~Third Person's POV~
Hikaru and Kalego are walking together to their new classroom.
Hikaru: I'm so excited to teach in the fancy classroom~!
Kalego: I swear if the fools already damaged it...
Hikaru: Trust our precious students Eggo-Kun~
They walk in to see the misfits in a hug pile.
Hikaru: ...
Kalego: What are you all doing..? That's disgusting...
Hikaru: Let me join~!
Hikaru goes over there and joins in their pile, making them all laugh. Kalego groans and claps to get their attention.
Kalego: Enough! You fool, get over here!
Hikaru: Okay Eggo-Kun~!
Once Hikaru makes his way over to Kalego, they both sat down on their chairs. The rest of the misfits went back to their seats.
Kalego: ...Now then, as you can see on the handout, there will be fewer classes after today. Don't get excited just because you have more free time.
Hikaru: Give them some slack Eggo-kun~! But all of you should get ready, it's almost the Final Day.
Iruma: Final Day?
Asmodeus explains to Iruma that it's basically a king vacation as everyone else cheers. Kalego interrupted their celebration.
Kalego: But before that, you'll be be tested on all you lectures.
With that single sentence shook everyone.
Lied: Hold on! We're getting tests on all the lectures?!
Hikaru: Yep! On stuff like flying and magic for example~!
Kalego: Naturally if you fail, you will have to take supplementary classes.
Kamui: No way!
Kalego gives his signature smirk.
Kalego: Make sure you get a score benefitting this classroom.
Everyone: Are you smiling teacher?!
Hikaru laughs at their panicking state. Hikaru leans on Kalego.
Hikaru: You're having fun with this, aren't you.
Kalego: What's not to like?
Hikaru glances over to Iruma, who passed out.
Hikaru: (Good luck Iruma-Kun~)
~Hikaru's POV~
I was in my dorm, finishing up my test.
Hikaru: There~! This should be fine!
I sigh and stretch out my limbs, hearing my bones crack a little.
Hikaru: I'll barge in Kalego's place later~! He could check on my stuff.
I haven't seen Balam for a while, he's been busy lately.

Hikaru: That's right! He's replacing Dali-San for the week. This would be the first time Iruma's going to meet him.
I pray for Iruma since Balam can be touchy, but I still love my precious boy.
~Iruma's POV~
I manage to make a 100 on this work book. I checked who this author is...Balam? That name sounds familiar....
Iruma: Wait! Hikaru mention he's friends with someone named Balam!
If Hikaru is friends with him...then he shouldn't be that bad. We were heading to demonic history but students were running out in fear. Once again, I hear Balam's name.
Iruma: He's a teacher here? I want to meet him!
Once I go in, I was suddenly wrapped in vines and hanged upside down from the ceiling. Balam-Sensei looks very scary! Although he was a bit scary, he taught his lesson when suddenly he talks about humans. As he was teaching his lesson, he comes near me and touches my back.
Balam: Huh?
Suddenly I was being carried out by Balam-Sensei.
Iruma: Woah!
Asmodeus: Iruma-sama!
Balam: You guys return to your classrooms immediately!
He runs to the teachers office and tells them I don't have wings.
Iruma: (Oh no! They're going to find out!)
The lifted up my shirt. Luckily Ali-San managed to save me by putting small wings on my back. Balam-Sensei and I walked back together.
Iruma: S-Since the period is over, I-I'm gonna leave...
I was suddenly grabbed by Balam-Sensei.
Balam-Sensei shows me his scar.
Balam: My fangs are scary, aren't they? It's not that uncommon but my jaw was peeled off in an accident a long time ago...
Balam explains his love for living things but because of his scary appearance, they won't get near him. So the consisting touching became a habit.
Iruma: You're telling me this...
Balam: Because I guess you didn't like it when we saw your tiny wings.
(Look at him, so precious)
I don't feel scared anymore...Balam-Sensei is actually really nice. He guides me to his work room for some tea. I felt so much kindness from him that I said this without thinking.

Iruma: Balam-Sensei, the truth is...I am a human.
Balam: ...Eh?
I quickly covered my mouth but it was too late.
~Third Person's POV~
Balam had a flash back, from all the mean comments about his interest in picture books and humans. Iruma was shook and Balam was silent.
Balam: Hu...
Iruma: Ah! Erm!
Balam: Did you say you're human?
Iruma: I-I didn't-!
Balam: Don't lie to me! You just said you're a human, didn't you?
Iruma: ...yes...
With that, Balam collapsed. Iruma didn't expect that reaction. Iruma made sure he was okay but Balam started lecturing Iruma on the dangers of telling is secret for a few hours. After he was done ranting, Iruma was thankful for Balam for his kindness.
Iruma: I'll be sure to be more careful Balam-Sensei.
Balam: You better.
Iruma laughs but suddenly wondered about something.
Iruma: I wonder if you freaked out this much with Hikaru?
Balam: Hikaru-Kun? Your home room teacher? He knows you're a human too?
Iruma: Yeah, since we're both humans.
Balam became silent, making Iruma worried.
Iruma: Sensei? What's wrong?
Balam: He's a...
Iruma: A human like me.
Balam suddenly stood up.
Balam: ...Go home...I need to go somewhere...
Balam rushed pass Iruma, leaving a confused Iruma behind.
Hikaru was humming a tune while reading some novels on his couch when his door was suddenly bursted open. This scared Hikaru, making him jump in fright.
Hikaru: Ah! Chirou-kun?
Balam quickly shuts the door and rushed up to Hikaru, placing his hands on Hikaru's shoulders. Squeezing it tight, making Hikaru wince.
Hikaru: H-Hey, what wrong Chirou-Kun? Are you okay? You have a scary expression right now.
Balam: Y-You're...
Hikaru: Hm?
Balam inhaled and exhaled and squeezed Hikaru's shoulder, his hands were shaking.
Balam: Hikaru-Kun, please tell me the truth. Are you a human?
Hikaru had a shocked face, suddenly a bit scared of Balam for the first time in his life. Hikaru wanted to run away, he tried to push Balam off but Balam's grip was tight.
Hikaru: H-How? I-I'm not a...
Balam hugs Hikaru, one arm wrapped around him while the other held his head. Hikaru was shaking, too scared to move or speak. The feelings of guilt that bubbled of the years are exploding. Hikaru felt guilty for lying to his best friends but for his safety, he promised to not tell. He wanted to tell one day but not right now.
Balam whispered to Hikaru.
Balam: You're my best friend Hikaru-Kun. Please don't lie to me Hikaru-Kun...please...
Hikaru shakily hugs Balam and nuzzled his head in Balam's neck. He didn't want to look at Balam in the eyes.
Hikaru: ...Yes...I'm a human.
Sukima
Balam and Hikaru were hanging out in their Battler club room. Opera dragged Kalego somewhere, most likely making Kalego buy snacks.
Hikaru: Chirou-kun, we're best friends right?
Balam: Of course we are Hikaru-Kun.
Hikaru: Then~!
Hikaru got closer to Balam.
Hikaru: Can I see your face mask less?
Balam stared at Hikaru and touched his mask.
Balam: I'm...
Hikaru: You don't have to. I don't want to force you. I'm just a bit curious. But I promise you, I would never leave you.
He held his pinky out. Balam slowly reaches out and wrapped his pinky with Hikaru's.
Balam: ...I know you wouldn't. We've been best friends, I trust you.
Balam takes it off, showing Hikaru his scarred mouth.
Hikaru: You don't look scary. How dare those bastard make fun of you when you were a kid!
Hikaru hugs Balam and nuzzles his cheek on top of Balam's head.
Hikaru: You're still my adorable Chirou-kun~!
Balam: ...Thank you Hikaru-kun.
Balam puts his mask back and enjoys Hikaru's cuddles when the door opens, revealing Kalego.
Kalego: ...Nope.
Kalego runs away and Hikaru chases him.
Hikaru: It's your turn~!
Kalego: Not happening!
Kalego notices Balam chasing him too.
Kalego: Not you too!!
Balam: It's been a while since we all cuddled.
Hikaru laughs as they both chase Kalego.
