《True Ruler》My Familiar!

Today was the first day of real school life and I was nervous. There was something I need to talk about with my grandpa and I hoped he would listen to me. It was not the best idea to go to a demon school after all.
This was why I was currently sitting with my grandpa at the dining table and not managing to eat a thing. The things did look weird but they smelled and tasted delicious.
Me: Grandpa, I have something to say about school...
Sullivan: Yes? However before that let me officially welcome you in Babilus and welcome back to your homeland, Iruma-chi!
Iruma-chi?
HUH!...
Why does he have to put a chi?
Not important right now...
With that a guy I never saw before came in with some stuffs in his hands.
Sullivan: I got you everything you need for the school.
Me: Ahm... Can I ask who is this?
???: I am Opera. Happy to meet you.
Is that even a name?
Looking at the stuffs I could tell that it was not little but a lot of different things. Not only that but both Sullivan and Opera looked soo happy about it too.
Me: Can you please not get me into trouble or pull another stunt where you just take the position of a student away. They worked soo hard to get it and it feels wrong.
Sullivan: Why should I do that? You are have royal dragon blood flowing though you. There is no need for you to feel that way. The demon world should be happy that one ancestor came back.
Me: Please!
Sullivan: All right. I will be holding myself back. No promises though.
Me: Thank you.
This was how I began walking to school and was meet with Alice leaning against the school entrance waiting for me.
Alice: Good morning Iruma-sama.
Me: Morning Alice! Can you please drop the sama part.
Alice: It would only be rude to not call you this way.
Me: What if I insist? Wouldn't it be rude to call me this way even though I told you not to?

Alice: You are right. Iruma it is then.
Me: Better. Thanks.
Alice: Now let me carry your bag!
Me: Nope. Now stand up.
I had no intention of giving him my bag and I could also tell that he would not give up that easy, so I just walked passed him and gave him a quick squeeze while laying my hand on his shoulder.
Just like that we began walking to our first lesson. Today we would summon a familiar. It was a traditional even of Babilus. Not only that but the students rank was also measured by their familiar after they successfully completed the summoning ritual. Alice also told me that a familiar is bound to serve their summoned once they were called.
I could only wonder what familiar I could get. From what I heard it was a ceremony for demons after all. Since I was currently a human being there was the slight chance that instead of summoning a familiar, I would be summoning a demon. That was at least what my mind told.
Then again I was not a true human at all but a dragon. There was no way that any of these circumstances would actually count for a dragon.
It didn't take long for us to get into a huge room. Every single first year student was waiting there too. It was so different then what I was used to. Here in this school the demons were only put into classes once they were ranked.
Not long after we got into the room, the door flew open and a man that was completely wearing black came in.
???: KEEP SILENT! It took you all 5 seconds to calm down! Next time be quicker! My name is Kallego, I'm in charge of your summoning ritual. Though I don't get paid enough for this!
He went in the middle of the room until he pulled up some kind of paper from his pocket.
Kallego: This parchment has my demonic symbol on it. All you lots have to do is draw a circle on the parchment with your blood and burn it. Now let's get this over with.

After that one by one went ahead and began summoning their familiars. They all looked amazing but I could tell that they were all scared of me.
Alice managed to get a blue phoenix. The bird looked soo cute but the moment he came over to me to show the little guy to me, the bird immediately began freaking out. Alice needed to calm it down before he could let me pat it.
Me: A blue phoenix! That's amazing!
Alice: I am sure you will get something even better Iruma!
After that it was my turn and I took the parchment from Kallego and did a blood circle around it. I also hid it so that no one could see that my blood was the color of black.
Now I am the center of attention...
How great!
I have way too much magical energy....
I can't just summon anything!
How does they even expect me to do something like that?
I will screw this up for sure!
They will expel me for this!!!
WAIT!
Getting expelled from school?!
YEAH RIGHT!
I should be glad about it!
Al I need to do is fail this summoning ritual!
I got this!
I went ahead and burned the paper however what happened next did surprise me. The moment I burned the paper, the flames that were burning the paper changed completely blue and black. As if that was not enough, 5 small flames started to burn around me and a pentagram began to form on the ground with flames.
Me: EH?!!!
In the next moment the flames went completely black and a puff I had Kallego in front of me.
Me: Kallego-sensei?
The moment I said his name, his body began glowing and he changed into the form of a small black dragon. Small was definitely the wrong word because he was huge but in comparison to my dragon form he was still small.
Me: Sensei are you all right? What happened to your body?
Kallego: This is STUPID!
I was too focused on the dragon in front of me to even realized that everyone in the room was looking at me and clapping their hands.
Alice: This was expected of the future supreme ruler!
Me: Alice, this is not a joke!
Alice: A demon summoning another demon, this never happened before. I was right! You truly are amazing Iruma.
Why do I feel like he is mocking me?
Me: Alice, this is all an accident!
Kallego: CANCEL THE CONTRACT NOW!!!
I only turned my back to Kallego for a second and he began growling at me and fletched his teeth at me. Now as a fellow dragon I would have loved nothing more as to teach him a lesson on who is the boss around here but seeing as I don't want people to find out I am a dragon, I decide against it.
Thankfully it was not needed since he immediately got zapped by a black and blue thunderbolts that just appeared around him.
Me: Kallego-sensei!
After the summoning ritual and after I let him go again, he changed back his form to his normal one. Kallego immediately had me in his hands and dragged me by the collar to my grandpa in his office begging him to cancel the communing ritual.
Sullivan: This is truly a unique summoning ritual! Why should we cancel it! No, no, no! This contract has the length of one year. You cannot cancel the contract or else you will die.
Just like that I got a powerful demon as my familiar. I was only glad that no one questioned his dragon from or even realized that he had the form of one of their ancestors. Well no one besides Sullivan knew that anyways.

Mistakes Lead To Success
Mistakes were made and it led to the death of Natalie Freemen. Her soul was captured and cared for by an young god but such protection come with a cost. Instead of taking the original offer she decided to make a deal. She would rome the multiverse and steal the essence that thrives them. In return she could become a demigod. Updates at random Romance is not the focus but a major plot point. I will take suggestions and corrective criticism. *Important Note* This makes for sense as you read along. This story is created by the viewer but there is a twist. Some chapters are static, meaning that it is to propel the plot. Others have polls that will affect other chapters but without a question. This means you don't know what it effects or in which chapter. I wanted to added this effect to create a suspense, something I didn't feel as much in other reader interactive stories. Your vote could create fortune or misfortune for the main character. I know what it will effect because have a chart that tells me the possible routes. You just have to wait and see what your choice have done. I'll even write which poll effects the chapter in the authors note. Characters could die in the story and they won't be leads anymore. In comments you can ask for a detail chart for each poll but it will only be for one answer per poll. I will chose the most requested answer. I do not own the photo.

The sea of stars. The momentaneous lifeforms that flicker far away. Our futures — a sea brimming with light. Each and every shimmer in the starry canvas serves as one’s infinite opportunities in the vast sea of the future. The world, however, is far from the ideals of such a mantra. Complacency is the enemy of progress, yet to the four known nations, each one sees enemies around their borders. An example: A village isolated from the nation of Alkai prevents the lives of many from progressing. It’ll take a society, a group, even a whipped together rag-tag team to jump start the quest for progress. An escape from a motionless home—in order to search for a greater future, Mira approaches her blade in a new light.
