《Save The Netherworld, Iruma-Kun!! || A WTDSIK Fanfiction》Chapter 4: Babyls

It only took an hour for Iruma to get bored. He yawned, closing the big book he had been reading. It was something about Humans, he hadn't really been reading. The words were big and he didnt understand most of them, but he had been trying anyways.
Iruma gets up, heading over to the door. Balam had never said that he couldn't look around the school- he never even said he didn't have to stay in the office, and Iruma was bored. He opened the door, struggling a little to pull it open(The door was as big as Balam) and peeking outside.
There were people around, students, all dressed in something kind of similar to that smaller dude Balam had been talking to before. There were robes like that in the closet, Iruma had seen them when he had looked around before reading.
They were too big for him, but as he put them on, they shrunk, fitting onto him perfectly, and Iruma notices his ring was glowing. It hadn't done much since he got here, sometimes it glowed when he wanted something or was trying something on, but it didn't do anything after that.
He chalked it up to a glow in the dark ring and opened the door again, leaving the room. Nobody really noticed him and Iruma rejoyced quietly, skipping over to a classroom door, peeking in. This was Balams classroom, and Iruma smiled as he saw his da-... his dad... teaching the class.
Not wanting to get caught, Iruma pressed on, peeking into as many classrooms and rooms as he could. There were so many people around, Iruma couldn't get enough of exploring. He finally decided to go into one of the rooms that looked empty, barley managing to look over some of the desk.
"If your here about your grades, don't expect me to curve them." Iruma nearly dies right then and there when he hears the voice. He glanced around, trying to see who was talking, when he see's them. A man with purple hair and purple eyes, scanning the classroom with a frown. He decided to get closer, freezing when the man spots him, looking slightly confused. "Oh, a child..?"

"H-hi." Iruma says, having to use his tippytoes to see over the desk once he gets there. "I'm.. I'm Iruma...Shichiro." The mans eyes widden in suprise, glancing away.
"I didn't know Balam had a child." Iruma nods his head, and the man huffs. "I'm Naberius Kalego, a friend of your father."
"Oh! My.. dad talks about you alot!" Iruma smiles. "He thinks your so cool! He said I might see you when I came to school with him today." A very small smile appears on Kalegos face, and light red dust his cheeks.
"Ofcourse, Balam is my friend." Kalego replies. "Why did he bring you here to Babyls? We have a second for children, like you." Iruma blanks for a second.
"Uhm.. I-i uhm.. I'm... really sick." He says. "I'm a sickly demon, so I can't go to school." Kalego hums, looking Iruma up and down before sighing.
"Balam should know about.... Come with me." Kalego stands up, holding out his hand to Iruma, who takes it. He leads Iruma out of the school (Iruma's impressed on how fast they left- and how they seemed to dodge almost everyone.), before picking him up and flying. It scared Iruma- the man was holding him around the armpits, different from Balam, who made sure to make his ride as safe as possible.
They touch down at a different part of the school, Iruma could tell they were still at Babyls. Kalego sets him down before taking his hand again, leading him inside. Everything looked smaller, Iruma could actually see inside the doorways and could see other kids arond. It scared him, and he grabbed onto Kalegos robes, hiding behind him. Kalego said nothing about it, instead leading him into a classroom.
"Makin." Iruma peeks out from Kalego's robes. A young woman was standing infront of them. She was pretty, with purple hair and purple eyes. She had a tail that flicked back and forth, and a girl was behind the woman, trying to grab it. "I have a new student for you today. He's very... sickly, so be careful with him."

"This is the misfit class, Kalego. Are you sure you don't want to give him a chance?"
"He'll get hurt in the other classes, This class is perfect for him." Kalego grabs Iruma, pushing him forward. "This is Iruma Shichiro. Iruma, this is your teacher. Lilly Makin." Miss.Makin smiles at him, holding out her hand to Iruma.
"I didn't know he had a son. I'll take good care of him."
"Thank you Lilly. I have to get going, I have another class soon and you know how the older kids are." Makin nods, and Kalgeo briefly smiles again, Iruma smiling back at him. "Me and Balam will be back for him later."

Balam groaned as he held the icepack to his head. Leave it to his students to nearly get themselves killed. He'd have to grab lunch with Iruma quick before sleeping through lunch. He opened his office door.
"Iruma-Chan. Sorry I'm late, I got hurt and-" Balam blinked, seeing Kalego standing in the middle of the office."Kalego? What.. are you doing here?" Where was Iruma?! Kalego must have noticed him getting worried, because he huffed.
"Iruma is alright. He's with Makin right now, learning, like he's supposed to."
"Iruma is a sick boy, he can't-"
"He's with the misfits." Kalego says, rubbing his eyes. "Let's get lunch. We need to talk about this."
"Talk about what? Theres nothing to talk about." Balam walks more into his office, shutting the door. "I've done nothing wrong."
"You didn't tell me you had a son- I'm your friend!" Kalego glared at Balam, a deep frown on his face.
"You don't talk to me about mostly anything, so don't give me that, Kalego." Balam snaps, frowning at him. "I don't have to tell you anything if I don't have to."
"Thats not what I'm saying! You had a kid and never told me!"
"I just got him!" Balam yells. "Christ, I just got Iruma. Azazel helped and let me adopt him, is that what you wanted to hear?! I just... I wanted a baby bird in my nest, Kalego." That wasn't a lie. He wanted a child so bad, but he'd never been able to get on the list for adoption. And then Iruma had arrived. "So when Azazel told me about Iruma, I got him."
"Balam, you still could have..."
"I was scared, Kalego. I still am scared. Iruma is a sick h-demon." Christ he almost gave away what Iruma was. He needed to calm down. "He has mana deficiency disease. He won't be able to fly like the other kids, or use magic, or anything. I'm just.... so worried that he'll get hurt. Thats why I haven't enrolled him into a school. Thats why I havent done shit." A heavy sigh, and a hand on his shoulder.
"You still could have come to me. Your my friend. I'll do anything you need to help you." Balam glanced away. "Even though I absolutly despise brats I still want to help, okay?" He nods, giving his friend a hug. Ofcourse, like always, Kalego didn't hug him back, but Balam was used to that. "Alright, thats enough, let go." Kalego grumbles, and Balam laughs. "Lets get lunch?"
"Yeah, I could eat."

He works not for profit but for some unseen goal, a prophesy aeons old. He comes and goes like a ghost, bringing with him hope and victory. All pray for his arrival to spare them from despair. But what about when he doesn’t show? What about the people he doesn’t save? For this man is no angel, no saint sent to save the masses. His goal was never to deliver hope. It merely isn’t time for their destruction yet. For nothing is eternal. And all things must end. But what comes after?
