Next day

Nagisa's pov

As I somehow slipped through the horde of fans and paparazzi with the help of Clara and Azz. We finally made it to our classroom with a bunch of newspapers we were carrying because of me being on the front page again

With Clara showing off to the others about it and Azz laminating it which shocked me even more

As Kalego-sensei came into the room and started doing roll call

We didn't have classes anymore and it was that time again, where I read to Ameri a manga book again

As I went inside our usual meeting place. Again prepped with cookies, tea and the place where I normally read to her

Before we started, Ameri started to say "I heard what happened about Amy Kirio. They explained it to me in secrecy. As the student council president, you have my thanks, Nagisa... It was tough, wasn't it?"

"Yes..." I said with a sad smile

Ameri stood up and said in a booming voice "Well enough of that. I will make you read through the entire book today!"

"Yes!" I said with a smile and started to read the manga

-Timeskip-

After reading the manga, I saw Ameri gushing over the manga until she looked out of the window and stood up with a serious look on her face and then said "Let's end it here, Nagisa. Someone I know is here, so I'll go meet him for a bit."

"Then I'll continue it next time then." I said as she was about to walk past me

"Sorry Nagisa. Next time again, alright?" She said as her head was sticking out from outside the room door

"Sure." I said as she nodded then closed the door

Aftee I put the manga back in the hidden wall of manga books and closed it so no one can find it. I started to roam the halls since we've finished earlier than expected and I don't have any club activities today. So I'm just waiting for Azz and Clara to finish their day of cleaning so we could walk home like usual

As I was busy with my thoughts, I heard someone cleared their throat from behind me. I turned around and saw/said "Azazel-san? What are you doing here?"

"I have some business to attend to." He said as he fixed the position of his glasses

"Oh! I don't know where Grandpa is though. You can try to find him at his office. He's usually there most of the time." I said

"I'm not here to talk to Lord Sullivan. I'm actually here to talk with you, Nagisa-kun. I already have your guardians permission to question you."

"Oh? Alright then but let's go somewhere more private. Follow me please." I said making him nod

As we arrived in a secluded area in the courtyard where I know for a fact that little to no demon every goes here

As we sat on the bence, looking at the trees and the wall in front of us as we sat in silence

"So Azazel-san, what do you wanna talk about?" I asked while swinging my feet

"How are you handling this whole situation?" He asked

"Which one?" I asked with a smile

"Everything, since the first day that you've met Lord Sullivan." He said making me nod

"What are you my psychiatrist?" I scoffed making him look at me confused

"Oh right, you guys don't have that yet. Well truth be told, everything up to this point was actually filled with wonderful memories."

"Your not overwhelmed? Afraid? Shocked?" He asked

"No. Not really. No. I just got used to it. Expect the unexpected, as they say. So let's leave it at that." I said making him nod

"How is the food? Any abnormalities?" He asked

"No. If anything they actually taste delicious." I said with a smile

He just nodded and said "Forgive me for asking these questions but you're the first human devil hybrid we've ever encountered in the whole nether world. So please understand."

"I understand even I'm still figuring out what I really am and what is it I'm gonna do I already know." I said with a smile making him nod and smile as well

"That is comendable. Very well then, I'll be off now, I still have a lot of things to be done at the station. Thank you for answering the questions, Nagisa-kun. And also before I go, I need to inform you that you being a hybrid will be a top class secret. So don't go telling what you are to anybody for fear of them doing something terrible to you. But you already knew that didn't you. Again goodbye Nagisa-kun."

I smiled and before I can say my goodbye, I heard someone call out from a distance making me and Azazel-san to look at that direction and saw Ameri was running towards us while calling out "Father!"

As she arrived at the scene, she turned to look at me and did a double take and said in a distressed voice "Na-Nagisa-kun?! What are you doing here?"

"I was talking with Azazel-san over here."

"You were talking with my father?!"

"Wait, your father?"

She cleared her throat and started to introduce Azazel-san to me

I looked over at Azazel-san and said "You didn't tell me Ameri-san was your daughter."

"You didn't tell me you knew my daughter?" He then looked towards Ameri and said "Ameri, you know this boy?"

"Of course, Nagisa is a fine demon with a lot of potential.He has shown that he is capable and hard working from his achievements since he enrolled here. A one of a kind demon."

"I see. Well, Nagisa here told me where the principal's office was and by doing so we somehow got into a friendly chat with one another." He explained then looked at me and said "Thank you." then back at Ameri and said "But it is rare to hear you highly evaluate someone

"W-Well... The both of us often talk together..." She said as she looked of to the side with a blush on her face

Instantly my nerves were going hay wire. As I was thinking things over, I instantly knew that thw both of them have a close relationship meaning she can't lie to her father!!!

I quickly made an excuse to leave the two alone before things get dicey but was stopped by a hand firmly grasping my shoulder

I looked at the person who's hand it was and saw a pissed off Azazel

"Nagisa-kun... WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING WITH MY DAUGHTER!!!!"

"FATHER!"

"I SWEAR! I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO HER!"

"THEN WHY ARE YOU TALKING WITH HER ABOUT LOVE, THE FUTURE AND MARRIAGE!"

"I NEVER TALKED WITH HER ABOUT MARRIAGE!"

"I WILL NEVER ALLOW YOU TO CALL ME FATHER! EVER!!"

"I NEVER ASKED!"

Then Ameri quickly pulled Azazel away from me and said "You should go, Nagisa. I'll deal with this." making me nod as she dragged her father, who seems to have his soul sucked out of him. As I wave goodbye with a smile and a sweat drop
