the way fab 5 saw her, but she didn't notice . Manik thought ' yeh lo phir Bhaag rahi hai yeh ! But wait she is crying . What happened to her ? ' . With that Manik also started running behind her and seeing Manik running Mukti , Alya , Dhruv and Cabir also ran behind him .

Nandini reached the college gate but pandit was no where to be seen . She landed on her knees and started crying as it was important for her to know that how did he know her mother as it can relate to the mystery .

She felt someone's touch on her shoulder . She turned to see it was Manik .

Manik : what happened ?
