《Save The Netherworld, Iruma-Kun!! || A WTDSIK Fanfiction》Chapter 10: .....And Found

Iruma leaned against a tree, wiping the tears from his face as he looked around. He was lost completly, going in a straight line hadn't helped at all and everything looked the exact same. Even Alikred was lost.
"Maybe if we go back...? I mean, these woods shouldn't be that hard to go through- Have you ever climbed a tree, Iruma?"
"N-no.. Iruma says. "My mom didn't allow that..." He continued to walk through the forest- it was getting dark, and he was getting really scared. He hated the dark- he'd been locked in a dark closet when he was younger too many times to be okay with the dark.
"Ey, then we'll have to hurry then. I can cast a light spell, but it'll only come from the ring, nothing else. I'm still too weak to do anything, I hate that."
"Oh, right... You said that you used to live here..." Iruma's quiet for a couple of seconds. "Why did you leave this world..?"
"I was murdered by someone I thought was my friend." Alikred says bitterly. "They lured me to the human world and wounded me. Then, they trapped me in this ring."
"...Why did they kill you...?"
"He...said I made a mistake. Ofcourse, I had been to the human world a couple of times before. I did something there... I had to... Fix it... And after I did, he found out. He threatened to... destroy what I fixed, and I challenged him for it. We fought for days, months really. When he wounded me and trapped me I... I thought he had destroyed what I fixed, but he didn't, and I'm happy he didn't."
"What did you fix?" Iruma asks, before pausing, looking around. "Did... Did you hear that..?" There's rustling in the bushes, and Iruma stumbles back, before something burst out of the woods, and he screams, running away from whatever was chasing him. It crashed through the woods, and Iruma tripped, rolling a bit before hitting his head on a log.
He gets disoriented for a bit, laying on the ground out of breath as the thing that was chasing him stops. It was blurry as it looked down on him, and suddenly, a wet, hot tongue is slapped onto his face, and it makes him yelp.

Iruma rubbed his face, looking up at what had licked him.
It was a lion- it's shaggy small mane protruding out of it's back, some of it looking slightly like a horse's mane. Horns that looked like Clara's protruded from the top of it's head, and black bat wings were stationary on the back of it.
"Oh, a draconat." Alikred whispers."I used to have one of these things... Although I'm sure they killed it- don't touch it we don't know if it'll eat you!!" Iruma gently pushed the thing out of his face, and it purrs, pushing it's face into his hand. Onto the ring. Alikred is silent, before he starts chuckling, the chuckling turning into crying after a while.
"Ali?!" Iruma looks down at his ring, and the demon is silent "Ali are you-"
"I'm sorry I.... This is..." Alikred is quiet again for a while, and the lion- the draconat- continues shoving into Iruma's arms. "This is Bunji. He's my..... He was my..." Alikred goes silent once more before sighing.
"Was he your pet?"
"He was my friend, but yes. I missed him so much, I'm glad to see he's not a cub anymore.... Hey, he could probably get us out of here. Hop on his back, and tell him who your trying to find. He'll find them."
Iruma pat's Bunji, watching as the draconat bent down, allowing the younger boy to get onto him. Iruma felt a little silly. Here he was, on a wild animals back- after Balam had drilled into him never to do that.
"Uhm... B-balam Shichiro please...?" Bunji sniffs the air before running in a random direction, adjacent to the way Iruma had come from. Iruma holds on tight as Ali laughs. Hopefully they'd find his dad, where ever he may be, and soon. Iruma was getting motion sick.

Balam was getting worried. More so than he actually was, ofcourse. Iruma was still nowhere to be found, and it was getting very dark. The other teachers were helping, but no dice.
They were sitting at the front of the forest, and Opera was forcing Balam to drink tea to calm down- the man had nearly had a panic attack twice- while they were regrouping. Asmodeus and Clara, along with David (Asmodeus' guardian when his mother wasn't here) and Clara's mother, who was frowning.

"This forest is big, I'm suprised this has happened before." Sullivan says, glancing over it. "I'll have to get it taken down. Too many kids get lost here."
"This is the fifth time this month I've had to help look over this forest. Even though I'd rather you keep it, I'm so tired of looking." Robin replies with a yawn. Sullivan continues frowning.
"We'll have to split up even more. Groups of two arnt working." He paced slightly, looking over at Balam. "Are you calmed down now?"
"Y-yes." Balam says, pushing Opera's hands away. The cat was still trying to force him to drink tea. "I'm just- I thought I sent a letter on why he couldn't participate in the flying activities..."
"Wait, but even with MDD it would have run its course and finished already- he should be able to fly, right..?" Dali looks over at him, and Balam's mind goes blank. He tries to think up a reply, and his mouth finally moves before he thinks.
"He doesn't just have MDD, he's a very sick kid, I knew that before I adopted him. Even though he's twelve and his wings should be almost as big as him but they're still too small for him to fly on and won't grow in like the others till adult hood." Sullivan nodded.
"Kalego told me something like that as well." The man in question, who was sitting beside Balam, glares daggers at Sullivan before shrinking under Opera's glare. "It's getting late, and we need to find the boy very soon. Does he take any medicine or anything?"
"Ah, yea." Balam had made medicine specifically for Iruma. It had taken a while, but it was to naturally mask his human scent. "He takes them every night before bed."
"We'll find him before then. Robin, Opera, I need you to-" There's a crash, and a draconat flies from the woods, tackling Balam, who yelps, falling onto his back.
He'd never seen one of these before- the last he heard of one of them being seen he was a boy, and his mother was talking about the demon kings pet. He heard Sullivan gasp, and Iruma's face pops out from the side of the beast.
"Hi dad!"
"Iruma-kun!!" Asmodeus says, giving the boy a hug as soon as he gets off of the Draconat. Clara tackles both of them, and Iruma yelps.
"Irumaaa!!" The draconat gets off of Balam, and he immediately wraps the boy in a hug, sighing with heavy relief.
"Deviii! You scared me Iruma! What happened?! Where have you been?!"
"I got lost, but Bunji found me and helped me here."
"Bunji?" Iruma points to draconat, and Sullivan's eyes widden a bit before he looks away. "Ah, the... Yes..."
"Enough talking. Everyone here has work and school tommorow and everyone needs to get home. Balam, I'll need you and Iruma to stay behind, but for the rest of you, get going." Sullivan says, and the others take off, Kalego staying for a couple extra minutes to talk to Iruma before leaving as well.
"Iruma, what happened, exactly?" Opera asks. "How did you get down in the woods?"
"I was shoved by the teacher." Iruma replies, and Balam feels himself getting agressivly angry. "B-but I'm okay now."
"I'm just glad you arnt hurt to bad." Sullivan says with a relieved sigh. "Balam, if your brooding starts early because of this, can you teach Iruma's class?" Balam nods with a heavy frown. "Iruma. I'm so sorry for everything that happened. I'll make sure the teacher is repremended, alright?"
"Okay." Sullivan claps his hands.
"Now, you two get home. It's late."

Like many of my peers, I've discovered that life is not quite what I expected it to be. As I age, I've begun to find that many of the sayings and truths that my parents, authority figures, and friends have passed on to me were outright lies. Every person I know has been subject to the same interactions, which got me thinking, why not write a compilation of stores about my life experiences to date. I hope that this book will help all of us come to terms with the realities that we face today or deal with some of our deepest feelings about the past. Maybe these people lied to us and maybe they honestly believed the myriad of things they told us, but either way I think we can have a good laugh looking back and remembering the first times that we realized these things weren't true. I also hope that you can look back at the lies, or life lessons, that you've learned and can be inspried to own your stories and share them with others in a genuine way. Wiithout further ado, I hope that you enjoy the many short stories of my life that made me who I am today. These stories range from funny to down right surrel, so good luck on your journey!
