《Save The Netherworld, Iruma-Kun!! || A WTDSIK Fanfiction》Chapter 7: Feelings

Balam sat in his office, Iruma sitting in his lap as he wrote a paper. The young boy had just finished his homework and Balam was still doing his own work for his classes.
"So." Balam says, glancing down at Iruma. He was reading one of Balam's storybooks. "How was class? Did you make any friends?" Iruma nods.
"Asmodeus and Clara. Clara said they were my friends now so I have friends." Iruma says, and Balam chuckles.
"Ofcourse Clara would say that. Her and her family are a peice of work." He sighs, setting his pen down with a sigh. His mind was swimming and his eyes hurt."I have a headache, so we should get home. I'll finish my lesson plans there." Iruma glanced back at him, putting a hand on his. Balam's hand dwarfed Iruma's, it just made him feel worse.
"Balam-Sensei?" Iruma whispers, and Balam glances down at him. "I felt really bad about the other day, even though you said I shouldn't."
"Iruma-Kun.." Balam starts, trying to figure out something to say, but Iruma slips off his lap, walking over to his bento box, pulling out a pot. Inside was a tree Balam had never seen before. It was pretty.
"We were practicing magic today and I made this for you. I thought you'd like it cause you seemed really sad and Makin-Sensei told me that I could make you feel better if I made something for you!" Balam's eyes well up with tears. Iruma and him had only been together for two months, and yet Iruma had... Had made him something.
"Oh, Iruma..." He starts wiping his tears away, hearing Iruma panick.
"D-did I do something wrong?? I'm so sorry I-i-"
"No no." Balam chuckles, sniffling a little "It's okay, I'm okay. I just... Nobodies ever done this for me." It makes him cry harder, and he has to take his mask off, crying into his hands. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry..."

"It's okay.. It's not your fault for crying." Iruma grabs Balam's hands. "Asmodeus said that he'd beat up anyone else who called you a freak, and so did Clara! I-.. I don't like fighting but i-i'll fight if you want me to!"
"No no, it's okay." Balam says, wiping his tears once again. "I can handle this myself. I'm a big boy." He picks Iruma up, staring at the plant on his desk. "Thank you for the plant." Iruma nods, and Balam pat's his head, standing up. "How about we go get icecream?" Iruma gasps, looking up at Balam.
"Icecream?! We can get icecream?!"
"Yup. My treat." Iruma started thanking him, and Balam smiles. He actually made Balam feel so much better about himself, Iruma had a way of getting Balam to feel good. He pulled the boy up, giving him a gentle hug, feeling Iruma hug him back.
"Your the coolest." Iruma whispers, and Balam pats his forehead, placing his mask back on. This was school hours still and he didn't want to scare the students even more.
"Thank you Iruma." He slides Iruma back underneath his arm, shaking him around gently as the boy laughs. "Now! It's time for us to get icecream!"
"Yay! We get Icecream!!" Balam packs everything up in his bookbag, gently picking up his new tree. "Thank you Dad!!" Balam freezes. Did Iruma really? Was he hearing right..?
"I-... N-no problem, Iruma."

Kalego sits outside of Babyls, staring at his paperwork. To tell the truth, he couldn't keep his attention on it. His mind was on Balam, which was suprising.
His mind wasn't often on Balam much these days, he thought he had grown out of that. Maybe if he just... Or if he... Nothing would work.

His friend was upset, and Kalego didn't know what to do. He didn't know if comforting would help. He stood up, heading back inside-knocking into someone.
His immediate response was to glare at the person- and his face softened as he realized it was Balam, who smiles a bit at him.
"Oh, Kalego, hey."
"Balam. Iruma." The younger boy was sitting on Balam's shoulder, his legs swinging back and fourth.
"Are you going home soon? It's getting late and you have a class in the morning."
"Oh, no, I have stuff to do. I actually had something for you-"
"Do you wanna get icecream with us?" Kalego blinked.
"W-what?"
"Icecream! Me and Balam-Sensei are going to get icecream, and you can come with us." Balam glances off before nodding, and Kalego feels his face heat up. Christ, this felt like he was back in school. All they needed now was Opera here whispering to Kalego to ask Balam out.
"Oh.."
"You don't have to if you don't want to. I mean-"
"Sure, let's go." Kalego says. He was nervous as all heck, but he had nothing else to do today. "I'm done with work anyways." Balam instantly brightens.
"Really? Great!" Balam says, leading Kalego off of school grounds. "You said you were going to give me something?" Kalego has to stop himself from booting down as Balam places Iruma in his bookbag. "It's so then he'll be safe."
"Ah... uh, yes. I have something for you, but I'll give it to you after we get Icecream." Iruma cheers from the bookbag as Balam opens his wings, and Kalego opens his own. As they fly twords the town, Kalego finds himself constantly glancing back at Balam's wings. He'd seen them only once or twice- Balam had never liked having his wings out alot- and to Kalego, they were... really pretty.
Dark grey, almost black wings with a few white feathers dotting it- Kalego knew that those wern't normal. For regular demons, their wings were instantly webby, with sharp points on the end of them to be able to fight. Until he met Balam, he had never seen feathers on someone's wings.
"Kalego, we'll be going to the place Opera showed us, remember?" Balam glanced back at him. "It has great Icecream and some good food."
"We're getting food too now?" Balam nods.
"I'm paying."
"But-"
"I already called it." Balam grins, fixing Iruma on his chest. "You wont let me loose out on the chance of buying my best friend food, now would you?" Kalego's mind blanks. Right, they were just friends. Get ahold of yourself, Kalego.
"U-uh, well... Sure, although I could buy the place three times over." Kalego was about to facepalm himself hard in the face(Some people would call it slapping himself.), when he hears Balam laugh. It was a nice laugh, and Kalego really liked it.
"It's a mom and pop shop, don't do that to them." Balam says. "How about we just buy a few items?" Kalego smiles.
"Deal." Even though he still had papers to do, he'd rather stay with Balam, who obviously needed him. His present could wait. For now, he was going to enjoy his time with his friend.

High school life in a world where everyone has superpowers
So, um... how do I explain this simply? Okay, so... There's a girl, she's er... She's in high school, and, um... She has a superpower that mutes things? Also she lives? Yeah, sorry. The concept's too confusing isn't it? Warning: The stuff below is technically correct, but this fiction, with my other, is now on the failed pledge list. Shocking how a lack of updates for more than half a year actually meant something... Sorry for the delay, still not really up to writing for this series as of now (14/03/18 - remember I'm english, so correct) but I'm still trying to get into writing... Cover is thanks to Zenlith (WriTE's Founding Member). This fiction is signed under the 'The Pledge'... Some internet message in a forum about not dropping or giving a rushed ending in their fiction, otherwise meet the wrath of letting RRL mod Vocaloid have 'fun' with the fiction's description. So mainly for the sake of my fiction due to said wrath, I'll see this fiction through. Updates: up in the air... hopefully the day after this is edited, but we all have dreams. Warning for mild profanity, but it shouldn't happen too much for the innocent out there so don't take the warning to heart.
